Like pc guru said you don't need a video tutorial for jquery but you are better off if you know javascript first then using jquery will be pretty straight forward for you, so i suggest that you focus on javascript for now since you are a beginner. I have been following your post on programming as well and i read where you also requested for video tutorial on java and vb8 or 10, i have video tutorial for java and ajax but 300mb of ajax video tutorial through email is quite some work but I'll try and see if i can send it in bits after this post.As for the java tutorial i will have to search through my archives to get it for you so if you are keenly interested you have to KEEPING disturbing me through the email i'll use to send the ajax if you dont get a java and dont get tired of it otherwise ,

Please can you guys tell me of a good php web host that has good customer service; that will register my domain in my own name and also allow me to move without problem should i feel like going else where.Please i want suggestions from those who have experienced it.Thanks

@ malashkar a just a quick response try using the help system on dreamweaver to set the right parameters, the testing server that you will be using is your apache server that comes with your wamp(i installed all the wamp component separately so our setting are different).When you get to "connect using" under servers and then clicking the plus sign to add a new server change from ftp to local/network but like i said use the help system to help your self and if afterwards you still having the same problem then i'll and see if i can go through the whole process on me system. And if you get it solve make sur you post a response so the other guy can benefit as well.

Really thats just about all the error message you will get "An unexpected error has occured"; i have had to wrestle through the same error when i was using dreamweaver 8(now i use cs5) but i manage to resolve it.I can tell you that its simply has to do with your set up:make sure that your site folder you are creating is located in your DocumentRoot,if you check your httpd.conf located in the c:\, \apache2.2\conf\httpd.conf you will see a line like this DocumentRoot "C:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/htdocs" this means you should have your site folder should be located in htdoc otherwise do something like # DocumentRoot "C:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/htdocs"
DocumentRoot "C:/path to where your site is located". Then fill in the localhost,root and password and you should be good to good.Trust me if you do a google search as i did you may not come up with a solution as was my experience and it could almost drive you naught.

Sure a woman can be an excellent programmer and i think there are female programmer on this site maybe when they get online and see your post they will respond to you and give you some encouragement but the truth is that there is no differences between a male and female on this issue and you have one vital ingredient to start out:"i love it so much"(your words).So just get going and if you need assistances simply post it and trust me, you will get all the humanly possibly assistances from the good guys and ladies in this forum.However you should post straight programming questions on the programming section of this site and web based question on this section for optimal response from programmers.I wish you well.

I want to upload a joomla website and also purchase a domain name,can someone who uses joomla pls point me to a self-tested ISP where i will get good services(both customer and technical) and with all the requirements for joomla 1.5 and even 1.6. Pls i want advice only from people who use joomla and presently has an account with the ISP and not someone trying to sell 'cos i dont want to start having ISP headaches after i get into their trap.Thanks 

@fayimora i'm still expecting the books on java rmi and java socket and as many as i can get both for beginners to advanced, even though i'm not a beginner in these topics and i'll appreciate if i can get as many books as possible on these topices.Thanks

I think you should start with web development technologies because its easy to start making money with it 'cos it takes some time for you to become good enough to start making money as a programmer using full blown programming languages like c, c++, java or c#. start with say joomla its easy enough to learn and then you can start developing websites for people and make some money then you can move to scripting language like php,javascript,xhtml etc and then to java  etc.All the best
