Lagos is different from Lagos state. That you should know now.

There are many cities in Lagos state and Ikeja happened to be the capital. It is a planned city on its own.

EAC is a planned city on its own and still part of Lagos state.

Victoria Island, Lagos Island and Ikoyi are what is known as Lagos. They are planned too. Yaba and Surulere are also part of Lagos.

Lekki is a planned city on its own and it's is still part of Lagos state.

There are other places like Badagry, Ikorodu and Epe. These are cities in Lagos state. They stand on their own.

In short, they said Abuja is most beautiful city in the whole of Africa except for some south African cities. To them Nairobi is child's play.

These foreigners have lived in Nairobi for years and they have been all the major cities in Kenya and Africa.
