Ambode is acting as if his performance as governor isn't enough to make him win. If performance can't win second term, then this country is dead.

Then all you actually need to win elections or second term in Nigerian politics is not capabilities, good track record, integrity, transparency or performance; you only need to know the right people. Even if I'm corrupt and a total failure in my first term in office, I can still have landslide victory for second term if I'm connected to the right political godfathers.

This country will die a permanent death if this trend continues.
