Imagine the level of industrialization that will start around Nigeria if companies owned by people from other parts are sited in their hometowns;people will no longer come to lagos looking for work like is the case in the developed world.
Lagos state government feeding fat from taxes paid by these companies can't help but brag.like though these companies have nowhere else to go.
Lagos port won't have been this bouyant if the powers that be then had not deliberately killed sapele,warri and onne ports.just imagine how those towns would have grown if their ports were operating all these years.sapele town virtually died after the port was closed!if those ports were operating,goods meant for those areas need not land in lagos but head there straight.now the goods will land in lagos and the businessman or woman will pay another money for haulage to their areas,many of these trucks fall on their side in the process of traveling and block the highways or cause accidents.causing lose to the business people involved.
That's how the powers that be then connived and killed our railway so their friends and business associates floated freighting companies,the railway was cheaper in moving goods.all these affect the ordinary Nigerian,they bear the brunt of it all because the price of the goods will go up.
