Professor Blessing Didia has been named as Acting Vice-Chancellor of the Rivers State University of
Science and Technology.
Similarly, Professor Boma Oruwari is the Acting Deputy
Vice-Chancellor of the University.
Both appointments were announced in a statement released
by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and
Publicity, Opunabo Inko-Tariah.

The authorities of Nnamdi Azikiwe University on Thursday
11th June 2015,suspended the impeached SUG president
Noble Eyisi indefinitely from the school.
According to the university,Noble Eyisi at about 2:30pm on
3rd June,2015 mobilized some questionable faces and
some students of the university at the schools Multipurpose
hall and distributed placards to them in an attempt to
probably engage them in acts design to disrupt peace in the
university.
It was also learnt that the said Noble Eyisi abandoned his
Nissan Primera saloon car with the registration number AA
857 AZ on sighting a security vehicle which points to the
fact that he was engaged in a conduct that is unlawful to the
welfare of the university community.
Consequently the Vice chancellor in pursuant to section 19
of Nnamdi Azikiwe university CAP N 139 LFN 2004
SUSPENDED him indefinitely for misconduct pending the
decision of the student Disciplinary committee to which the
case was referred to.
Noble Eyisi till his dismissal from the school was a 300 level
undergraduate of political science

After several years of my 'edu' life, i realized some amazing
facts, but hard to belive, it's true.
Don't get me wrong, am the wrongest person ever but i
guess some Niger¡ans can't tell the difference between a
high school and a colleage in simple Brt.Eng. Should i blame
it on the antecedent, 'cox' humans learn by imitation or the
way people mix up the 'englishes' and feel relaxed 'baut it?
Should i blame it on hungry authors or owners of private
schools who decide if the secondary school should be a
colleage or high school? From the "British school of
thought", the colleage cannot grow wings and soar higher
than the high school.
I do like critics, that's exatly why i created this exeption
(section) for them:
¤some may say it's not my mother tounge, why do u speak
it? your mother tounge is great, it would only be ideal 2 a
small population, not to the world.
¤ why did you write your timeline in english, if you love your
mother tounge that much?
i know i've been way too rational on this, but my perspective
is concise, that's why i really want you guys to ponder over
it.
