Phones / Is Telegram CEO Responsible For This? by james078: 12:01pm On Nov 22, 2020
| 1 Minute Read |

Some months back Pavel Durov made a controversial post on his telegram channel about IOS's 30% app developer commission cut. ( You can check the post here https:///durov/122)

That post was made in July 28 of 2020 precisely and it got the attention of Apple's team even though Google Play Store has the same 30% Tax.

Some time in October Apple released a statement informing telegram that it was irrelevant releasing that information to Apple users.

Durov also mentioned that Apple blocked Facebook from releasing that information in one of their posts.
And just recently Apple has been reported to reduce their 30% developer tax to 15% to some developers beginning from January 1st 2021.

Is Pavel Durov a sole or contributive cause to the change of policy?

Politics / Re: #EndSars: Just Speechless! The motivation and Energy Is Very High Here by james078: 7:40pm On Oct 18, 2020
Meanwhile, Anonymous If you happen to read this just know I have forgiven you on this one.

At least I know Multi choice has pulled off so much disregard for the laws of this country, despite many users complaints

But if it's a ploy by the government to keep a certain number of people off the streets then I am very sorry cause it's another failed plan.

I don't know how to say this.

So far the protest has been unanimous, I am so glad and proud that this is happening now.

I thought of putting an effort to start an online protest in November after my social media break in October.

But this method is way............ Better than anything I could have ever pulled off from my end for the reasons that it has no leader, no government, no structured institution managing the protests.

I longed for the day that Nigerians in their multitudes from different tribes all with one focus of making the country great again by making the government and it's institutions accountable.

Politicians has sponsored tribalism in the country like their lives depend on it, but, it became unfortunate for them as this generation has sought a common cause and pushing for it, breaking through all walls of tribalism and ethnic bigotry.
Let the tribalism end with their generation as we seek a new beginning.

America, United Kingdom etc... has all kinds of races and culture in their country but they celebrate themselves in diversity with little or no forms of ethnic bigotry and tribalism.

But it breaks my heart that I haven't been involved in this important event in the history of Nigeria because of my medical episodes that struck this month and which has become worse over time and I keep seeing this event as hope for my recovery.

The way it has been handled so far has given me morale ( e dey tear my eyelashes ) too much motivation and inspiration and I just want to appeal on behalf of my kind that you should keep it up cause we are depending on you and we may not be there physically especially those in the hospitals but we are with you in this fight.

And I know we would win because we are the super heroes of ourselves and children both the ones yet unborn.
The #ClarkKentsofAfrica. (If we succeed other african countries will follow suit)

I know we would win because we are the #QuantumComputers with Quantum processors and chipsets against the #PentiumComputers with Pentium chipsets.

I know we would win because we have a lot to lose if we don't succeed in this effort, and cause our kids won't fight this battle again because it has been fought many times and lost.

I know we would win cause we have the numbers and we have a purpose!

Thanks for all the effort keep up the good work.
The world is watching and with us.

Phones / Did Anonymous Really Hacked Glo by james078: 3:40pm On Oct 18, 2020
Anonymous has been recorded as a Hacktivist group that hacks Countries organizations that tends to repress it's citizens.

Some days back it was reported that glo was hacked, I didn't feel bad about it because, they have messed me up badly various times when I needed their data services.

But I still stick with them cause I am a heavy downloader and their offers and network speeds are better compared to the rest in my locality.

Unfortunately for me, I experienced another set back today while trying to use their services.
I tried to recharge in order to subscribe and download a file for a work which was supposed to be ready before tomorrow but the airtime kept going to a bonus account which can't be used for anything else apart from calls.

I don't use the line for calls and have never migrated to any crazy tariff plan.
After so many tries I called customer and all they could tell me is that they are having technical difficulties on their network I should try this and that... but nothing really worked.
My last call with them made me so angered that I would have hit the person on the other end of the line with anything i could find if the person was physically close.

For me not to go insane I tried using Airtel and I was betrothed with slow network.
I couldn't help myself but to have a relapse and cried real bad.

If anonymous really hacked the network then he also hacked my day

Thanks alot.
But please how does this freelancing thing works?
Is it writing articles and getting paid per click?
Or is there more to it?
You get paid to write for someone in their blogs and websites
You get paid to write emails, or handle social media handles etc
Depending on your skills and levels.
