The reason he was to be stoned is because he delibrately spoke figuratively making them not understand what he was saying! He never really want them saved!

“Though I have been speaking figuratively, a time is coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will tell you plainly about my Father. John 16:25

With many such parables Jesus spoke the word to them, to the extent that they could understand. He did not tell them anything without using a parable. But privately He explained everything to His own disciples. Mark 4:33-34

He replied, “The knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, ‘though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.’Luke 8:10

All these scriptures you put here doesn't correlate at all, they are all out of context. For you to understand it. Read the whole context when the statement was made, it would become more clearer. The reason they stoned him was also written there clearly.

Well i don't know Abel Damina but one thing i can assure you is that there is no single verse in the Bible where Jesus said "i am God" or "worship me"

The problem you have is You read the Bible just the way English version put it to you.
You need to sit where they sat to understand what they understood. When Jesus said I and God are One in John 10 vs 30, why did the Jews want to stone?

2. Jesus while suffering was accusing himself in another plane of abandoning himself! (Eli Eli Lama sabachthani)

3. "This is my son in whom i'm well pleased" does not mean another lesser version of myself which i sent there!


4. When Jesus was accused of claiming to be God, he once quoted Psalm "You are Elohim (Gods)!" Signifying that Elohim can be used for mere humans too!

5. This concept will make Jesus praying to himself everywhere even putting his head on the floor for himself! Lol.

6. Jesus prayed saying "Our father". He even called "God" his God! Where does a God have another God?

7. If God has a limitation then He stops becoming God! If God becomes dependent then He stops becoming God!

2. That was when Man's Sin was on Jesus, Jesus was 100% Man as though not God and 100% God as though not Man. He was Man so He felt what Man pass through just for Humanity's Sin.

The guy is a bad listener, Dr Abel Damina will never make a claim that He doesn't believe in Heaven. The guy was hearing Something else.

JESUS OUR ADVOCATE (4)

1st John 2:1 My little children, these things write I to you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: Vs 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

This refers to Believers. Jesus is our Advocate with the Father when we sin, so the Holy Ghost knew that sons of God would sin.

Genesis 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: Vs 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

God's communication was in dark speeches to Moses. We will find truths hidden in symbols like the tree, the serpent, the fruit etc. You won't find sin. That means sin was symbolized by the eating of tree of knowledge of good and evil. Life was present there as the tree of life which is symbolic.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Vs 2 The same was in the beginning with God. Vs 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Vs 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

In Jesus is life. In Genesis, there was a mixture of symbols and reality.

Sin entered the world in Genesis 3, but the very first time sin was mentioned in bible lexicon is Genesis 4.

Genesis 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

The word, ‘sin’ in the text above refers to sin offering. Abel just offered an offering before God. Sin was first mentioned when Cain was about to kill his brother.

Why was Cain angry?

Genesis 4:4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: Vs 5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

This is prior to the first manifestation of Sin. Who was he angry at? Was he angry against Abel for offering a good offering?

1st John 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Vs 12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

What works were evil, and what works were righteous?

Hebrews 11:4 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

Abel's work was faith. Cain's work were his works. Abel received God's redemptive promise. Cain came by his own merits.

Faith was based on how they came to God. Abel by faith, Cain by his own merits. Notice that, the sin was present before the murder. In Cain, unbelief presented itself as self-righteousness. In Abel, faith presented itself as righteousness via the works of another. Hatred is a child of self righteousness. The mother of hatred is self righteousness. Self-righteousness is the manifestation of unbelief.

There was self-righteousness because of unbelief. They knew man should not come to God by merit because God covered their parents with offering (animal in Genesis 3). Cain killed Abel. Cain had hatred for the truth.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the demon, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. Vs 45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.In previous verses, Jesus referred to their unbelief. Abel was justified by faith in offering the sacrifice, and Cain was not justified because his sacrifice was in unbelief. Unbelief is the mother of self-righteousness. Sin's first manifestation in Genesis 4 is seen in self-righteousness. Don’t forget that both of them were sinners.

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Vs 13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Vs 14Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

Everyone that exercises faith in the blood is declared righteous. No one can score points with God.

Confession: I have been justified by faith in Christ. I don’t walk in self righteousness. I walk in the righteousness of God by faith.

A father that sends his son to be killed for whatever reason is no good father!

A father that forgives and redeems without blood or killing is the true father!

The Father did not only send his son, The father is the son Himself. God is not Man that is limited to what Man could not do. God became Man, died and rose again.

He didn't die only, He died and rose again. The death offering and sacrifice is not to God, but to pay Man's Sin. What sin demand is death, God demands nothing from Man. God provided the death by Himself because he could do it.

When we ask about Jesus calling himself God, who is asking about revelations? Did Jesus call himself God in front of his people plainly like God did many times in the old testament?

Revelations was allegedly revealed to one isolated John on the island of Patmos in the Aegean sea! John was not an eye witness of Jesus calling himself God!

The problem you have is Yiu read the Bible just the way English version put it to you.
You need to sit where they sat to understand what they understood. When Jesus said I and God are One in John 10 vs 30, why did the Jews want to stone?

THE FATHER'S LOVE IS OUR VICTORY.

Romans 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

The word, “more than conquerors” in this text means we are more than champions or one who has won a battle. The battle over sin has already been won. This verse describes a final victory.

• Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. Vs 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

The Bible calls the devil the accuser of the brethren. He is one who brings opposition against our faith. He does not need to appear to us literally. He rather uses words or wrong information especially from the law. The history of our victory in Christ remains our ever-dependable weapon over his accusations. We are to carry this banner of victory everywhere we go.

• Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; Vs 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

The Father’s love has conquered sin and death for us.

• Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Based on his love for us, he now dwells in us and so we have dominion over sin.

• 1st Corinthians 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? Vs 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. Vs 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

We have an assurance of the resurrection or transformation of our mortal bodies based on his love for us

The father indeed is for us.

Confession: The father’s love is my victory.

God in the old testament was proclaiming everywhere!

Exodus 6:7: "And I will take you for my people, and I will be your God, and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who has brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians."

Deuteronomy 4:35: "To you it was shown that you might know that the Lord is God; there is no other besides him."

Isaiah 45:5-6: "I am the Lord, and there is no other, besides me there is no God; I equip you, though you do not know me, that people may know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none besides me; I am the Lord, and there is no other."

But in the new testament na to hide! God is afraid of his creations!

I wonder how people think!

And as the pastor was busy comparing Allah being the first and the last to Jesus's in revelation, it doesn't even go along with it!

Allah clearly narrated that Jesus called himself a servant of Allah (Qur'an 19:30)

Do you see that you are contradicting yourself, you said Jesus was afraid to publicly declared He is God. He said it in Revelation and you said it doesn't go along with it. What do you want again?

THE FATHER’S LOVE FOR SINNERS

The character of God could be misconstrued if care is not taken in the interpretation of scriptures. He could be erroneously seen as one who never relates with or detests the sinner.

Texts like Proverbs 15 below could if improperly interpreted could further paint God in a wrong light.

• Proverbs 15:8 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

John 1:14, 18,

This wrong impression began to be addressed from the point of the incarnation. God lived in the womb of a sinner for nine months. He was never found inflicting sickness or disease on sinners. He attended their parties (John 2:2) and even had lunch with them (Luke 19:5)

In Luke 9:54 after he was slandered by men, his disciples were infuriated and wanted to call down fire to destroy but Jesus rebuked them sternly.

The word, “rebuke” was the same word he used for when casting out demons.

• Matthew 9:13 But go ye and learn what [that] meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

John 15:13 he called sinner his friends.
Luke 7:36 he even ate with the Pharisees,
In Vs 39 he allowed a sinner to kiss his feet.
Matthew 5 says he is good to all men.
Matthew 20:28 he gave his life as a ransom for sinners.
John 3:16 he so loved sinners. The word ‘so’ means he is indeed loved sinners.

He doesn't love sin, but he never hates the sinner.
• Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

• 1st Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

He loved us even when we were habitual sinners, how much more now that we have come into his love. If he loved Paul who was specifically killing his sons, why can he not love terrorist, gays, swindlers. The money they spend is his, the air they breathe is his, and he’s made salvation available to them free of charge.

He cannot but love his church more. Since he loved me when I did not believe, how much more now that I have believed the gospel.

Confession: I bask in the father’s love for me.
