Hello, I use ARM and as at today, their rate is 17.2% as displayed. I have deposited and made a withdrawal too. I would say they are pretty much ok, nothing crazy in terms of deposits and withdrawal but with most systems in Nigeria, leave room for minor variations so that your expectations are managed. Thanks alot morikee: |
Ok this makes sense, thank you. Please is it advisable to buy from a third party or from their website? I asked this because it is slated on their websites that they have authorized dealers (TD Africa) and after checking them out, even the said company still alludes to having other companies they sell through......... Sorry for asking too many questions pls. morikee: |
Thank you so much, I will go for the mini then because I was initially thinking, going by the word mini, it connotes the lower version (in terms of coverage) and considering that its a 5 bedroom duplex, the connectivity may be impaired in some areas within the house. I am grateful, thanks.[ johnnyholtby: |
Thank you, I am grateful sir quote author=morikee post=138466428] Even the Mini will work for you
|
Thank you for the question o, I never knew that there are two versions of it. I want it for a single family unit, tvs, playstation, phones and laptops, so I guess that would mean i need the standard version? I am in Lagos, around Gowon Estate, Egbeda. Keepinmahcul: |

Good evening to you all. I am about to but starlink, my address is covered when I imputed my address on their website, and it says I should pay 32k advance, please my question is this, how long does it take to get it? Also, would they be sending it to my house or there is a pick up location? Please kindly help with this information. I am grateful. |
Like which one(s) pls? Odunharry: |
Lol, this is really funny.........So lets crunch and simulate this, 10% monthly comes to 120% annually, which invariably means that not only will they take the entire interest accrued for the entire year which is 100%, they will potentially take the outstanding 20% from the capital in furtherance of that regulation of 10% monthly. It is 10% yearly and its pro rated based on the tenor Risingcash94: |
Good morning good people, please I need your input on two things. Firstly, I have been getting error messages on the TLS appointment website for Frence visa :"you have been temporarily blocked to prevent unauthorized use", please is there a solution to this? Secondly, does anyone know the current date for Lagos? I am a frequent traveller, I got a 90 day multiple entry Schengen Visa which I used in July 2025 and the said visa is set to expire in two days (26th of October, 2025), please does this fact have any bearing on date availability? Thank you in advance, God bless you all. |
It is a new product so I am not sure if it is on your app. You can simply walk into any branch of Access Bank and tell them you want to invest in their new Money Market and fixed instruments. It operates like fixed deposit. IYGEAL: |
It is neither here or there, at the moment Access Bank offers between 18%-20% on fixed deposit (Money Market) ranging from 30 to 365 days kushy: |
Please which of the mutual fund managers is the best? |
Please what particular reason(s) did they give you as to why you shouldn't invest in TB? Also the personal investment scheme they offered you, does it yield more than TB? Thanks iamL: |
Thank you, God bless you. freeman67: |
Thank you for the response. I asked for the certificate but they only gave me a confirmation note on their letterhead. So I got confused, I was wondering if that was a the norm or I was supposed to get an actual certificate. freeman67: |
Hello, hope you all are doing good? Please after investing in Treasury Bills via the primary market, do you get a certificate or just a bank confirmation of the purchase of the treasury bills? Thank you in advance. |
You have nothing to be worried about, the average time of response is between 7-18 working days after submission. The embassy operate a non-interview system and in the unlikely event that they require additional information, I am sure a week of inaction from your end (even tho unadvised) wouldn't vitiate your application. You can use Wakanow. After you do the booking, choose the transfer option not the card option when you get to the payment stage, that makes them to send the booking details to your mail which contains the flight itinerary and the payment instruction. Print the part that highlights the flight itinerary only, containing the arrival and departure dates, this suffices. The whole point is to get a drift of your proposed traveling schedule as they aren't expecting any reasonable person to buy a ticket for a visa application with an uncertain/ unpredictable outcome. This was what we did and we got 3 months approved as first time schengen applicants.......All the best quote author=maziemeka2024 post=135369052]Hello house. Please how do I book a temporary flight that can be used or do I have to book an actual flight ?
|
If you are using your personal bank statements, you don't need a reference letter but then again it is good to be on the side of supplusage. Most banks do have signed and stamped options in generating your statements on their various apps, I can speak of Access and GTB. If you intend to use one of the banks without this online option then you have to visit the branch or send them a mail so that they can send it to you via email as well, all the best. Labelle: |
It is advisable to always book hotels that offer free cancellations. Now that you have booked, it is better you cancel the booking and rebook with the dates of your proposed travel. I think the booking thing per hotel and flights is more so that the visa officer has an inkling as to your travel date and not that they really expect anyone to actually pay for these bookings. Thank you. All physical copies, I must also add that, we initially provided coloured photocopies of our previous visas and the upon learning that the actual passports having the visa stamps were in the car, the TLS official CLEARLY encouraged that we go get them and submit it them along with our application because according to her, the visa officer would rather see the passports stamps directly on the passports than the coloured photocopies. sirrotex: |
Firstly I believe it was more of God's grace because I have read here how people were been given 10 days etc and to think that we stated that we would be spending only 11 days on the trip. Yes to travel history, US and Canada. Also note that we had both been denied UK visas before. Car ownership papers: When you renew your car papers, there is this proof of ownership that comes with the yearly renewal, so we submitted the proof of ownership that was up to date which was 2025 renewal (just the yearly proof of ownership). firebreather: |
Thanks you so much...... hunee: |

A good place to start would be good travel history, financial proof, certifications or any kind of proficiency that largely suggest how vital and valuable you are as a person so that there wouldn't be any incentive for you to overstay your visa and become a second class citizen in their country etc......It is endless really so it all depends on each person's profile and sometimes the mood of the consular at the time of the evaluating your case (guess that is where prayer comes in lol)...........One thing to also keep in mind is this, I am not sure if this applies to France as a country but for instance, the US embassy by default posits that every non-immigrant applicant wants to elope, so the burden is always on each applicant to disprove this notion and convince the consular officer otherwise. If the French embassy has the same posture then you should look inwards, do a simulation and find a way to blow up the significant areas of your life in your cover letter. firebreather: |
SMEDAN doesn't confer legal status on entities, I am not sure there is anyone that wouldn't prefer CAC to SMEDAN let alone an embassy. If you must use SMEDAN, make sure there are other areas of your application that can compensate for any perceived relative weakness of the SMEDAN certificate. firebreather: |
Except you are highly passionate about your first course of study, I would counsel you not to do masters as an immigrant (atleast for now), though Masters gives you more premise for PR but so also is any good trades program. In Canada, they call Plumbing, Electricians, Carpentry etc trades. As against going for masters, look for a good college/polythetnic, get into a trades program, when you are done, you stand a better chance of getting a good employment compared to an MSC holder.....
