It is no news that the South East and Enugu State in particular have had a reasonable share in the activities of bad elements - bandits, k!dnappers, unknown-gun-men, armed robbers, Fulani herdsmen etc. The activities of these elements have reduced the freedom of movement, association and have further ignited fears that made some schools in the state to shutdown. At worst, it appears the level of security in the state is reducing drastically. The people of Enugu State have lost loved ones, business associates, neighbors, colleagues etc, due to insecurity.

While all these happen, some women in Enugu State are more concerned with the lifestyles of other women, whom they claimed, put their marriages at the edge. This is not to endorse prostitution or any activities that have its appearance. However, it is a misplaced priority for these women to leave their homes, take to the street and inform their target audience that the only thing that worries them is the tendency of their activities putting their marriages at the risk of collapse.

Funny how those women don't even know that amongst them, there could be one or more pr@stitut€s. They don't carry identity 🆔

These women should use their gender advantage to call the attention of Enugu State government to the activities of bandits, k! dnappers, unknown gun men, Fulani herdsmen etc in the State. They should also draw the attention of the Enugu State government to lack of water, good roads, electricity, job opportunities etc in the state. These are the responsibilities of governments. Keeping their marriages is their responsibility and not the government's.

Roman Catholic church pioneer,
Pope Francis and the heads of protestant places of worship in Britain and Scotland have condemned the criminalisation of homosexuality, expressing those with "gay propensities" ought to be invited by their chapels.

Diocese supervisor Justin Welby and Iain Greenshields, Arbitrator of the Overall Gathering of the Congregation of Scotland, made a trip with the Pope to South Sudan where they mutually called for harmony in the conflict torn country.

Last month the Congregation of Britain said it would decline to permit same-sex couples to be hitched in its places of worship.

Communicating his help, Dr Greenshields alluded to the Good book, saying: "There is no place in the four Stories of good news that I see something besides Jesus communicating affection to whoever he meets, and as Christians that is the main articulation that we can provide for any person in any situation".

During the news meeting Pope Francis rehashed his view that the Catholic Church can't allow holy marriage of same-sex couples.

However, he said he upheld purported common association regulation, and focused on that regulations prohibiting homosexuality were "an issue that can't be overlooked".

He proposed that 50 nations condemn LGBT individuals "somehow", and around 10 have regulations conveying capital punishment.

Right now 66 UN part states condemn consensual same-sex relations, as per ILGA World - the Global Lesbian, Gay, Sexually open, Trans and Intersex Affiliation.

"There's something off about this. People with gay inclinations are offspring of God," said the Pope.

"God loves them. God goes with them... censuring an individual like this is a wrongdoing."

As part of its donation towards believable general choices that would throw up believable leadership in the country in the forthcoming general elections, Igbo Elders Consultative Forum, has initiated intercessory prayers while prompting all suckers of the country irrespective of their lineage and creed, to join in the sweats.

The forum in a statement Tuesday, by former Governor of Anambra State, Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife; and the Leader of Ark Liaisons of New Nigeria, Evangelist Iwuchukwu Ezenwafor, prompted Nigerians to engage in ferocious intercessory prayers for the country as the pates draw near.

In the statement titled ” Emergence of a New Nigeria Through Effectual Intercession ”, the forum declared that Nigeria demanded godly intervention to be suitable to conduct a successful and believable 2023 general choices.

The forum supplicated that “ the generality of the electorates shall be redundant sensitively inspired with bent interest to act as trolls over the general operations of the electoral arbiter, the INEC, to insure that our votes shall inclusively count. ”

It declared that whereas the presence of law enforcement agents would, as usual be necessary, “ they are bound to perform above board with the necessary professional touch according to the tenets of global stylish practices without fear or favour ”.

Other affirmations of the forum include “ that an atmosphere of absolute freedom and tranquility shall prevail in the course of the voting exercises devoid of importunity, intimidation, trouble and persuading of any kind enabling individual free- voting opinions; and that INEC shall give a position playing ground for all parties. ”

The statement read in part ” That there shall be a distinct, clear-cut and profound electoral palm in each optional office by the veritably stylish seeker approved by God and courteously respectable to the generality of Nigerians ”.

“ That the would be victors in all the available electoral services across board shall not only reflect the common will of the millions but shall be the right crop of the dream quality leaders who shall form the ideal governments that would maintain close connection with the led, feeling their palpitation and advancing their listening cognizance to the jones
and bourns of ordinary Nigerians ”.

Igbo Elders Consultative Forum reminded choosers not to be ignorant of the counteraccusations of their choices as they go to the pates.
” We don't need to overemphasize the absolute fact that while one may out of his, her or their volunteer as free moral agents, choose to negate any all of the forenamed affirmations for provincial and selfish interests, one should verily take note that while he, she or as a party may feel to have his, her or their way temporarily; he, she or they can no way avoid the awful hypercritical consequences then, and henceforth eternal misery.”

He appealed to Nigerians to endure the pains emanating from difficulties in getting the recently redesigned Naira notes from fiscal institutions.
The governor who made the appeal on Friday during a press conference in Lagos said the pain is temporary, stressing that cash will be available in no distant time.

He said the leadership of the apex bank had appealed to marketable banks to manage the situation duly while the cash circulates.

He said, “ On the call by people to move the deadline by one further time or if we're open to farther extension of the deadline. I would say no.

“ I ’m sure that people are going to say that only last week Tuesday, I said no, but I want to say unfortunately again, this time, we won't be looking at an extension of deadlines.

“ We do see that there will be some flash or temporary pains. But I'll appeal, we're soliciting, we're on our knees soliciting people to please show understanding they should be calm ”.
