Politics / Re: Man Electrocuted To Death In Jos by jaydonv: 3:08pm On Jul 26, 2013
[b]May his soul rest in peace and may God bless his family.

By the way, why are you guys trying to prove you are superior as regards English grammar at such a pathetic post.

Who says someone can not be electrocuted to death? What is the definition of electrocution. Check your dictionary. Oxford English dictionary defines electrocution as 'to injure or kill sb by passing electricity through their body'. Encarta defines it as "to cause injury or death with an electric shock". Chambers defines it as: "to inflict death penalty on sb by electrocution or to kill by electricity. Merriam websters defines it as: "to kill by electric shock or to execute a criminal by electricity. Originally electrocution meant to kill by electricity but over time, its scope of definition has widened to accommodate serious injuries caused by electricity. In that case, a person may be electrocuted without dying. So if the writer of this post states : "electrocuted to death", it is correct if he means 'injured by electricity to death". However to avoid all kinds of grammatical pitfalls, it's advisable to say: 'someone was killed by or died through electrocution'

Entertainment / Re: Photo Of The Day: The "Holy Hug" by jaydonv: 4:39am On Jul 24, 2013
Behold Brother Okon and Sister Udoh sweetly displaying the newest hug in town! This embrace is specially sacrosanct and sanctimonious. Look at Brother Okon smiling sheepishly while sensing electrifying mammary pleasures! And it seems Sister Udoh has been drifted to Utopia in the whole titillating charade. This is a touch-me-carefully kind of hug where all forms of circumforeneous contacts around the erogenous zone are completely terminated. While this caricature of a hug is endlessly hilarious, the picaresque affair reminds me of the burlesque theatricality of Pantagruelism and the sheer pantaloonery of advanced punchinelloes.

Platonic love redefined and exemplified, this classic picture, as the magnum opus of its promethean creator, should be given a place besides invaluable masterpieces like Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa.

Family / Re: Can I Stop My Wife From Wearing Trousers by jaydonv: 11:22pm On Jul 15, 2013
Well, without adopting the superciliousness of a compulsive chauvinist, I think the wife should try and put off her own dogged beliefs in yielding to her spouse. On one hand, wearing of trousers by women is considered a norm where as in another it is a thing associated with opprobrious immorality.

By no measure should this frivolous matter result in incendiary disputation between the couple. It is an issue to be resolved amicably while defenestrating any domestic skirmish into complete oblivion.

Thanks
