Yes,a simple lesson we should all learn, never give up if you fail at something, just try again, one day you will get there.Like our beloved president Muhammadu Buhari, he tried over & over again before we could finally rescue Nigeria from the Jonathans & his evil goons,we are better off now.Congrats Queen Unoaku, you are a queen of change.Cheers. |

Tunde Sobulo (MON) was a man I knew personally & I can say he remains one of the most upright & dedicated policemen ever produced in this country. He had zero tolerance for crime & was a number one crime fighting police office. He was pioneer commander of the RRS in Lagos & his antecedents would always be on record. To the rotten mouths that don't know anything & telling their fathers & mothers to rot in hell, he was American trained & had a good job as a senior correctional officer in the US before been lured back home to join & help in developing the police force back here,a call he answered, he would have been much more better off in the US but he came back home to serve, his quest for doing things right even made him bypassed for promotion in the corrupt Nigerian system but his integrity remain intact till his last days, even while ill, he was still dedicated to his duty as a police officer. He would surely be missed by the good people of Lagos State, Baba Sobulo rest in peace & my sincere condolences to your family, friends, colleagues & the Nigeria Police. To Robert & Laila, take solace in the fact that your Daddy was a great man that touched many lives & would always be remembered. RIP Babatunde Morankinyo Sobulo. ( bodealonge@yahoo.com ) |

Basically I just feel somehow we need to start getting things right in this country. It's so shameful the efforts & technicalities that the senate President & his legal team have been putting in the way & trying to get the tribunal not to sit on Dr. Saraki's corruption charges. For God's sake,Dr Saraki has been issuing statements & press releases here & there but not once has he actually spoken on the fundamental material issue on ground i.e the charges brought against him, someone should remind this man that he is the senate President & no 3 citizen in the country, he will surely be put under scrutiny particularly that this administration (which he is supposed to be part of) has made it clear that one of it's main aim is to fight corruption. This man should be fair to us Nigerians & come out on these charges, he has a lot of negative public perception centered across his previous antecedents, the EFCC questioned his wife for same corruption issues, we still have the case of the defunct Societte bank, now the CCB case of a whole 13 count charge, so pathetic that someone with such visible skeletons in his cupboard is now the person leading our senate in the country, I weep for Nigeria. No matter how our normal sentimental societal judgements is trying to make this issue look like, this man should be tried, of course he has a fundamental right to defend himself, but for such a sensitive & exalted position he holds, I am bold to say, morally I question if Dr Saraki is indeed fit to lead the legislative house of our country at this critical time of our nation rebuilding from the destruction of our economy by the previous administration of President Goodluck Jonathan & his cohorts. God save & bless Nigeria. |

Bastard??people just open their mouths & use all sorts of derogatory words on social media, I understand that not everybody around is cultured & sane but opening your mouth & calling your President a bastard shows that you are a lowlife & most probably a retard -Simple. To the main issue, I am sure that the authorities would settle any areas as appropriate because we cannot afford to slacken our efforts in pushing these infidel Boko haram insurgency out of our beloved nation. we will surely overcome. God bless & save Nigeria. |

Good,a step for her to open a new page after all the negatives associated with her during the ill fated Good luck administration, definitely she tried her best but when one is in the midst of criminals & unrepentant looters that were all around her during the administration, we should not put all the all blame of mismagement on the poor woman, she was simply in the right place at the wrong time.I am sure when she looks back, deep inside she would know that she was just used by Oga Jona & his gang of goons for their looting spree. I wish her the best in her new endeavour & hopefully she will do better in a sane environment. |
