The Lagos 3x3 Streetball Tour anticipates 128 teams (Male & Female) in the field this year. Following the crowning of the 3x3 champion, a slam dunk and 3-point competition will be held.

The competition is open to all (not only residents of Lagos State) and players do not have to play professionally to be eligible to enter.

As a FIBA endorsed event, FIBA intends to track the progress of individuals playing at FIBA 3x3 tournaments. Teams would be required to register online through the website www.streetball.com.ng . Participants earn FIBA world ranking points and stand the chance of been invited to international 3x3 championships.
Team registration fee is N10,000

Team registration begins 1st September 2016, each team can have a maximum of four players and the participation fee includes a reversible team jersey for each player, as well as entry (of one member) to the slam dunk or 3-point competition.

It is knockout basketball and only the final two teams in each zone would make it to the final.
