HealthHow To Free Yourself From Many Diseases And Stay Healthy All The Time. by Jamestaiwo(op): 7:40pm On Sep 02, 2022
How To Free Yourself From Many Diseases and Stay Healthy All The Time.

The Secret to live a long and stay healthy in life lies in blood vessels. If they are healthy and clean there is possibility for you to live even up to 100 years and above and even remain completely agile, strong, active and healthy.

And that is not all, you have the chance of living at least 20 years without pain in the organs or joint pain, and the body will work excellently when you have a clean and healthy blood vessels.

The Quality of the blood circulation determines the wellness of the organs and systems in the body. It is through this process that the oxygen and nutrients are delivered to different internal organs.

In Childhood, adolescence, youth, the blood circulation process is usually optimum as the blood vessels are new, elastic clean and as such the nutrition of the organs is excellent. But as we age, the quality of blood circulation is degraded because our vessels become dirty due to several factors/lifestyle which are detrimental (like smoking, unhealthy eating, poor environment, sedentary lifestyle) as well as natural factors (such as depositing of lipids).

A dirty blood pressure is like a pipe full of rust, the pressure of the water increases and the water tastes very bad and that is exactly what happens when the blood vessels are dirty.

Dirty/blocked vessels is one of the main source of hypertension, when toxic fat, cholesterol and other substances are deposited in/around them ( due to action of micro-RNA ), the pressure increases.

The blood now contains impurities, the vessels is now narrowed and thickened which result to poor blood circulation. This in turn results to changes in all organs and systems of the body.

The whole body suffers and most importantly the organs and systems that are directly connected to the blood circulation are affected - the cardiovascular system.

Men and women who are 30 years old and above that do not cleanse their blood vessels can be 200-400% more likely to have another unwanted health issues.

You definitely don’t want this.

If immediate action is not taking to address this, this impurities will not stop at just hypertension alone but lead to several other complications and diseases such as:

Atherosclerosis:. The vessels stop functioning well: the small vessels are completely clogged, and the main ones contain high deposits of cholesterol.

Health8 Super Foods That Can Help You Lower Your Blood Pressure Easily. by Jamestaiwo(op): 10:19am On Aug 31, 2022
8 Super Foods that can Help You Lower Your Blood Pressure Easily.

As we get older, our bodies go through some major physiological changes, says Nutritional expert Tara Collingwood, co-author of Flat Belly cookbook for Dummies.

Men and women alike are susceptible to bone loss, muscle loss, hormonal changes, and the dreaded middle-age spread.

We see and feel these changes in our achy joints — plus vision impairment, heart complications, weight gain, decreased memory retention, lack of energy— all of which are tied directly to nutrition.

Dr. Marie Bernard, deputy director of the National Institute on Aging, adds that “ a good diet can help get blood pressure under better control, decrease the risk of heart problems and contribute to the prevention of things like diabetes, Hypertension and cancer,” according to AARP

These eight superfoods will help you lower your blood pressure and keep your body performing at its best even if you are over-50

Wild salmon. The American Heart Association recommends eating fish two times a week, particularly fatty fish like salmon.

Fatty fish are higher in omega-3 fatty acids, which fight inflammation and reduce levels of triglycerides in the blood.

In addition, salmon is a complete protein, meaning it contains all the essential amino acids our bodies use for growth, maintenance, and repair.

1. Dark leafy vegetables :  As we get older, our bones become softer, and we need more calcium, says Dr. Bernard.

“That’s something you can get from low-fat dairy and dark leafy green vegetables,” she tells AARP.  Some examples are kale, arugula, broccoli, and spinach.

haddeylium:
Before answering the question, let me give you some Scriptural context.

1. CONTEXT

Christ Jesus said in Mark 13:13:

"And you will be hated by all people on account of my name. But the one who has endured to the end will be saved."
(Similar words are found in Matthew 10:22; 24:13)

He also said in Revelation 2:10:

Prove yourself faithful even to death, and I will give you the crown of life.”

In harmony with this, the apostle Paul by inspiration wrote in 1 Corinthians 9:26, 27:

“I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”

And in capter 10 verse 12 he added:

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”

2. ANSWER

And now, my answer.

I humbly believe that even if we I am the path of salvation, I must to endure to the end, even to death if necessary, in order to be saved and receive the prize of eternal life.

I believe I have to strive to obey God in this race for life, so that I am not disapproved or disqualified somehow.

No human can gain their own salvation, it is Jesus’ death that gains salvation for those who show their faith, and even so, it is a gift from God for those who strive to meet His requirements.

So, if we think think we are standing, we must be careful not to fall

Thank you brother for this.

But if you read contextually about He that endure to the end shall be saved the Verses were talking about those who are persecuted for the Gospel sake, so he said He that endure persecution, shall be saved from it, then He said again, flee that is escape to other place because of Persecution.

The verse was not about Salvation.

Brother Paul in 1 Corinth 9 was talking about Ministry, if you start the reading from Vs 1. He was pointing about the Reward in Ministry.

1 Corinthians 3:15
[15]If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Work here is Ministry, the Work of a MOG can be burned but He himself shall be saved.

Castaway means unapproved, rejected. Brother Paul was taking about Ministry

Once Saved forever Saved

I thought the Bible say when we believe the Gospel we have Everlasting Life and when I searched Everlasting Life, it is unfinishing Life, unending life on Earth according to John 3 vs 15,16.
John 3:15-16
[15]That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
[16]For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Jesus also said in John 10 vs 28-29 that no Man is able to pluck us from Him.
John 10:28-29
[28]And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
[29]My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

I thought the Bible also says The Saver is able to keep us without us falling and prevent us from fault.
Jude 1:24
[24]Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

I thought the Bible even says the Holy Spirit in Us is sealed unto the redemption of our body in Eph 1 vs 13,14 and Eph. 4 vs 30.
Ephesians 1:13-14
[13]In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
[14]Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Ephesians 4:30
[30]And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Also the Bible makes me understand that Salvation is free Gift, I think He didn't Give me for me to keep myself. And the Bible says in Philipp. 1 vs 6 that He that starts the work is able to complete it to the end.

Hebrews 7:25
[25]Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Our Experience or Vision is not the Validation of believer's Life. The Scripture is the validation of our Life.

Why is Once saved forever Saved not generally accepted?

Christianity EtcRe: The Written Word Is Gods Revelation . by Jamestaiwo(op): 5:56am On Aug 29, 2022
Kobojunkie:
1. If you want to go through the letter, go ahead and open a thread and we can both examine each teaching against Jesus Christ's if you want to. undecided

2. Peter did not validate any of Paul's teachings since there is no record in fact reading any of Paul's letters at the time he, Peter, wrote what he did of Paul in his letter. And since the mention of Paul's teaching in Peter's letter is not specific, there is no telling what exactly Peter was in agreement with. undecided

3. Wrong! Most all of the letters attributed to Paul contain at least one doctrine that directly contradicts the very teachings of Jesus Christ. See my suggestion in #1 above if you are up for it. undecided

4. You claim does not change the fact that the contradictions are clear in the letters. undecided

5. Paul did absolutely none of that since his letters contained what seems to amount to about 0.05 % of what are the actual Gospel teachings according to Jesus Christ. undecided

6. See my response in #1, and we can go from there. undecided
Okay let start from there.
Which book of Paul should we start from?
Christianity EtcRe: The Written Word Is Gods Revelation . by Jamestaiwo(op): 9:51pm On Aug 28, 2022
Kobojunkie:
1. Again, many of the teachings found in the letters attributed to Paul directly contradict the teachings of Jesus Christ. This isn't a matter of opinion but a fact which is revealed right there in scripture for any non-blind person to easily observe. So this claim that you know the exact spirit that was inside the one who wrote those contradictory statements is the same Spirit that lived inside Jesus Christ Himself is an opinion of yours and not a fact. undecided

2. There are numerous teachings in those letters attributed to Paul and it is not clear from his letter what teachings Peter in fact commended, so let's stop trying to pretend Peter serves as validation for the lies that are contained in the many letters supposedly written by Paul. According to Jesus Christ, it is by the account of 2 or 3 witnesses that a truth can be established. i.e. when 2 or 3 agree on a thing - a truth - Jesus Christ is there in their midst. The problem here is Peter never actually stated the "truth" supposedly written in paul's letter which he is in agreement with, and as such that decree given by Jesus Christ cannot be reasonably applied in this case. undecided

3. Jesus Christ sent His followers out to teach His Gospel - God's New Covenant Law in the Kingdom of God - to those in the world, not to teach the Old Covenant Law to the people. And this is where many of Paul's teachings conflict with the mission that is Jesus Christ to His followers instead. undecided

4. All you keep harping on is meaningless in the Kingdom of God scope of things. Again, Jesus Christ said those who are His, who love Him, are those who obey His teachings and commandments - John 14 vs 20 - 25 - Those who are His friends are those who do as He commands - John 15 vs 14. He went on to clarify that those who He loves are those who Obey His teachings and commandments - John 15 vs 9 - 11 & John 13 vs 1 . This means your focus on Paul and Peter is meaningless since Jesus Christ did not call on any man to follow the teachings of any other man - Matthew 15 vs 1 - 14 & Mark 7 vs 1 - 13 -, instead, He called on every one of His followers to bow only to His teachings and His commandments, that which is the Gospel and Law in the Kingdom of God. undecided

5. Wrong! Jesus Christ taught figuratively only when He spoke mainly in Parables. You open to Matthew 5 - Matthew 12, and you will rarely find any figurative speech in those lines. Instead, what you will find written are laws/commandments drawn from that which had already been declared in parts of scripture. For instance, when Jesus Christ commanded His own to let their light shine...
...what He meant was that they do as God decrees in Isaiah 58, where the Almighty Himself explains exactly how one can cause the light of God to shine through one.

In the passage of Luke 24 vs 24 - 35, you are told that in order to give an understanding of His teachings to the two disciples, Jesus Christ told them they had to believe all that the prophets had spoken regarding the Messiah to come. Well, in much the same way, you are to go back through the teachings of the Prophets to find the understanding you need of the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ. Most of the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ have their very explanations contained right there in scripture. It all only appears figurative to those who aren't paying attention to what He is in fact saying. undecided
Please I will like to ask, What verses or Chapters in Ephesians contradict Jesus teaching?

Peter was not the Only one that validated Paul teaching.

1 Corinthians 15:3-6
[3]For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
[4]And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
[5]And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
[6]After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

Paul teaching is according to the scripture.
Vs 6 those that were present also validated his teaching.

Romans 16:25-26
[25]Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
[26]But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

Paul teaching is received by Revelation into the Old testament. The Spirit revealed the scripture to Him.

I would rather say Paul took the teaching of Jesus and explains it further, the same Spirit continuing the work.

What Place is Paul teaching contradicting Jesus Christ?

Christianity EtcWhat Bible Teaching Is Not Part 2 by Jamestaiwo(op): 10:15am On Aug 28, 2022
What bible teaching is not Part 2

The teaching of scriptures is the definition of doctrine .
2 Timothy 3:16 KJV
[16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Powered by Hooligan Media
The scriptures refer to what is written .
It’s a fact that these are words inscribed in the pages of the bible .
A book which explains itself .It should be read and understood .

Ephesians 3:3-4 KJV
[3] How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, [4] Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

Powered by Hooligan Media
Written to be read .
Jesus harped on this fact of reading .

Matthew 19:4 KJV
[4] And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,

Powered by Hooligan Media
He said this several times
The term ” read” means to view, mentally capture and appraise words written .
This implies the teacher must read and have his audience read too.

1 Timothy 4:13 KJV
[13] Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

True bible teaching is study .
It’s not waiting at the speakers table or stable for mind numbing, high sounding words called ” revs ”
It’s reasoning with the scriptures ,which is produces understanding .
That said .

Bible teaching / teachers must avoid playing to the gallery .
Using mere oratory to wow the listener .

1 Corinthians 2:1,4 KJV
[1] And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
[4] And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

Scriptures MUST be well explained in very clear and painstaking fashion .
Not a noise making ,soap box theatrics dilly dallying .
Bible teaching is no circus show or magical arts .
This is often applied by heretics who quickly point to results and self – testimonies .

Romans 16:18 KJV
[18] For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

It’s important we mustn’t get in the way of people’s understanding by feeding our audience a ” testimony diet ”
We must stick to what and who the scriptures reveal- Christ!

Romans 16:25 KJV
[25] Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

It’s already laid and founded .

1 Corinthians 3:11 KJV
[11] For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Hence his warning in verse 10,all must take heed to build upon it .
It’s the past time of false teachers to use testimonies and signs to woo its listeners

Matthew 24:24 KJV
[24] For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Signs and wonders accompany the gospel when preached but don’t produce understanding the message .
The teacher must appeal to understanding not emotions of his listener .
Hence the ability of the teacher to refute and present unassailable explanation .

Titus 1:9 KJV
[9] Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

He’s able to convince .
Paul did this in Ephesus .

Acts 19:8-9 KJV
[8] And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.
[9] But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.

The teacher ,Just like Jesus did in the four gospels is making convincing discussions by the way of clear reasoning and explanation .
No esoteric acclamations.
Apollos presents a picture of this too.

Acts 18:24-25 KJV
[24] And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.
[25] This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.

The first and vital ingredient is grasp of scriptures .he must quote copiously the scriptures .
Then diligence in explanation .
Another key element we shall see is ability to receive more information
For he knew ONLY johns baptism even though his message was Christ.
Teaching ministries grow .

Acts 18:26,28 KJV
[26] And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them , and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

They explained more to him.He kept learning

28] For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.

His explanation improved .
But his tool remained scriptures not foreign materials .
The ministry must only be founded upon the written word .
Apollos later became a teacher of re known .

1 Corinthians 3:6 KJV
[6] I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

He’s able to transmit information appropriately via adequate explanation
Remember ,no grey areas.
The teachers aim is to produce maturity .

Colossians 1:28 KJV
[28] Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

His message must never lose its focus .
It must never shift to the speaker but the Word, christ Jesus .

2 Corinthians 4:5 KJV
[5] For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.

Not us but Him.
Not my story but His story alone .
The meal for spiritual development must remain Christ.
Ephesians 4:13-14 KJV
[13] Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
[14] That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Bible teaching isn’t story telling or testimony proclamations .
It’s explaining and reasoning the scriptures to behold Christ .
The speaker must be faithful with this .

1 Corinthians 4:1-2 KJV
[1] Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. [2] Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

He must understand he holds the mystery of God unveiled .
Faithfulness here implies consistency .
He must never change his focus because of his audiences cravings .

2 Timothy 4:3 KJV
[3] For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

He must be faithful to the message .
Paul recognizes this in his instruction to Timothy
2 Timothy 2:2 KJV
[2] And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

The same .

If we only followed the instructions of the apostles ,our explanations of Christ May differ in depth but never in Information,
We won’t have the cacophony of voices abounding today called ” personal revs ”
Scriptures authorize no individual to have a unique or personal revelation ,he might understand in levels but must never should see scriptures away from what is written
QED

(To be continued )
I call you blessed
Jesus is Lord,We win !

cry
Kobojunkie:
1. Recall that in John 14 vs 6, Jesus Christ had informed you that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. undecided
Well, the Spirit of Truth which He sent is the very same Spirit that lived inside of Jesus Christ, the same one that revealed the Truths that Jesus Christ taught to His disciples while He was on earth. So as Jesus Christ explained to you in the context of John 16 vs 4 - 15 to you, the Spirit of Truth, which He would send to those who are His followers, would reveal only that which is of Him, Jesus Christ. undecided

This means, that the Spirit of Truth, the one also known as the Holy Spirit, would never give any message contrary to that already established by Jesus Christ while He was on earth. The Word of God, God's Truth, is eternal and so that which the Spirit of Jesus Christ said would be revealed is expected to never be in violation of the Word of God as established by Truth, Jesus Christ, Himself. undecided

2. You claim the best teaching of Jesus Christ started after Jesus Christ died even though Jesus Christ regarded as foolish those two particular men for not realizing before that point in time the meaning of the message He had taught to them while He was alive? undecided

3. Are you insinuating that since HIs teachings were a mystery to some until after the New Covenant agreement was ratified on the cross, that means all of what Jesus Christ taught in the Gospels, the very Gospel He sent His followers to teach those in the world, is all meaningless then? I ask this because according to Jesus Christ, the continuation of Jesus Christ's teachings are meant to conform to that which He already taught, not conflict with any of the teachings which make up what is the Gospel of the Kingdom of God which was sealed on the cross when His blood was shed and He declared, "It is finished". undecided

4. The book of Revelations is not an epistle but instead a writing based on John's dream/vision. Epistles are letters addressed to particular audiences for particular reasons. The letter to the Jewish believers in the city of Ephesus for example is one such letter that is assumed to have been written by Paul. That letter for instance contains several contradictory messages that to that contained in what is the Gospel of the Kingdom of God as taught by Jesus Christ. And as such, it cannot be stated that the Spirit of Truth, who is meant to give glory only to Jesus Christ(The Truth), is the author of such lies since lies contradict Truth. undecided
1. Thank you for this, but let me tell you this that the teaching of Paul never contradict the teaching of Jesus, because the same Spirit in Jesus was in Paul.

Do you Know even Brother Peter even commend the Teaching of Brother

2 Peter 3:15-16
[15]And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

Brother Peter being the Leader of Early Church commended Brother Paul, because of the Insight God has given to Him. The Teaching of Brother Paul is explanation of Old testament in which if you are not careful with the rules of Bible interpretation, it would be difficult to understand it.

[16]As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Look at Brother Peter, He said some teachings of Brother Paul is hard to be understood. You will observe Paul is the only writer that prayed for His audience when he wrote, unless your eye of understanding is enlightened, you will not understand it.

For Brother Peter to commend brother Paul, it means brother Paul letters didn't contradict what Jesus taught.

2. Jesus called the two disciples fools, because they were slow to understand what Jesus taught them figuratively before He died. But at the same time, that is the Beginning of the 40 Days Bible teaching Jesus started with them. Eventually we see the result in Act, and in the Epistles.

5 Proven Secrets to Reduce Excess Salt Intake To Lower Blood Pressure.

You must have probably heard this several times or warned to reduce the amount of salt in your diet (because of its sodium content) and that is not good for your health.

This is actually critical if you are managing hypertension or trying to prevent it if you have risk factors ( family history, secondary lifestyle, diabetes etc).

Her is what happens when you ear too much salt.

When you eat too much salt, which contains sodium, your body holds extra water to wash the salt from your body.

The added water puts stress on your heart and blood vessels, this may cause blood pressure to rise.

To avoid a spike of blood pressure from eating excess salt, it is mandatory to avoid excess salt intake.

Below are 5 wats to reduce excess salt intake to take control of your blood pressure.

1. Eat whole, unprocessed foods and eat plenty of vegetables and fruits such as grains, beans and legumes, nuts and seeds.

The fundamentals to a heart-healthy eating pattern is to base your diets on whole, minimally-processed foods with plenty of vegetables and fruits.

Unprocessed foods are generally lower in salt than processed foods.

Christianity EtcWhat Bible Teaching Is Not Part 1 by Jamestaiwo(op): 3:27pm On Aug 25, 2022
What bible teaching is not Part 1

Bible teaching is the core reason for Christian fellowship Jesus commands we teach all nations as part of His work in the earth

Matthew 28:19-20 KJV [19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

He mentions teaching twice.
Hence the tradition of the apostles after His ascension

Acts 2:42 KJV [42] And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

They taught from house to house

Acts 20:20 KJV [20] And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,

And in public meetings too.
A fundamental ingredient of leadership in the church is grasp of doctrine.

1 Timothy 4:16 KJV [16] Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

Doctrine doesn't mean rules and regulations but teaching and explanation which can involve instructions.

1 Timothy 4:11 KJV [11] These things command and teach.

Anyone who can't explain mustn't be put in leadership.

1 Timothy 3:2 KJV [2] A bishop ...apt to teach; able to explain.

We must count such as worthy leaders.

1 Timothy 5:17 KJV [17] Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

Teaching simply means to explain.
It's done with the mental comprehension of the audience in mind.
The minister must explain the scriptures. He does this with the scriptures.

A typical example can be found in Luke's account of Jesus.
Luke 24:27 KJV [27] And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

The word "beginning" is an original word for sequential arrangement.
Teaching is orderly.
No rush.
No hurries, no haste.
He took on ALL the pages of scriptures.
He expounded. this means to give meanings.
Not your subjective meaning but the very objective meanings.

Teaching is never mysterious.

It’s usually very clear.

Christianity EtcRe: The Written Word Is Gods Revelation . by Jamestaiwo(op): 3:18pm On Aug 25, 2022
Kobojunkie:
1. Yet much of that written in the letter to the Ephesians directly contradicts that decreed by Jesus Christ. undecided

2. You mean the apostles, not even Jesus Christ, are the yardstick, as far as that which is Truth and that which is not? What you are saying is that Jesus Christ isn't the standard of God's Truth nor is the Spirit of Truth aka the Holy Spirt who happens to be the Spirit of Jesus Christ, but rather the apostles are the standard of God's Truth? undecided
Thank you for what you said but you should have asked as a question.

Have you not read in John 16 vs 12-14
John 16:12-14
[12]I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
This implies that there is a lot Jesus wanted to tell His disciples but they did not have the capacity to bear them, so Jesus didn't said everything before he died,

If you observed very well, He communicated to his disciples and audience in Parables,

[13]Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

The Best Teaching of Jesus Started after He rose from the Death, observe what the disciples said after He rose while He was teaching them
Luke 24:31-32,45
[31]And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
[32]And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
[45]Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

Jesus teachings to them before He died were like Mystery because it is mostly Parable but when He rose, He demystified the mystery into simpler unit that will be able to understand by the Disciples, that is why they uttered those words in Luke 24.

John 16 vs [14]He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
The Continuation of Jesus teachings after He rose is what the Holy Spirit would reveal to the Disciples.

The Epistles now which is the Written word of God by the Holy Spirit through the Apostles is Our Manual for Reading as a Believer, because that is where our identity is revealed.
Epistles is from Romans to Revelation.

If there is any questions, you are free to ask.

Thank you sir

You want to live longer? Ditch your shoes once in a while.

This method is referred to as grounding. A simple act of grounding yourself to the Earth walking barefoot.

One of the secrets of good health in the olden days was that there were no footwear. They walked bare footed.

There are three major advantages.

1. A lot of our vital organs are connected to the sole of our feet. When you walk on rough surfaces, it helps send electrical wave to activate our organs to work better.

Christianity EtcThe Written Word Is Gods Revelation . by Jamestaiwo(op): 2:48pm On Aug 21, 2022
The Written Word is Gods revelation .

The Holy Spirit opens our understand to see what is already written.

This will never contradict the context, grammar, vocabulary and entire contents on the written word.

After Paul prayed for revelation in Ephesians 1:16-23

He had this to say

Ephesians 3:3-4 KJV
[3] How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
4] Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

You read ,you understand.

Any teaching that hadn't been taught by the Apostles is false.

1 Corinthians 3:11 KJV
[11] For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:20 KJV
[20] And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone ;

Christianity is an Historical concept .

It's not subject to the whims of expediency .

Hence Paul warned

Galatians 1:6-9 KJV
[6] I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: [
7] Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. [
8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. [
9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

No amount of angelic visitations or heavenly encounter must deviate from the written word!

2 Corinthians 11:4 KJV
[4] For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him .

Some have claimed new mysteries and dimensions .

Some have claimed to have been to heaven and hell .

Given some warnings to the Church .

Some claimed "God told them the oil is the Holy Spirit in a bottle"

Others have said they received mysteries concerning tithes, end time transfer of wealth

Others about angels..,the list goes on and on.

The Faith mustn't be subjected to this invasion of foreign elements.

Jude 1:3 KJV
[3] Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

The Faith has been delivered once and for all.

Nothing new to be added.

If we must practice anything at all ,Gifts of The Spirit,Healing,Prosperity,Holiness, church discipline ,ordination, giving, suffering ,prayer.., teaching about rapture etc

It must be well written, explained and practiced in the New Testament Church.

God Speaks today...,According to the Scriptures and not to update, review or upset the Written Word!

This Practice of "God told me or an angel said ,or Jesus appeared to me " in doctrinal matters has pioneered cults ,non biblical practices ,and so on and forth.

I am a very unrepentant advocate of the Gifts of the Spirit and the Things of the Spirit.

But according to The written Word.

All things are written.

All God has Done,is doing and will ever Do are contained in the written word.

Jesus is Lord,We Win!

Christianity EtcClapping Of Hands In Worship; Is It Doctrinal Or Not. by Jamestaiwo(op): 10:19pm On Aug 19, 2022
CLAPPING OF HANDS IN WORSHIP; IS IT DOCTRINAL OR NOT.

An Exegesis on "Clapping as A form Of Worship".

Just read carefully.

INTRODUCTION:

There are six Biblical references on the subject of Handclaps in the Old Testament.(Job 27:23; Lam. 2:15; Ps. 47:1; 98:8; Is. 55:12). However, of the six passages, two different meanings are used.

While Job 27:23 and Lam 2:15 use the word Caphaq(saphaq), the rest use the word taqa (taw-ka).

MEANING OF THE WORDS CAPHAQ AND TAQA

Caphaq (pronounced saw-fak')
or saphaq (1 Kings 20:10; Job 27:23; Isaiah 2:6) {saw-fak'}; a primitive root; to clap the hands (in token of compact, derision, grief, indignation, or punishment); by implication of satisfaction, to be enough; by implication of excess, to vomit:--clap, smite, strike, suffice, wallow (Strong's definition)

Saw-fak was a handclap used as a mockery on God

Job 27:23 MEN SHALL CLAP THEIR HANDS AT HIM, and shall hiss him out of his place.

Again, this word was used in chapter 34. It came as a form of rebellion and mockery against God

Car TalkHow To Start A Conversation With Anyone (even Total Strangers): by Jamestaiwo(op): 1:15pm On Aug 17, 2022
How to start a conversation with anyone (even total strangers)

1. Open the gates

Once the first word is out, the flood gates open.

Easy conversation openers are:

- What do you do for fun?
- Tell me more about you?
- Working on anything exciting lately?

Once the conversation is open, follow the next steps to keep it going:

2. Be bold

Avoid small talk, embrace boldness instead.

Ask simple and personal questions:

- Who’s your role model?
- What’s your biggest fear?
- What’s your biggest regret?

You’d be surprised by how people will open up to bold and brave questions.

3. Body Language

Only 7% of your communication consists of words.

The other 93% are nonverbal signals.

Make sure you’re:

- Keeping eye contact
- Keeping an open posture
- Smiling and conveying emotions

4. Unique compliment

People forgot what you say.

But people don’t forget how you made them feel.

Approaching a conversation and dropping a compliment does wonder.

Make sure it comes from a genuine place.

5. Common grounds

Common ground is a topic, opinion, or interest that people can agree about

During a conversation, look for:

- Common interests
- Shared passions
- Commonalities

This will lead smoothly into the next point…

6. Ask for an opinion

Don’t ask for an opinion on a difficult topic.

Ask for an opinion about a general topic that can potentially lead to common grounds:

- What food do you like?
- What music do you like?
- What movies do you like?

7. Be present

Put your full focus on the person you’re talking to.

- No TV
- No phone
- No distractions

Keep eye contact with and follow the conversation.

TL,DR:

1/ Open the gates with a question
2/ Be bold and just ask
3/ Watch your body language
4/ Five them a compliment
5/ Find common grounds
6/ Ask for an opinion
7/ Be present

Christianity EtcWhat Every Believer Must Know(1). by Jamestaiwo(op): 1:07pm On Aug 17, 2022
[img][/img]

WHAT EVERY BELIEVER MUST KNOW(1)

Philemon 1:6 KJV [6] That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

Paul teaches here that the believer must communicate(share) his faith by knowledge .

The word 'acknowledge' here is the Greek word " Epignosis", it originally means an accurate and precise understanding of facts, events, times and persons.
The believer must have this knowledge.
Every good thing in You, In Christ Jesus. The believer is identified in Christ. To know what he has, he looks into Christ.
Not a mere glance or casual view .

James 1:22-25 KJV [22] But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23] For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24] For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25] But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein , he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

He must like the doer of the Word continue to look in the mirror.

This mirror isn't the Law of Moses. Moses's law is sin and death (Romans 8:1-2). It's never had or will ever have liberty.

This mirror is the new covenant in Christ.
Original text quotes it as " Law of perfect liberty". Paul calls it the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus(Romans8 :2).

It has life. He also calls it the Law of Faith(Romans3:27).
It has faith.
This mirror is in Christ. It is Christ Jesus.
He had prayed for the believers in Ephesus about the same kind of knowledge .

Ephesians 1:17 KJV [17] That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
This knowledge is "fact specific".

Ephesians 1:19-21 KJV [19] And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, [20] Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places ,
21] Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

To know accurately and precisely what God did in Christ, three days and three nights.
To know the power therein. To know how the power is available for (to)the believer , To know this as a fact-Christ was raised and made to sit far above, without any further "above".

This is the glory of His inheritance in the Saints. Saints refer to believers.

Furthermore, The believer will see himself. Ephesians 1:22-23 KJV [22] And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, [23] Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
All things done to Christ were( are) given to His body, The Church.

Thus by identification, the believer is in view here.
He teaches further in the next chapter .

Ephesians 2:5-6 KJV [5] Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are savedwink
6] And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

He raised us from sins' doldrums into Life. It's not a process. It's an instant fact. The dead are not raised in stages.

We thus stepped out of death to Life. Just like Christ. We are now where He is. Some still sing " I am going higher. yet higher, into the presence of God" They sound ignorant.

There is no further height here. Others, sing "we are going up to the high places to tear the devil's kingdom down".

In Christ, the devil is down ,the believer is seated above. If we had taken to Paul's admonition to Philemon ,we would have departed from such low level expectation and see what Christ has done.
Done for us.

Done to Us. Done in Us. What the believer has is in Christ. Who he is ,is in Christ. Where he is, is in Christ.

Blessed? I acknowledge I am in Christ, All that's in Christ is mine.

Have a blessed week ahead ,Jesus is Lord, We win!
