I don't know about where others fellowship ; but where I fellowship, and in all the places I've been to, I've never heard these 'lies' as you put them.

Fighting fair.
Dealing with issues as they arise and once dealt with, no bringing it up again.
Having a book where we make and write decisions together and stick by them.
Effective communication often.
Honesty and transparency. No secrets allowed. Cuz secrets have away of causing things to fester.
Removing our focus from sex and focusing on more important issues that will arise in marriage ; like school fees grin

lol, raising godly children
Having a vision for our union and doing what we can by God's grace to hit the target.

She starts eating a lot under stress. It happens to my sister and some of my friends. When they are stressed out, they gobble up junk food which in time makes them blow up. cheesy

Fact, few women remain the same size and shape after childbirth, except they undergo surgery.

Deal with it or opt out of having children. grin

I don't think it's appropriate to bathe with your children in the 1st place.

The parents can bathe the boys till they are old enough to do so properly, let's say 6 or 7 years.
Once the girls are 3, daddy should be excused from bathing them except his wife is no longer with him and he has no female relative he trusts staying with him.
My opinion though.

you have good points OP, but the fact is this; not everyone can be slim after marriage except they go for surgery.
Things like 'hormones', 'birth-control', 'child birth', (and believe you me) 'stress' can make a woman 'blow up' after marriage.

Men should just settle in their hearts that the woman they're getting married to will add at least 5 extra pounds by the time they are done with child bearing

No vex ehn.... we'll try to maintain shape small grin
