I have observed that fast fingers don’t check destination. You could instantly tell they don’t own these vehicles and they are willing to take it to death traps just to make crumbs.
Anyone who owns a vehicle will always check destination before accepting any trip because their car is precious to them. |

Biodun1929: "One thing we should bear in mind is, is not only fuel money you should be concerned about, whatever you end the day with as profit, you should factor in maintenance.."
Exactly. I learnt this the hard way when I first started this hustle. I was taking every trip Bolt threw my way... I was making money alright, but I was spending a lot on repairs. Before I know, alternator don spoil...next week, shaft leg break...I saw my car deteriorating before my very eyes. I had to purse and think...is this system worth it.
What pays me now is to be selective of where I go and the trips i acceot. With this mode of operation, I get to keep more of what I make, instead of making and spending 3/4 on repairs. I wish I had realized this mode earlier. Anyway, to each his own. I learnt this in one week of starting the hustle. Some areas like Ikotun have death traps as streets. Bolt thinking they will send me a blind trip are just wasting their time cos I won’t try it. |

Lots of fast fingers hustling hard. |

If 4k is the price to drive from Allen to Shomolu, then I am better off investing in Keke. Even a northerner driving keke at opebi won’t take that price to shomolu. |

Lekki phase 1, Ikoyi, VI and Ikeja is the worst places to look for rider. Too many drivers in these places causing ridiculous prices. |

Jegheter: Honestly I feel for folks on remittance. This business favours u if u don't have that kinda pressure. But once that pressure they u go miscalculate do rubbish trip just to meet up Until it’s time to fix car issue and they realize that the savings from those rubbish prices can’t fix their car and they come online to look for loan. Some people are destined to be poor. |

How do you guys know where destination is on bolt. Not even time to complete the journey or distance shows. That is like accepting blindly. |

JoaoPedro: So Ehailing drivers are now being targeted by scammers. I got a request around Wuse, the rider sent me a message that he wanted me to pickup 5 bottles of Hennessy from the supposed manager of the village chief restaurant and bar. He also asked that I help him give the manager 5k and that he would refund me the 5k plus the 3,500 for the trip=12,000 (I don’t know the maths that he did that he used to arrive at 12k, he was probably trying to prey on my greed)
He forwarded me the “managers” number and I called him when I got there. When I mentioned coming to collect the drinks for the “Army man” that booked me, he acknowledged and said he wasn’t on ground but that he will call his staff to bring the drinks for me. He now brought up the 5k that the “army man” was supposed to give him, I told him that I was aware and that I was going to transfer the money for him. He told me to send him a message on WhatsApp so he could forward his account number, I have our conversation attached below. The level people go to scam people of change is shocking. They even expose themselves to be tracked while looking for feeding money |

Just to wade in, I realized traffic burns fuel and stresses one’s mental health. I try to avoid traffics but I avoid ridiculous prices twice more. I would go to a place that has 50% surge, if ETA is twice what it should be.
One thing I vowed never to try is to belittle myself by accepting ridiculous fare price. I would rather blow 70km empty. |

Dabadwela: Why you nor ask this for December
January is the realization month ,eye clearer for dis biz
That's why December na for better savings to cover months like this I am happy with the hustle so far. My dashboard is very much comparable to the OGs here considering that I didn’t even know how to drive 3 to 4 months ago. |

Vela01: Lol, that's why one guy said if you're starting E-hailing in Nov/Dec, and it's doing you like you should quit your 9-5, it may be your village people advising you😂.
While January is a bit slow, I believe with proper calculation, at all all, you go still dey smile. Like I said, anything wey make me dey save 20k in a day, guide like 10k for home sorting, I dey alright.
If price low on Indrive, check bolt and Uber. That's the logic. Na on this thread I learnt, no loyalty in E-hailing na the one wey pay you you go do, last last, dey fit block you out anytime.
God bless ur hustle. A day I was certain it will be my worst day turned to out miraculously well. From praying for 25k to making 65k profit with same fuel. I stuck with uber mostly. |

Today’s prices on Indrive seems very funny on Indrive on the island. Some are booking 200 per KM. I wonder how these drivers accepting this ridiculous rides cope. |

This dude has messed up my AC system. The compressor is now permanently engaged when the car on is on even though AC is off.
He wants to put a thermostat which makes me wonder what correlation they have. |

Oyetech at shasha This guy decided to run the compressor wire directly when I told him to just make the proper wiring firm so it will stop disengaging when I drive long on bad roads. Now the compressor isn’t picking and I spent the whole of yesterday in his workshop. The electrician he called said the compressor needs a thermostat to work. Omoo!!! My car is still parked there and hopes of going to work today looks thin. |

Gentlelife50: If it's making noise it means the compressor don pack up, it's grinding and you will need to revamp the system. You may even need a new compressor and condenser for the AC to work again. The noise is not from the compressor. It’s from the belt. |

Brothers, who has the number of a good AC tech. The quack I have used thus far is foolish to say the least. Everytime he touches my compressor area, the serpentine belt makes the car make noise and after yesterday, the noise became very loud and I can’t go to work with it.
I am trying to detect where my gas is leaking from. |
