Nigerian is the most corrupt country at the moment In the recent list released.

Nigeria, the most populated country in Africa, is perceived to be the most corrupt among 60 countries evaluated, according to data from the 2016 Best Countries rankings. The rankings are a characterization of 60 countries based on a survey of more than 16,000 people from four regions.

In the survey, respondents answered how closely they related each of the 60 countries to the term “corrupt.” Respondents were given no further specifications of the term, so interpretation of the word “corrupt” was left to survey respondents.

Russia, seen as the second-most powerful country in the world, is also seen as the sixth most corrupt.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, Colombia – a country synonymous with illegal drug kingpins like Pablo Escobar – gives Nigeria a run for its money as the second most corrupt country, based on perception.

In a short interview with Sunday Scoops, Femi Adebayo who rarely speaks about his divorce to his first wife, spoke about it saying his wife never supported his career and one thing men should learn is to marry someone who understands them. He however spoke about getting married to another woman after 7 years saying it has been heaven on earth for him.

On his young marriage he said; “I don’t like talking about my marriage because I have the right to my privacy. Even though I am a celebrity, and lots of people always want to know what’s going on with me, my fans understand why I have decided to shield my wife from public glare. But I can tell you that I am really enjoying my marriage and it is pure bliss. I was without a wife for seven years and you know what that means for a man, but now, I am happy that I made the right decision,” he said with a glow on his face.

Giving a hint into what led to the demise of his first marriage, he also said, “When it comes to marriage, it is important to be with someone who understands you and accepts you totally. My first wife was uncomfortable with my profession as an actor, but that is what I love doing.

Acting gives me joy and I will continue doing it as long as I can. I cannot imagine myself doing anything else without being miserable. I studied Law but I am not practicing it and that should tell you that I am following my passion.”

A woman collected the blood from her menstrual cycle for four months to make a painting
Artist Timi Pali wanted to make an image which represents the importance and fragility of motherhood.
She used tampons to collect her blood and her fingers to paint the matter onto four individual
canvases which were eventually placed together.

She told Mirror magazine,
“The focus is not on the blood, but the work has its message because of the menstrual flow. One drop of experiment and I realise the beauty of the pain, the value of the period, fertilising my whole being.
“The periodic elimination of my ovum with my menstrual flow inspired me to give birth to something which has a biological end, and to create the start of the end.”

The first female elite athlete to cross the finish line in Saturday’s 2nd Access Bank Lagos City Marathon, Rhoda Jepkhorir of Kenya, said she would not hesitate to marry a Nigerian if approached.


Jepkhorir said at the finish point that she would not hesitate due to the kind nature of Nigerians.

“If a Nigerian man should ask for my hand in marriage, I will marry him because Nigerians are nice people.
“Nationality is no barrier, so far he is committed and caring, I will have no option,’’ she said.

She also said that she loved watching the duo of Nigerian actors, Aki and Pawpaw, saying that she was so attached to Nigeria.

“Aki and Pawpaw are my best actors in Nigeria, I have so much love for the Nigerian movie industry,’’ the runner said.

The athlete, who is visiting Nigeria for the first time, said that winning the race was a dream come through for her.

“The race has given me the opportunity to come to my dream country, I will come over and over again,’’ she said.
