Some said they used up to 2 weeks to process their documents at the two ministries. Thanks. And again, aside from my degree certificate, transcript, and proof of English proficiency, are there other necessary documents that would need certification since I'm applying for masters? |

Does that mean someone in Abuja can do it for me? I'm thinking of going to Abuja, but i don't know if I should contact or apply via the ministry first before going to Abuja. |

lextube: Toh, when you come, you will see for yourself. I have visited 3 European countries since I came to Austria, and I have barely stayed for up to 5months. Secondly, it is very possible that your friend may have graduated, and have gotten a job in the IT sector. In my university, there is a Yoruba man who is a lecturer, and he teaches a science-based course. I have also met an Igbo man who is a Doctor at a Hospital in Vienna. However, the guy is very fluent in German. He almost speaks it like a native. I also know that some full-time IT jobs don't require someone to know how to speak German. However, I can assure you that it is almost impossible for a student coming from a third-world country like Nigeria to get a student job in the IT sector. Your friend too might be giving you bobo just so that you don't look at him with one kind eye.
If you want life to be easy for you, learn the German language. If you can learn it to B1 level, Super! Otherwise, try and learn it to A2 level, and come with enough funds to last you for up to 4 months. E get why I talk am. If you don't have money, don't expect to land in Austria and get a job immediately, except if you're lucky to get a black job. These people and nobody cares about you here. Don't expect life to be rosy for you in your first 3months. Inspiring write up. Please, I'm seeking for admission in Austrian Universities, are there schools that waivers IELTS for Nigerian students in Austria? And also, how did you go about authenticating your certificates here in Nigeria. I will appreciate your response. |

Familymatterss: I moved into a new apartment early last year, and I've enjoyed the change of scenery.
There's this single lady in the compound, likely to be in her late 20s, she is beautiful and attractive. I'm very much interested in her, but I'm concerned about being rejected and the awkwardness of seeing her regularly if she turns me down. I also worry about how it might affect our interactions with other neighbors if she were to share that I approached her with other neighbors.
Should I take the risk and ask her out, or should I respect the boundaries of our neighborly relationship? If you think I should pursue her, what's the best way to approach her, considering I have her contact from our WhatsApp group? Don't ask her out, what you want is sex. Just keep getting close to her until she feels comfortable, but don't appear needy. Give it time and be patient, depending on the kind of person she is.. you will know if you stand a chance or not. Do not go all in, it may not end well. What I mean by all in is asking her out, she may not like it. |

lokoventurex1: Why should my friend be giving me bobo about it? He has never said Austria is an heaven on Earth country. He's still a student. This month makes him one year there. Thank God you know Austria Masters takes two years. This is his third job. He's in Salzburg. He was coming from a Customer Support role in the same Austria you said it is almost impossible for a student to get a role. Why didn't you talk about the area wherw i said Austria paid two month Salary in June and November, which makes it 14 times in a calendar year. Do you even know they pay children some form of money once the documentation is fine. Are you telling me you are not working too ? As very low as travelling to some European countries could be, you must have expended some costs. Was it the same money you brought from Nigeria you are still using?
Tell me the country in Eroupe you can have masters almost as free as Austria. It is common sense for one to prepare for the worse when migrating to a new country as you have said though, but you guys should tell people the good side of the country, not discouraging people. I have just read where someone that has gotten date for legalisation is now weak to go ahead.
I repeat my friend is still a student and his wife has joined him. Don't forget Austria is not UK or USA or Canada, but could be a step towards greatness. Good response. Please are you still into going to Austria? I want to apply to Germany or Austria, but I don't know which is cumbersome or the one that I can still apply for and leave this year? |

helinues: India and Israel, they always trespass because they are regarded as top countries which can't be questioned.
India started the oppression in Kashmir But what I don't really understand is why Pakistan is hitting Indian military just because India struck a terrorist camp in Pakistan. If Boko Haram attacks Cameroonese and kills them, then Cameroon retaliates by bombing their camps in sambisa forest, Nigeria would start attacking Cameroonese military? At that point, it becomes a state sponsored terrorism. I'm not the type that buys into the idea that Muslims are terrorists, but the track record is too fishy. Pakistan can do better. |

Politics › Re: BREAKING: Fubara Meets Nyesom Wike, Went With Some Governors - Ndukwe by Jandminded: 4:50pm On Apr 30, 2025 |
SmartEnergyng: How? Let’s be honest—Wike still holds the steering wheel.
He commands the loyalty of the majority of the House of Assembly—both at the state and federal level. He doesn’t just influence the game in Rivers politics—he wrote the playbook and owns the whistle.
When we speak of political relevance in Rivers State, we’re not referring to the TV-station-hopping Ijaw “activists” chasing airtime like breadcrumbs, or the procession of fatigued elders parading borrowed wisdom and expired influence. No—we’re talking about the real political machinery. And Wike still oils it.
Now, as for Fubara, let’s call a spade what it is:
A political neophyte who mistook accidental elevation for earned ascendancy.
He didn’t count the cost before declaring war. He rushed headlong into battle with nothing but hope and a thin veil of popularity—a prince who drew his sword before building his army.
He is, in truth, a man who tried to leap without learning how to land. He forgot that in politics, survival isn’t about passion—it’s about arithmetic and patience.
He confused defiance for strategy—and that’s the first sign of political immaturity. You are right. Fubara was too fast to wage war against Wike without building his own political army. He could have allowed whatever oppression he's facing until he widens his political influence. But Fubara didn't start this war, it was more of Self-defense. Wike was too fast in his attempt to impeach him even when he was still answering to Wike in Abuja. He's the Executive Governor of Rivers State, and you wouldn't expect him to sit and watch Wike remove him without fighting back? He didn't even fight Wike, he was only fighting to keep his Governorship. Fubara has the people, and Wike will lose out eventually, unless Fubara deliberately agrees unconditionally to his terms. |

adenigga: Verb past participle of be. All the fries have been eaten./b]
[b]Noun being
A living creature. ▼ show The state or fact of existence, consciousness, or life, or something in such a state. ▼ show (philosophy) That which has actuality (materially or in concept). (philosophy) One's basic nature, or the qualities thereof; essence or personality.
Please, can you juxtapose the two words and draw your conclusion objectively. Being is not just about life or form of existence. "Being" is the present participle used in continuous tenses (like present continuous) People are being slaughtered, This means it's happening now, continuously. "Been" is the past participle, typically used with "have/has" People have been slaughtered, This means it happened in the past and may still be relevant now. So you are wrong, the original guy is correct. I wonder why Been and Being is confusing many people when they don't even sound alike. And I'm sure if they ask you to pronounce "Been", you will pronounce it as "Being" just to sooth your hearing. Been is pronounced as "Bin" Being is pronounced as "Biyin" Now read it aloud to yourself and tell me which is correct. "People are been(bin) slaughtered" "People are being(Biyin) Slaughtered" |
