Well, nothing is impossible nowadays.
On Sunday, South African George Russel performed a citizen arrest on an allegedly drunk police officer.

Russel noticed the cop, indentified as Constable Nkuleleko Mbanjwa drunk and thereby driving in a confusing way.

He approached the Constable's car, confirmed that he was totally drunk and he removed the car keys before heading to the police station to report what he saw.

On Friday, Mbanjwa appeared in court on charges of driving while under the influence, and reckless and negligent driving. Loop Street Police spokesperson Lieutenant Joey Jeevan said Mbanjwa has also received a notice of intention to suspend him.

The Super Eagles camp in Faro, Portugal is gradually bubbling to life as invited foreign based professionals trickle in. First to arrive the camp of the national team was Holland-based central defender, Kenneth Omeruo.

The lanky former Flying Eagles ace arrived at lunch time on Saturday and took part in the lunch. He was there at the time the Nigerian Ambassador to Portugal, Ambassador Ijeoma Bristol and her husband were addressing the team. He has since jelled with the rest of the team and will take part in Saturday afternoon training. Also in town is Ukraine based hitman, Brown Ideye, who came in on time to join the afternoon training session.

Expected to join in the team also on Saturday night are United States based striker Bright Dike and former Enyimba of Aba hit man Uche Kalu. Camp is now full of activities as the team is billed to travel out to Catalonia, Spain on New Year Day for the international friendly against the Catalan side onJanuary 2.

Born in Tennessee, Besse Cooper moved to Georgia during World War I

The US woman listed as the world's oldest person has died.She was 116.

Besse Cooper died peacefully on Tuesday at a nursing home near Atlanta, Georgia, said her son, Sidney Cooper.

She had recently been ill with a stomach virus, he added.

The Tennessee-born teacher had had her hair set on Tuesday morning and watched a Christmas video, but then suffered breathing problems, said Mr Cooper. She was put on oxygen but died a short while later.

"With her hair fixed it looked like she was ready to go," Mr Cooper told the Associated Press news agency.

Ms Cooper was certified by Guinness World Records as the world's oldest person in January 2011.

The following May, Guinness discovered that a Brazilian woman, Maria Gomes Valentin, was 48 days older, but she died the following month.

Born in Tennessee, Besse Cooper moved to Georgia during World War I to look for work as a teacher.

Her funeral was likely to be held later this week, her son said.

Guinness said Ms Cooper is succeeded as the world's oldest living person by fellow American Dina Manfredini from Iowa, whois 115.

The oldest person ever was French-born Jeanne Calment, who lived to be 122 before dying in 1997.
