Politics / Is This The Change You Promised Nigerians? NANS Pres. Arrested Over.. by james078: 4:54pm On Feb 18, 2016
Breaking: Police teargas Students, arrests NANS president for protesting unilateral sack of 13 VCs
Education News Politics Top Storiesabout 1 hour ago

The National President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Tijani Usman was Thursday arrested by security operatives after leading a protest to challenge the unconventional sack of 13 university Vice Chancellors and their unilateral replacement by the President Muhammadu Buhari administration.
Only nine of the 13 had exhausted their tenures.
The security agency which descended violently on protesters and journalists arrested Usman while leading a blockade of the entrance of the Federal Ministry of Education. They were sitting at the entrance of the ministry when policemen began to teargas them.
The students who described the sack and replacement as illegal called for the reversal of the developments.
The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu told reporters thereafter that no decision of the government will be reversed because somebody somewhere feels aggrieved.
“Some have made presentations and reservations and they are being looked at,” he said.
On Wednesday, Civil rights organisations shut down the entrance of the National Assembly and Ministry of Education in Abuja where they submitted petitions asking Buhari to rescind the sack.
The protesters described the sack as illegal.
Chairman of the coalition, Bassey Williams Etuk, called on President Muhammdu Buhari to relieve the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, of his appointment “because he knows nothing”.
According to Etuk, the sacking of the VCs and their replacement with people mostly from the North violated the federal character principles.
One of their placards reads: “Six Professors were taken from Bayero University, Kano as replacement… Haba! Why?”
They chanted solidarity songs, including: Adamu must go, reinstate the sacked VCs now and Nigeria needs a better administrator in the Education Ministry.”
A petition to the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, was received on their behalf by the National Assembly Deputy Sergeant-At-Arms, Dennis Maaji.
The group gave the Minister 48 hours to reverse the sack and resign his appointment “because he doesn’t seem to understand the working of University system and administration”.
Etuk said the coalition would be heading to court to stop the sack as the tenure of five of the sacked VCs were yet to expire.
The protesters also barricaded the Federal Ministry of Education located at the Federal Secretariat, Abuja.
Etuk said: “The minister does not have any right to call for the sack of 13 Vice Chancellors.
“Nine of the 13 sacked Vice Chancellors, their tenure was to expire this last Monday.
“But four, their tenure is still running.
“Some have two years, some have one year and six months.
“What he did, which is most disrespectful to the laws of the land, is that he appointed six people, his friends, from one university.
“He appointed six professors from one university, Bayero University, Kano, and he posted them to different tertiary institutions.
“Not only that, he also appointed two professors from Katsina State, making it eight friends from the just two states in North.
“We came here to tell him that Nigeria is not a sectional country.
“We are one indivisible Nigeria, nobody should separate us.
“Nobody should play sentiments with our economy and education sectors.
“The academic community has been here even before the minister was born.
“He cannot come and change it.
“Our appeal to him is to honourably reverse the decision
“Let’s agree with him that what he did was wrong, that he did it in a haste.
“We are here to tell him that he should please reserve that decision within 48 hours with immediate effects.
“If does not do that under 48 hours, we will call for his resignation.”
Etuk said the coalition would be heading to court to stop the sack as the tenure of five of the sacked VCs

Government psychologists, sociologists and advisers should be fired for not offering their expertise to government in preventing this hugely embarrassing situation. The DSS too, has had it’s fair share of legal blunders, inch by inch, handing the second Nnamdi a legal initiative, even in incarceration. Nnamdi’s lawyers appear to be smarter than the prosecution. How it plays out is certainly a subject of interest.

Here I tell a tale of two Nnamdis, who have blazed a trail across our country, Nigeria.

The first Nnamdi was a politician and a journalist, educated in the United States of America, whereas the second Nnamdi is an activist, economist and educated in the United Kingdom. The first irony is that both, with entirely different educational traditions from two countries across the pond, cross paths in terms of activism. The second irony is that an economist, who by all expectations should tend to be pessimist and conservative in nature, and especially coming from a conservative nation like Britain, would pick up a cause as contentious as Biafra, and project it to such intense levels of world attention. While the activism of the first Nnamdi was to free the whole of Nigeria from the shackles of colonialism, the second Nnamdi is fiercely acting to free the Eastern Nigeria from the clutches of a “local cabal” who he claims work only for the interest of the select few. The first Nnamdi was a pan-Africanist, but the second Nnamdi is a regionalist, with Zionist credentials. The first Nnamdi had opportunity, before independence, to pull Eastern Nigeria out of the British construction called Nigeria, because regions were greatly autonomous and had any region, at the imminence of independence, manifestly expressed the desire to be independent of the rest of Nigeria, the British had no scruples, but to grant such expressions of self-determination.

The first Nnamdi had no such inclinations, for he sought Marcus Garvey’s utopia of pan-Africanism, alongside such proponents as Kwameh Nkrumah. Then was a golden era of idealism, pregnant with possibilities, and imaginations of greatness running wild. Then our educated elites could rub shoulders with the greats of developed nations, for in reality, they had been acculturated, groomed and drilled in the rigours of intercultural communication, etiquette, and diplomatic finesse. Little wonder their diction then was so close to that of the English natives, that they had no sense of insecurity, foreboding, or inhibitions. Such was their confidence, that the first Nnamdi did not foresee any issues about his region competing shoulder to shoulder with any other region and even countries. The second Nnamdi has no such illusions. He has the benefit of hindsight. He had seen how the Eastern region’s aggressive competitiveness at intellectual, economic, political and social fronts backlashed and led to much discontent, and utterances on YouTube from prominent men of that era about such “bad belle” abound. He had seen how the diversity of Nigeria had become a perpetual burden to national development, and had come to a conclusion that it’s hopeless to try. The diverse peoples should go their different ways, he has surmised. More to his chagrin, he has read and heard and watched clips and images of Biafra, the decimation, deprivation, and destitution of a people, although resilient and industrious, yet continue to struggle against a system set up to contain them. He has had enough. He also has seen first-hand, that our elites today, are nowhere a near match to the profound education of mind, body and spirit that the early elites had. He had seen the degeneration of values, education, religion and the sharpened base and primitive instincts of our elites. Even as the rest of the world are moving and advancing, we appear to retrogress on all fronts and across all parameters.

The first Nnamdi was a pacifist. He was also a lucky man who had an ardent and fanatical followership across Nigeria, especially in the Eastern region. He was much loved across Nigeria, but people never really rose to his full appreciation, for exactly the same reasons why the second Nnamdi is fighting for the excision of Eastern Nigeria. The first Nnamdi could have died on January, 15th, 1966, but for a dint of pure luck, he was outside the country. Some say he was tipped off by his cousin, others say the coup was fast-tracked to counter another impending coup. Whatever the case, some analysts say, had the first Nnamdi died in that coup, his death could have spared thousands of his kinsmen who died in the pogroms in the North and subsequently, millions who died in the Biafra war, the ordeal and prospects of extermination. The second Nnamdi appears ready to die, unlike the first Nnamdi, but the problem is that his death would surely ignite a cataclysm that might eventually achieve his dream of dismembering Nigeria. I don’t know if the federal authorities realise this.

The Biafra idea is to the second Nnamdi, what “one Nigeria” was to the first Nnamdi. Both had passion for their different obsessions. The first Nnamdi called Nigeria “his beloved country” but the second Nnamdi calls it “a zoo”.

The first Nnamdi was half-hearted about Biafra, and although acting as a diplomatic emissary in the early days of the war, defected to the federal side when it was crimson clear it was a futile war. The second Nnamdi is leading from the front and is also not backing down from his claims so far. The second Nnamdi appears to have very logical and coherent reasons for his convictions, and it is fair to say, a man is entitled to his convictions, regardless of what others think of his claims. Listening to the second Nnamdi, you get a sense he has lived and breathed these ideas from his youth. He marshals them out with dexterity and practiced fluency. The Biafra idea is to the second Nnamdi, what “one Nigeria” was to the first Nnamdi. Both had passion for their different obsessions. The first Nnamdi called Nigeria “his beloved country” but the second Nnamdi calls it “a zoo”. The first Nnamdi had is fair share of arrests and court cases, first in the Gold Coast, now Ghana, and subsequently at the hands of the British colonialists and later during an investigation in post-independent Nigeria. The second Nnamdi is already having the battle of his life in a series of court-cases and appearances that continue to heat up the Nigerian polity.

The first Nnamdi was seen as a threat, due to his towering stature, acumen, enterprise, skills and foresight. He was a self-made man. His fame came from hard work, resilience and years of commitment. The second Nnamdi has been seen as a threat even in obscurity and thus has just been made famous by the state. His singular arrest has provided him leverage and ensured his international status. From now onwards, anything happening to the second Nnamdi, is sure to grace newspaper and social media pages both traditional and emergent. One pundit, Bishop Hassan Kukah has forcefully argued that no political leader in Nigeria can muster the crowd this “boy” has been pulling, even from behind bars. He therefore asked the government to do business with him. The first Nnamdi was a crowd puller too. He could not be ignored in the Nigeria of his days. He was and still remains the singular Igbo leader of modern times yet to cross ethnic and tribal divides. Ojukwu was not seen as such and could not be accepted by other tribes. This second Nnamdi appears to be making headway towards acceptability, despite his fiery rhetoric, thanks to the federal government. The second Nnamdi saw demonstrations in all the South-Eastern and most South-South states, and then in Lagos and Abuja. Across the world too, in many countries, there have been protests calling for his release. There might be other sympathisers in unexpected places waiting to erupt into protests at the snap of a finger, who knows. The growing discontent, both economic

Culture / We The Efiks Are Not Ibos - Delight Archibong by james078: 11:28pm On Dec 24, 2015
This article is to set the records straight about the tagging of all southerners as igbos.

In detail I am asking the yorubas and hausas to not be so disappointed when they read ahead cause the information in this article and the topic may not seem to correlate.

For the time being I am welcoming any disatisfaction and doubts on the credibility of the information therein cause everyone has a fundamental human and spirit rights with entitlement to their personal opinions.
This was an article I got from someone so I decided to share it here..
Please dont ask me any question in the comments box cause I may not have answers to them
THE EFIKS ARE NOT IGBOS
" The divide and rule tactics that is used against the old Biafran terittories is very alarming and scary, they have applied what I call critty-cracker techniques, although I won't blame them (the northerners and south west) I blame my brothers who just can't see through it they just can't see through the veil.
When the northerners and the igbos clashed in kano in 1953 we the efiks recorded casualties, we lost twenty lives and just two people from annang lost the breath of life and the rest of the 478 were igbos. And the casualties that was counted they also identified us as igbos not even annang or efik.
What does that tell you?
When they want to attack you they attack anyone from south east and the south and call them "igbos" but when they have ulterior motives and wants to cause confusion among the people of the old eastern regions they disect and tag them accordingly south-south, south west, south east.
Now where in the world would you see a south-south margin or geopolitical zone? why haven't I seen a west-west, north-north, east-east etc.
South westerners I hail them they are very wonderful, I will applaud their leaders for a job well done.
A new uprising has been instigated by the new group called ipob I won't speak much on this cause so many groups may even emerge in the future this isn't a one man fight.
IPOB GROUP's method of operations.
As much as I don't like the modus operandi of the Nnamdi kanu led Ipob group its just unfortunate that i am unable to drown the support for the restoration of Biafra in the lagoon (excerpt from Oba akiolu of lagos state) because I know this stuggle is greater than Nnamdi kanu and massob's uwazuruike to be sincere it's not only Nnamdi kanu that was called to perfect the restoration of Biafra. I know of one man who I met while in I.T and had the same vision and he was from ugep, calabar.
Many were called few were chosen.
Now from one of the history books I read while in school (was it states of the African continent?) I recall that in 1858 the presbytery church that was built by the Scots missionaries was called the presbytery of Biafra in 1921 before it was changed to Presbyterian church of eastern Nigeria in 1952.
Why are we still called "igbos"
The core igbos still call the Efiks, Annangs Ibibios etc "igbos" they may have a valid reason for that but I'm not sure even my son would like to be identified as igbo, igbo is a language and efik is a language and I don't see any reason why we the efiks should be called igbos.
I do know that we migrated from Arochukwu, that has being the major reason why they still refer to us as igbos.
Merx Tucker once said that when some ethnic groups migrate to a different environment they tend to generate new culture, language and traditions. Even the igbos changed their language when they moved up north, the idomas, urrhobo etc.
The igbos should quit calling the Efiks as igbos it builds a rage in the heart of my people.
We do accept the fact that we were once part of Biafra and may still be if they don't stop doing what the northerners/south west did which the ipob group are preaching against..
Now if I was privileged to talk with one of the leaders in the Ipob group I would ask them to reduce the effort they are using to convince the so called South South people and channel it to lure their enemies to themselves and make the struggle be very known to the world..
Infact I would suggest NnamdI Kanu to get to his enemies and if he is arrested the agitation would gain more popularity.
He should create many enemies for himself not the struggle.
The higher the number of enemies the higher his chances of succeeding in his quest.
I won't forget Macallese of ireland that said "I have a lot of enemies but I don't mind adding another one"
Enemies are like precious stones cause they keep you alert and on your feet.
-Voltaire.
Like my late friend from Abua would say " If you remove fish from the River so goes the brain of the kalabari, if you take away the lands so goes the brain of the ikwerres.
This guys don't stand a chance for economic competition."

Politics / Judge Recuses Self From Hearing Treason Charges Against Kanu by james078: 7:17pm On Dec 23, 2015
Following the fresh six-count charges filled by the Federal Government of Nigeria against the embattled leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, a federal High Court judge has exempted himself from hearing the case. Justice Ahmed Mohammed who announced the decision on Wednesday in Abuja after Mr. Kanu objected to the case, said that it was needless, as the federal government had repeatedly disobeyed previous court rulings.

Kanu was charged before the Federal High Court, Abuja alongside two others, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi in a fresh six-count charge of treason and managing the affairs of ‘an unlawful society.’ The government is accusing Mr. Kanu of plotting to split Nigeria, by creating a Biafra Republic with south east, south south states, and parts of Kogi and Benue states, as component units.

Kanu, who was arraigned before Justice Mohammed Wednesday, told the court before commencement of the prosecution’s plea that he preferred being held in the detention, than subjecting himself to a trial, which outcome will not be respected. He said his previous trials had various outcomes that were abused or neglected by the office of the State Security Service, SSS.

The counsel to the prosecution, who is also the Federal Director of Prosecution, office of the Attorney General, Mohamed Diri, told the court that based on section 396 (2) of the constitution, the defendant had no right to object to being tried by the court until after the plea is heard. However, Justice Mohammed who said he was opting out of the case also countered the prosecution counsels, saying that Mr. Kanu had the right to reject the trial, “after all justice is rooted on confidence,” he said.

“If any of the parties has no confidence in the court, he has the right to say so”, Mr. Mohammed ruled. He noted that the prosecution would have done the same thing if they were in Kanu’s shoes. “Assuming it was the prosecution, if they had no confidence in the court of jurisdiction; would they not have done so?” “I hereby remit the case file to the honourable chief judge of this court to reassign it,” the judge said.

Guy, I have listened to the tape. Are you sure you listened to it? ? When the second caller asked why Ihejerika and Jona who are supposedly 'Biafrans' couldn't give them Biafra inspite of Igbo support, Kanu's response was very clear: he started his response by saying "The reason why we support Goodluck Jonathan is because..". He didn't say we 'supported' (past tense), he said 'we support' (present tense) Goodluck Jonathan because he convocated a 'sovereign' National conference' (at which point the caller interjected him and told him the conference wasn't 'sovereign'). Quit being disingenuous bro and face the truth. Throughout that convo, Kanu was persistent in his defense of Goodluck Jonathan and even bragged that Jonathan would get Igbo votes irrespective of his convocation of the conference, that he would get it anyway/regardless! If that right there isn't an open endorsement of his candidacy, then pray tell what is? By his statements he'd practically disowned any opposition to his candidacy. That's the truth, unless you want to be dishonest.
I understand what you said up there I listened it through out, now if you were an ardent listener of radio biafra you would have heard when he instructed the igbos in November 2014 not to register for voters card some obeyed some didn't after he noticed that the national conference wasn't about the sovereignty of biafra.

Elder statesman and Igbo leader, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka has hailed the release from detention of Nnamdi Kanu, the Director of Radio Biafra and leader of Indigenous People of Biafra by the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

He described the development as a great news as it will douse the already heated tension surrounding his detention.

Ezeonwuka, who is a member of the Board of Trustees of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) while speaking in Onitsha, told newsmen that Kanu’s discharge from the case leveled against him by the DSS, was a landmark victory for justice, Ndigbo and the masses who were agitating for their right in a way they decided to do it.

He said by so doing, the court had once more proven to be the last hope of the common man.

He said, “Kanu has emerged as a hero of Ndigbo and nobody can take that away from him. His agitation leading to his arrest and detention has made our voice to be heard, opened our wound to the glaring notice of the people that matters in Nigeria and I believe that something good will follow the issues he raised, therefore the issues surrounding him have to be given serious attention. In my capacity as Ogirisi Igbo, I want to advice him to listen to our elders’ advice on how to address our problems. I’m sure he must have realized that we are all behind him now, so let him take our advice.”

According to the APGA chieftain “the issue of Biafra is all about the wellbeing of the Igbo man in the Nigerian setting and Biafra is as good as a dream come true when the roads are fixed, when the lights shine uninterrupted, when jobs are available for youths, when there is enough federal presence in the southeast, when the federal appointments are balanced among the geopolitical zones and when the Igbo man is president. That is Biafra in my opinion.”

It all started with this post from Kayode Ogundamisi. A lot of netizens have already concluded it’s Linda.

Below is her response..

So, social commentator and activist Kayode Ogundamisi tweeted this today…he didn’t mention any names but I am now trending on Twitter. Many assume he’s talking about me…and you can’t blame them really. He said…popular! I’m somewhat popular! He said female.. I’m female…duh! Lol. He said Lagos…I live in Lagos…some posh place called Banana Island..lol. #Just teasing!

So people are reacting and some actually believe it! That PDP or someone in the party gave me N240m? For what? Advert? This was why I didn’t want to get politics advert money in the first place o…and but then some of you advised that I do when I asked here and now see the gbege that I have entered…lol.

But seriously for the record…no party registered or unregistered, no human being dead or alive gave me N240m for anything. The only advert I did for PDP was a page background take-over for former president Jonathan… and they asked for the space after I did a page background take-over for APC’s Akinwunmi Ambode. (I’m sure you all saw it). The two parties paid me same amount. I had a politics advert rate which I sent to everyone who wanted to advertise on LIB! And it was a few millions …which some of you followed to chop inside in the giveaway that April…lol. #Kidding!

Anyway, all these bad belle people looking for ways to bring a woman down…like I always say…you can’t! Except you’re mightier than God! Whether you like it or not, I’m a hardworking young woman who God chose to bless the work of her hand and is using me to bless others. Get over it! I am here to stay! Not going nowhere! *wink*. Make I go find una more news ojare!

14 December 2015 – A constitutional referendum meant to help stabilize the Central African Republic (CAR) amid conflict between Muslim and Christian factions took place successfully in the majority of the country yesterday, but violent “spoilers” disrupted the process in some areas, the top United Nations peacekeeping official reported today.

“Efforts to undermine yesterday’s constitutional referendum demonstrate that there are actors that remain determined to derail the political process,” UN Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations Hervé Ladsous, told the Security Council, reporting that three UN peacekeepers were injured in cases of violence and intimidation in Bangui, the capital, and in Bria.

“With only two weeks until the first round of (presidential) elections, time is of the essence to further contain such attempts by the spoilers. The entire international community must remain united in its uncompromising message rejecting any attempt to derail the political process from any quarter and to demonstrate that there will be consequences for those that seek to undermine the political process,” he said.

“We must not allow attempts by a few, as demonstrated yesterday, to disrupt the hopes and aspirations of many for a successful electoral process that will return their country to constitutional order,” emphasized Mr. Ladsous.

Voting has been extended today in places where it was impeded as the electoral calendar moves into high gear to complete the transition in CAR after more than two years of fighting between the mainly Muslim Séléka and mainly Christian anti-Balaka groups. The first round of presidential and legislative elections is scheduled for 27 December.

Mr. Ladsous said efforts to undermine the referendum by elements of both groups were reported in parts of Bangui and outside, although preventive steps by the UN integrated stabilization mission in CAR, known by the French acronym MINUSCA, allowed voting to proceed in at least some polling centres in Bangui and Bria, despite localized security incidents.

In Birao, Bossangoa, Ndele and Kaga-Bandoro “spoilers resorted to violence and intimidation of voters and electoral staff thereby preventing the holding of the referendum despite the actions of MINUSCA,” he added.

“Looking ahead, we must be reminded that as important as they are, these elections are not an end in themselves,” he stressed. “In order to truly address the root causes of the crisis, we will need to support the new Government in working in a spirit of unity, inclusivity and reconciliation.’

“To address these as well as other priorities such as the humanitarian situation or economic recovery, key to the stability of the country, the sustained support of this Council and key partners will be essential. The people of the Central African Republic who have experienced such tragedy for so long deserve nothing less,” he said.

Mr. Ladsous highlighted the unprecedented registration of nearly two million voters, 95 per cent of the estimated electorate, demonstrating “the strong desire for change,” and vowed that MINUSCA and the UN system will continue technical, logistical and security support.

He noted that Pope Francis’s visit to Bangui last month brought new hope for easing inter-communal tensions, citing the “remarkable image” of unity afforded by the Pope’s presence at a mosque, showing that religion is not at the heart of the country’s challenges.

He pledged MINUSCA’s continued commitment to a “robust posture” to protect civilians and called for strong action to ensure that the perpetrators of serious human rights abuses are brought to justice.

An online video claims to show a pile of "Yes" votes sitting on a table marked "No"
The chief counting officer has defended the conduct of the Scottish referendum after allegations of vote rigging.
More than 70,000 people have signed an online petition demanding "a revote counted by impartial international parties".
In a statement, the chief counting officer said all counts "were properly conducted and scrutinised".
Ten votes in Glasgow are already being investigated over a separate claim of multiple voting.
The change.org petition says: "Countless evidences of fraud during the recent Scottish Referendum have come to light, including two counts of votes being moved in bulk into a 'No' pile, 'Yes' votes clearly being seen in 'No' piles and strange occurrences with dual fire alarms and clear cut fraud in Glasgow.
"We demand a revote be taken of said referendum, where each vote shall be counted by two individuals, one of whom should be an international impartial party without a stake in the vote."
Former SNP deputy leader Jim Sillars has called for an official inquiry into the claims raised by the petition and in an online video.
Mr Sillars tweeted: "The vote rigging is disturbing. Enquiry required."

Politics / Biafra: South-south Does Not Exist: General J.o Achuzie by james078: 3:01pm On Dec 10, 2015
SOUTH-SOUTH DOES NOT EXIST: GENERAL J.O ACHUZIE
By Ibeh Gift Amarachi

(From Family Writers)Following an interview granted by General J.O Achuzie to Family Writers/Biafra Journalist in his hometown Asaba Delta State,he proved Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra and Director of Radio Biafra/Biafra Television right, that the name South-South is an evil ploy devised by the Hausa/Fulani to divide Biafrans,as the “DIVIDE AND RULE” ploy is the best way to promote hatred between all regions in Biafra Land and to have easy access to Biafra natural resources. In Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s words “I HAVE NOT SEEN WHERE ONE CAN BE CALLED A MINORITY, IN HIS OWN FATHERS LAND. THE SOUTH-SOUTH GARBAGE IS A DIVIDE AND RULE TACTICS CONCOCTED BY HAUSA/FULANI, INOTHER TO HAVE EASY ACCESS TO OIL AND GAS, FROM OUR BROTHERS THEY REGARD AS MINORITIES".

In the interview, General J.O ACHUZIE “THE AIR RAID” said; “I was queried by some group of persons on how we say that South-South is part of Biafra? I laughed and asked them, what they mean by South-South? Up till 1960-1970 there was no South-South, not until YAKUBU GOWON decided that the North was not satisfied with the Program against the South. When I say the program against the South, the program did not affect the Yorubas,it was directed against the South-East. Whether you are from Rivers,Bayelsa,Akwa-Ibom,Delta or Cross River State, as far as the Northerners are concerned you are an Igbo Man. I wonder why a Rivers Man should within Six years after the War, denounce his Igboness? Because of the short advantage given by creating this States, we know how Nigeria was configured. We know that the IGBO Man was the majority inhabitant of South-Eastern Nigeria, but we were mindful of the ethnicity of the inhabitants. IF NOT THAT WE WERE MINDFUL OF THE INHABITANTS, PEOPLE IN KADUNA, KANU AND OTHER NORTHERN STATES IN NIGERIA WOULDN’T SEE SOMEBODY FROM PRESENT DAY RIVERS, BAYELSA, AKWA-IBOM AND CROSS-RIVER STATE AND KILL HIM, BY CALLING HIM AN IGBO MAN. Sometimes I wonder what sort of mental Acculturation some of our people have that they don’t reason. If you are indeed Wise, then you must understand what I have said”

Politics / Re: Face To Face With Nnamdi Kanu, The Man Behind Radio Biafra - Sun News by james078: 12:23am On Dec 09, 2015
biafra has failed already? i cry out in pain for my generation.
nnamdi kanu is not the reason why i support the biafra agitation, if not for some setbacks, i would have started the struggle single-handedly.
there are so many reasons to not support the agitation and there are also so many reasons why i should support the agitation.
i am already bleeding from the shock.
if you are not supporting the agitation because of nnamdi's failures go ahead cause i know you have a valid reason for that, but let me tell you biafra agitation is greater than nnamdi kanu.
thank you.
