Education / Jamb Offline Access Code by jambarowolo: 1:23pm On Oct 30, 2015
Dear all,
There has been some new developments as regards to 2016 JAMB Registration. JAMB released some update versions of their Offline Software. These have further restricted the numbers of computer systems that can register. The implications are:
1. Direct Online registration is no longer possible except when it will be initiated from the Offline software.
2. Only one computer can now use an Access Code. Every other system swapped will immediately be barred when the system connects online.
3. The systems successfully swapped and made to be offline can register offline, export but exported files are not transferable from the main system (this is still under test).
We have however established the new parameter to register as agents to CBT centres:
1. JAMB is making it possible for CBT Centres to apply for multiple Access Code at extra fees.
2. These Multiple extra Access Code can only be used to capture (register) candidates Offline, after which data will then be sent to the CBT centres which will then transfer (ability for agents to transfer is not yet confirmed), and validate.
3. The multiple Access Code comes from almighty JAMB at the cost of N10,000. However, CBT centres are still charging at varying cost. This could make the cost from N12,000 and above.
4. Agents can not apply for Access Code directly from JAMB, except through the CBT centres.
5. The requests for Access Code is a process between the CBTs and JAMB, thus it takes time.

I have been in series of meetings with various CBT centres over this weekend at establishing new modalities for registration. I have indicated interest of purchasing Access Codes from two different CBT centres. We are yet to conclude how much these centres will give the Access Codes out. But I will definitely keep you informed.

Invariably, what JAMB is tending towards is to still enforce us paying N10,000 to them (as in the beginning, before they sold us away to the BIG BOYS--CBT Centres), while still satisfying the agreement of enriching the Centres, as we are compelled to pay Validation fee to centres and be at their mercies.

So, to those who are interested to roll with this new development. Kindly forward all your correspondence to jambofflinereg@gmail.com

This is to notify all that jamb offline activation is very much possible, just reach us on 08038239321.
