My admission status? *sigh**
I was very optimistic that my name was going to come out but where did optimism take me?

When I heard the list was out, I logged on to jamb's site and surprisingly, my heart was beating faster than humanly possible and that was when I relaised the Big role my admission was going to play at this crucial point in my life, be it positive or otherwise. This was it, what was going to make or mar me was just lying there, waiting for the click of a button. Clicked on admission status, put in myjamb reg no and clicked check admission status.

What i saw made me feel in a way ive never in my life felt before. Ray, uniben didn't give me my first course. If they even gave me Mathematics, my second choice, I wouldn't have complained bro.

Now i truly know why they say uniben is unpredictable. There it was, Dear ****s*** ***u******** you have been offered admission to study Production Engineering in the University of Benin. Faculty of engineering bla bla..

I was elated. Though I didn't get my elect/elect, I got something equally as good. At the end, na Godwin.

Back to my earlier statement "where did optimism take me"? It took me somewhere.

Another phase of life Begins. Ray, thanks for your concern so far. I really do appreciate, trust me I do. I rarely like to meet with people i know online in real life but I think you are an exception. Whatever you order for is on me the day we meet in school. #one love##

So...exactly 7 days ago, we received our admission letters into the 9-month Jupeb program.

I got My Engineering Dept. ...
After my online clearance, my physical clearance was scheduled on Monday (the past one..)

"How I go take survive this one? I no even get any document"

So I set out...and by God's grace, I was able to gather my documents completely by Saturday.

Travelled down to Benin on Sunday, and went for clearance on Monday.

Engine and art students where asked to come back the next day, due to some problems.
"Gutted! Change of plans..but whatever happens, I must be in Lagos by Tuesday"

So I packed my things in faith...of a smooth clearance.

We were giving numbers according to our sitting arrangement, and Your's Faithfully was No1 (For Engineering)

Clearance process lasted only 10mins!!!

6 hours latter, am back in my Hood! Feeling like I was flogged by an angry mob...

I was to come back the following day, with my full load, as classes 'were' to start on Thursday (its now shifted to Monday) and it was going to be New lecturers, 8am-4pm (thank God 4 my life o.. I4 die )

But I consulted some friends and Family, and I was adviced to wait till next week.

Woke up Thursday morning..went out into the street to greet a friend who I haven't seen for ages (and we're on the same street God punish Money!)

While we were talking, Honorwrites announced! "2nd list is out, I was admitted"

Omo! See as my legs and hands begin shake...but based on how my heart be, I login to Kofa site, only for me to see a bold "SUBMITTED"

Chai! Na only God go fit explain how my heart remained in my chest..

Then I checked NL again..and saw that we were to check through Jamb (meanwhile my friend was already giving consoling sermon )

I slotted in my jamb number,

"Congrats.. You have been admitted into the Faculty of Engineering.
Course: Structural Engineering "

Er... *coughs and wipes eye* I called my dad outside, and told him 2nd list was out, and then when he asked if my name was in, I feigned cough and cut the call

On a normal day, daddy doesn't open gate for a person, he'll be forming boss in the room... But once I got home and rang the bell, gate oopen like magic, Daddy carried an Emotional face, me sef bone like say I am finished...

Went into my room, and lay down like I was dead, Daddy came in and in a quiet tone (daddy with a quiet tone? #end time things) and asked again.. "Your name nko?"

And I replied "E dey inside jhor.." (The jhor part was in my mind o...)

Long story short, Mummy came home, Tears started flowing, Siblings came from school, "brother buy me this and that" list started flowing..."

In all... It was a day of rejoicing!

I just thank God for all he's done for me, switching to ElectElect shouldn't be a problem: with God on my side.. Because "If He did it b4, He can do it again...#same God!

All the stress I went through this past week, was just a distraction, for the real thing!

I'm grateful Lord. *kneels down* You are the Greatest Power... Even when I made mistakes, your Grace and Mercy was enough to see me through.. Thank You!

yea....real mean n tricky,two ppl scored 72 n applied 4 law,one got in,d oda got pub admin,not so fair

I don't know about the 2nd batch,but as 4 ds whose name came out in 1st batch,on ur kofa page ur student record has been created,use d new credentials given to log in n dn print out ur provisional admission letter
