jayjaycool: Just want the decoder that will support HD, mpeg4, dvb-s, any latest feature that I won't have to start thinking I should have bought that other decoder instead. I am a foreign movie lover,music and cartoon lover(lol) I learn some station in eW4/7 will require certain decoder to be able to view the video. Pls am a learner here I might not use the right sentence but if u understand me pls refer me to the decoder u feel is the best so far by strong.

I suggest u go for srt 4922A. It fulfills ur requirements and much more yet it is cheap. Visit strong technologies web site and c 4 urself.

Please I want to buy stonger decoder can anyone here tell me the best decoder so far if possible why. If you have idea of the price too it will be nice. Although am not concerned with the price but what will give me what I want. Bear with me if this question bores you. I am new here.

BBCis on tp 11766H, CNN is on tp 11977V, ABU DHABI SPORTS 2 is on tp 12224H while NESSMA is on tp and all of them have the same symbol rate(SR) of 27500

try tp 11958 V SR 27500 on Nilesat. Aljaazeera sports +6-+10 are there.

here in Abuja with my 2.4m strong brand dish, I am able to get cnn, bbc, cctv, so why not you in sokoto where I believe the signal is stronger being closer to the sat footprint. I am using a fuji prime focus lnb.

I certainly hope so because I had a similar problem with my srt 4661x sometimes ago. If you are lucky you may be able to notice a change in the physical appearance of the capacitor through rupture or something similar. I dont know if srt 4661x and 4669x have the same power pack, I would have suggested you checking on capacitor with parameters as follows 50v 2200uF. It should be the culprit. It is on the secondary side of your power pack. Best of luck.

hi habib55 I think you may have a leaky electrolytic capacitor in the power pack of your receiver. Check it out!!!!!

mecussey: Someone should confirm this OSN frequency for me 11996 H 27500. I no longer get it with my 3 meter metal dish; the signal is just 46% quality and still red. All effort to troubleshooting did not work and it only turns green at night. Again, what is the best current LNB for Nilesat now, I use the old type of Supermax, but someone mentioned HD 2 premium LNB.

The properties of the tp has been recently updated. Check http://en.kingofsat.net/tp.php?tp=425 to see if any new update of the tp is in conflict with your STB as far as compliance is concerned.

tp's 10.992 v 27500 and 11.156 v 20000 now active on 7.0 W. With my 2.4m dish the signal quality is 100% in central naija. I think it should be easier to nail Nilesat especially down south. These TP's are beaming directly to North-West Africa according to the owners of Eutelsat 7 West A!!!

The JSC sports FTA channels are now operating on 12245v on Atlantic Bird 7@ 7 west. Unless you track the TP, you can as well forget about watching the said channels.

it seems that harmatans hazy weather is a threat to fringe bird reception. My 11937 dropped from 68% to 52% signal strength this afternoon. Is it the same with yours this period?

I am rocking nilesat with HUMAX HD with one year subscription of AD sports (only EPL right) and joined with my Aljeera card. I should advice anyone on nilesat or that is planning to use nilesat to go for HUMAx HD cos it is Fta/universal receives with double smart card slot(one married to Ad card and the other is for any free card like mytv card), the receiver have HD channels on nilesat (fox movies,all mbcs, natgeo, wild, etc) which it opens cos of there partnership and much more channels all on HD format. To enjoy the best of nilesat. usb, rs232
