So, would you like to lose readers just for few cent?

The visitor that leave your website can be;
A lost subscriber
A lost sale
and so on..

2. Getting approved is so hard!
I’ve been asked so many times by other bloggers, why google adsense is not approving their sites.

Google is getting strict day by day. They don’t approve any blog easily even if its six month or one year old. If you make site perfect to apply for adsense. There are less chances they’ll approve the site.

3. Too many rules to follow, So disgusting?
Just Try reading their terms and Conditions you’ll know what I mean.

4. Email Support Just Sucks!
Google adsense have email support. But you’ve to wait for too many days to get reply from them.

You might need another support to get their reply.
5. Once you get banned, you can never get back in.

If you try getting approve for adsense for a new blog. They won’t approve your application. Even if you follow all the google adsense rules and TOS. There are chances that adsense will ban your website.

Once you get banned just forget adsense. They won’t let you to get back in the program again.

6. Low Cost Per Click (CPC)
If you are not from US or Western Europe – forget about big earnings.

For rich European countries price per click is relatively good. It could be $1 2$ or even more than this. It depends on keywords.

So, If you are getting daily 100-1000 daily you won’t earn much money.

That means, if your sites get small portion of such traffic – you will receive $0.01 – $0.05 for clicks.

Might be around 1$-10$ a month. Adsense pays very less per click.

If you have high traffic, many big advertisers will contact you to pay much better than adsense.

7. Little Editorial Control
Do you know Google has over 100,000 advertisers or might be more than this.

You have no control which one can advertise on your blog or not. Isn’t that sucks?


If you want full control over ads you can use OIOPublisher for WordPress. This is the best plugin to manage all ad spot, advertisers, payments and stats.

8. Big delay in payment
First in order to receive money from adsense you have to verify your home address. Adsense sends pin that might take 2 or 3 months depend on where you live.

Summary

The Internship drive is for fresh graduates who have NOT commenced their National Youth Service (NYSC) and have at least 7 months from now before starting NYSC (i.e. would not start NYSC until at least March 2018). Our aim is to pre-select exceptional fresh graduates for internship openings in P&G.

This opening is not limited to any specific field of study. The job openings cover departments like Sales, Supply Network Operations, Brand/Marketing, Consumer Market Knowledge, Human Resources e.t.c. Successful candidates will be considered for openings across Procter & Gamble departments in Lagos. Note that no specific field of study is required for any specific department.

Before you cook Egusi Soup

Before preparing the soup, soak the dry fish and stock fish till soft. If you are using the very tough stockfish, boil it for 20 minutes and leave in the pot with the hot water to soak for about an hour. If using the softer stockfish, you can just soak them in cool water till you can break them apart with your hands.

When the fish and stockfish are soft, de-bone and break them into sizeable chunks.

Much closer to your cooking time, grind the egusi with a dry mill. Grind the crayfish and the dry pepper separately and set aside.
Rinse the vegetables to be used and cut into tiny pieces.

Cook the beef and fish with the stock cubes till they are well done. You should start cooking the toughest meat and fish first and add the others as they get done.

If using a normal pot, I will start with stockfish and shaki, add beef after about 1 hour and cook till done. I can add the dry fish when all the other meat and fish are cooked because it is already cooked, you just need to cook it long enough till it is soft and integrated with the rest of the ingredients.

With a pressure pot, I do it differently but that is a process for another post.
Set all these aside.


Cooking Directions

Pour the red palm oil into a dry pot and set on the stove to heat. As soon as the oil melts, add the ground egusi and start frying. If the oil is not congealed, add the egusi as soon as the oil is translucent. Mix the ground egusi with oil till every grain of egusi turns yellow.
Start stirring the egusi on low to medium heat. Keep stir-frying for about 10 minutes.

Add the meat/fish stock (water from cooking the fish and meat) little by little while still stirring the egusi. So you add a bit of the stock, stir-fry for some time, add another, stir-fry and so on. When the stock is exhausted and you feel that the soup is still too thick, you can start adding hot water in the same way till you get the consistency you want.

If your choice of vegetable is bitter leaf, add it at this time.
Cover the pot and cook for 20 minutes, stirring at intervals. Also, top up the water when necessary. If you don't stir it, it will burn. It takes 30 minutes to cook egusi properly else the soup will not taste nice to someone with authentic Nigerian taste buds. Also, egusi that is not cooked long enough may cause upset stomach.

The egusi is done when you notice that the oil has separated from the mix.

Once you are happy that it is done, add the ground crayfish and pepper. Stir and add the Nigerian pumpkin leaves or spinach (alternative).
Stir very well and add the cooked stockfish, shaki and meat.

Add salt if necessary. If it is too thick, add some water to bring it to a consistency you like.

Cover and leave to simmer and it is done!
The perfect swallow for Egusi Soup is Pounded Yam. You can also serve it with Eba (Garri), Agidi, Amala, Semolina Fufu, Tuwo Shinkafa or Cassava Fufu.

⇒ When the usual boiling point has been attained, wash your ewedu leaves thoroughly and pour them into the cooking pot.
⇒ Place the teaspoon of potash into a half-full cup of water and wait for the potash to saturate
⇒ Empty the water into the cooking pot and wait for the stew to boil for about 5-8 minutes (Meanwhile, this will make the leaves become very soft)
⇒ Keep the cooking pot away from the fire and get the short broom
⇒ Keep the short broom within your hand and start using it to pound the softened ewedu leaves until they become very tiny bits
⇒ After that, return the cooking pot to the fire point and add the other ingredients (which include salt and maggi)
⇒ After adding the ingredients, let the soup boil gently for a few minutes, probably 3 to 6 minutes

With this done, your ewedu soup is ready and can be enjoyed with several foods such as eba, fufu, amala, etc.
