U guys know I no dey for chochocho. I will buy a cheap car and install CNG next week.
When I advocate for d business I show evidence. That time many people said it was photoshop.

Secondly, I am not arguing if CNG makes more money than fuel, thats a no-brainer, my point is as a people, we rather adjust than resist. The continuous nose diving of the prices will eventually make even CNG users to start complaining very soon.

I use CNG and what Nelo is saying annoys me. I installed CNG for myself, not for the app to reduce price. All the Danfo and Keke and CNG, do they care about if they will make profit if they carry the old price? They didn’t install to please any passenger.

What is bad is bad regardless o… I doubt he understands the insane ratio of distance/price if per km is 250. That’s like traveling form Ajah to Ikorodu for 15k. Imagine if 3 passengers enter, they will average 5k for that trip.

Driver will squeeze face all through the journey.

I don't even want to start discussing here cause some believe they know it all. Just imagine asking if uve made d cng in more than 4months u didn't even ask in 1 months be there and assume u r d only useful driver in the whole of e hailing .

Men wey install 65L made it back in weeks u dey talk months even me wey be lazy driver I know how long before I save am back.

Another sad truth is with cng u can actually still survive cause imagine making almost times 6 on basic trips I mean trips of 300naira/km. So unless u are not a serious driver u will be fine esp if u r driving for survival. Just mute ur soul and be picking all manner of rubbish but u go see money with cng only oooo...

This assumption is misleading. If you pick nonsense trips with 65 L, you risk exhausting the gas at 20k net and you go and queue for insane number of hours and call it a day after few trips.

The number of hours and frustration that comes with getting gas isn’t spoken about enough.

That is the car I use. CNG doesn’t do anything to a car other than expose weakness in your car. My car has no weakness and I can’t the difference between using fuel or CNG. Everything looks the same.

I think say everybody don convert with the level of queue at the gas station these days.

Their fooolishness will catch up with them. One thing about a car is that it will surely test your savings. This is when you start seeing desperate drivers looking for where to borrow money and fix their cars, then go on even more ridiculous trips in attempt to pay.

A driver who has at least 2 million in savings won’t be accepting such ridiculous trips. It’s all those who daily survival depends on their car being on the road each day.

You see them wear dirty clothes and eating junk food all the time. That’s the life they have chosen for themselves. Poverty sometimes is a subconscious decision while success comes from intention.

Matured men should be able to air their different opinion without exchanging insults.

Those who start trading insult are perhaps too emotional to understand the opposing thought from a logical perspective.

What happened is a case of an opportunistic rider meeting a criminal driver. A ride inputs a poor price and refuses to negotiate with anyone. A desperate driver accepts, he mistakenly overpaid a desperate man and he expects a different outcome. He is very unserious.

Desperation made him (the driver) accept the ride to keep it moving, now he believes a moving man has met his luck.

The rider’s cheapness earned him what he deserved — a desperate driver who turns out to be a thief.

The installer didn’t tune it perfectly with his laptop. My car lagged under AC load when my installer wanted to test run after installation. He quickly corrected it and I have no issues whatsoever.

Abeg my bosses, who knows an AC expert that can trace leakage. Leakage once made me change all my AC components and now it’s back again.

Nothing u will tell me. Yaba is d worst place to be on Indrive. Everybody uses Indrive in Yaba, u hardly get bolt trips if u enter yaba. Like I said asides d few good trips that can pop up, d majority of trips on Indrive are trash. Tell me how often u get more than 10k trip.
Maybe Bariga, yes, because that's a dead zone, nobody wants to drive long distance to pickup, enter traffic and bad roads so they may offer higher price sometimes.

Saying nobody earns 50k net daily is a very very naive statement to make. What will u give me if I show u my earnings for the last three weeks? I am not talking about other people who work more than me o.

It will be interesting to see if you make these money using income from strictly bolt, no offline trips and also number of working hours.

Let’s calculation how much fuel used to net such an amount.

It will go a long way in helping struggling drivers.

u have a point but after u leave that zone do u drive back or be looking for another dead zone again? Thats not business mehn.
U will find those lucky trips ones in a while but it's not sustainable except u just drive for fun and not for any monetary target.
I have used Indrive and it's not compatible with me and my earnings, I have challenged anybody using Indrive to show me Profit (after fuel and commission of 50k daily)
Pope and Glithronix are grandfather's in Indrive but they no fit. But babies in Bolt or a combination of both Apps can do this without stress.

No serious high earner on Indrive, na prayer and fasting u go dey do daily to get trips and meet your target. Some days will be good but some days will be very very bad. It's not like that on Bolt, everyday is a good day, provided u can put in d hours

Areas like Yaba, Shomolu, Ajao, Bariga etc are not dead zones. Short trips in this areas pay better on indrive.

No one can make 50k driving on any platform now. Let’s be realistic, your gross earning on a trip on bolt is a little less than what an average negotiator gets on indrive. Currently, uber consistently offers me less than what I will get on a trip if I did it on indrive. Indrive is only bad in areas where there are too many drivers.

Go to those areas I mentioned and analyse the prices you see carefully.

Bolt without their campaigns sometimes is such a struggle.

I feel those campaigns are even our money sef - Like 9 rides for 9k - I feel that's part of the high commission we pay to Bolt that they decide to give back a few times a month, with high requirements. I still remember the one of 11k for 13 rides. I been wan faint that day.

Without those campaigns, it's a struggle for me on the island with all these N2k trips. I even saw one today for N1.8k, I was shocked. Though it was a short trip, but still man, chai.

Bought 18k fuel today and could barely gross 36k

Bought 12k fuel yesterday and in trying to gross 24k, my fuel finished, lol. Though I did run some personal errands, but still. Thank God i was near a filling station when the car shut down.

No surge recently on the island, what gives? Guess too many cars here, awon lagride, bolt, uber, cabzero...

Sometimes you get generous tippers that make your day worth it. Like this Angel guy that paid 15k to wait for a little bit. Excellent income while car is shutdown and petrol consumption is zero.

Bolt needs to increase prices slightly men and drop their commission.

But it seems they will never, ever, ever drop that commission.

I was just looking at my monthly statement on Bolt and noticing how much I pay in commission. Like you'd see 300k and I know fuel would probably have been like 150k, so net for me would be like 150k, yet YOU'D SEE LIKE 80K BOLT COMMISSION, CHAI.

I feel like a slave sometimes, so I get 150k with all the suffering and they get 80k for doing almost nothing WTF?

Some advise bro, stop chasing promos and if possible, stop working for Bolt. Buying fuel at this current price to do bolt is counter productive.

Use this strategy instead, buy 15k fuel and play the patient game on indrive. Only go on trips that you are making a killing from. Stay in busy places that is not so easy for drivers to navigate 3km for pick up. These are places you can get really high prices for very short distance on indrive. With other apps, there’s a price cap but on indrive, there’s not. For example, you can do 1,800 per km for short trip in Ajao estate. In fact, you if are there during hotel check out time, you will understand better.

I once carried a lady for 950 meters for 3500. In no app will that be possible except indrive.

You provide all running cost in the business and you should move at your own price.

I just realized that fuel price masked the issue of labour put into the job of driving one from point A to B.

Even if my car uses water, there are some rides not worth the effort. One rider was begging me to carry her at a certain amount, I told her I can’t even collect what she’s offering even if I used her personal car to take her there.

Two of the coils has nearly pulled. I have been managing it for months. 😁😁😁

My car vibrates when AC is on at idle. It makes me uncomfortable in traffic. The RPM even dropped to zero twice and car went off.

What could be the cause of this? Two of my coils is already weak. I no know if na him be the culprit.
