Travel / Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by JayEmmanuel(m): 8:56am On Oct 25, 2022
I have a quick question about Travel history regarding First timer/Frequent Traveller.
Someone who has lived in Europe had a Polish study Visa over 9 years ago and has been to other schengen countries too is the person regarded in the category of First timer or Frequent traveler? Remember the study Visa was over 9 years ago. And also he has some travel history to some African countries, Ghana, Togo, Cameroon.
Pls I need answers to this question on what you think?
I would appreciate the enthusiasm from your experiences here. Thank you.

cucumbar:
well, I think a lot of factors come into play in deciding who gets a visa or not and travel history is just one of them.
If you are an employee, the organization you work with, your role and how much you earn is important. Some organizations open doors. This could come in handy for first timers.
If you are a business person, the type of business you do and your turnover comes into play here.
When I got my first shengen visa, I didn’t have what could be considered travel history, as I only had a dubai stamp and Brazilian visa that I had not used.

Some one mentioned a very key factor on another thread and I’m going to quote it here( credit to pansophist)

“To get a visa easily from any country, YOU MUST GIVE THE CONSULAR A VIBE OF AFFLUENCE. The consular must be convinced that you are least likely to overstay or abuse the conditions of your visa. This is where most applicants get a denial because it is difficult to prove”.

I don't really know about that. I think you'll need a Bachelors degree to apply for Masters.

I have a masters in environmental quality management from a university in Nigeria. Is it adviceable to apply for masters in environmental protection in a Polish University because someone said I could have issues at the embassy.

Why would you have issues when applying for a Masters Degree ? You just have to do the needful by Authenticating your Certificates at the Ministry of Education & Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

I have a quick question. Does rental agreement serve as proof of accommodation? I'm renting a room in an apartment in Warsaw and the landlord is sending me a rental agreement and all necessary documents.

Hi, you don’t need credit card limit certificate If you have pay slips. I’ve done mine and gotten it. You don’t need all these things, if you can’t get that, just get your pay slips. C’est fini.

What about a case where by your sponsor is self employed and no pay slip ? What can one do ?
And if one is also a self sponsor and no pay slip available?

Walk into firstbank, request to open a visa gold account (it’s instant) then make deposit to the account, come back in 5working days and get the card, it comes with a letter. Photocopy the card and the letter, staple it and print the statement of the visa gold account (notarize the statement) that’s all

Thanks a lot Bro for this information. The consular accepted this from you? This serves as the Certificate of Crédit Card ?

Good day ,

Please I need a help concerning my Poland student visa . I have all the necessary documents but I am confused about the statement of account . I am sponsoring myself but someone told me that they requested for a credit card certificate which state the amount you have on it .

I went to my bank (GTB) they said they don’t issue credit card .

Can I use my Dom account and get my dollar card for the visa application ?

Please someone should advice.

Regards

We are in the same position Bro. I can afford my statement of my account as proof of funds. I'm sponsoring myself and I'm really confused about the Credit card certificate stuff.

Please how do I go about travel medical insurance. From my enquiries, I'm being told that I have to purchase the one for 90 days and since I'm to stay up to 3 years in Poland, I'll then have to purchase another health insurance when I arrive the country. But the problem is, the embassy requires proof of insurance for the duration of my stay. How do I go about this house?? I'm confused

You purchase one year health insurance because I suppose you are applying for a student visa ? The student visa is 365 days that's 1 year validity so u will required to purchase a one year health insurance here.

Morning guys. Pls can someone use the age declaration from a high court to go for embassy interview? The National population commission guys are asking me to pay an exhorbitant amount and it won't be available till the upper week. So that's why I'm considering using an affidavit. What do you think?

How much are they asking you the pay ? Its better to go with your Attestation of Birth from NPC and having it Authenticated at the MOFA in Abuja.

Like in my case I used pay slip. The polish woman highlighted that they want to see source of income or amount of earning, not the amount in bank account.

I'm curious to know how it is with a Self sponsor. I'm going for only an 8 months trainning course and I'm sposnoring myself. I don't have pay slips or something as such. I don't know if my bank stament would be enough or I have to add something extra to it.

I have been following this thread and I got a lot of information from here, so I promised if I get my visa I will also share my experience.
Applied for masters program
Documents submitted at the embassy are
Admission letter
Documents used in securing the admission
Insurance
For proof of fund I used my sponsors pay slip+
( note he is not related to me in anyway) first i submitted statement of account and luckily one of the polish woman corrected me that there is no where it was stated that statement of account is proof of fund.
Accommodation and flight RESERVATION.
and a lot of PRAYERS.
pls feel free to ask any question about my experience.
And yes I got my visa.

Thanks for sharing your experience.
My question is "What is suppose to act as proof of fund if not a bank statement?"
Please enlighten me on this.

If the India university in Ghana is recognized by the Indian government, as in a verified Indian university then the Indian embassy in Nigeria can handle the authentication

When I called the Indian High Commission in Abuja on this issue, the indian man said I have to go to the Indian High Commission in Accra to Notarize my Certificate and Transcript.

My my sis went to ukranine The Uk Govt had to authenticate her UK certification [ quote author=JayEmmanuel post=81327370]I have a situation at hand. I obtained my Bsc from an Indian University and I'll be going for a Professional Course in Warsaw by December. How do I go about my Certificate Authentication in MOE & MFA etc since it's a foreign certificate and I'm in Nigeria currently ?
Secondly I'm finding it difficult to get an appointment date for National Visa and time is running. Can I still book for a Schengen Visa since there are available dates for appointment.
