Hi all - a quick update to my process. PPR came on November 23rd. Eligibility and background check started and finished same day: Nov. 21 Pre-arrival: Nov. 21 Passport Request letter: Nov 23rd Submitted to Lagos VFS: Nov 25th Waiting on Accra to stamp and return passport. Thank God for this process. 10 months. Hi - I wanted to share my own experience. It's been a minute that I've been on Nairaland. I'm a PR, came back in Nigeria in January to get married in January 2022. Got back to Canada in January. Here's my timeline so far with the husband's spousal sponsorship process Mar 3: Submitted Docs via online application process (Please be thorough about this - it will save you time - no rejections etc.) May 2: Received AOR and physical letter saying application to sponsor has been approved and file now sent to Accra May 30: Biometrics Request received June 3: Biometrics completed August 2: Medicals Request received August 23: Medicals update completed Several ghost updates - with the most recent one on Nov. 3. Status is still - Eligibility (Not started) and Background verification (Not Started) I wrote to my MP last week to help inquire and if possible, expedite the process - waiting to hear back from them (they said 10-15 business days). I'm hopeful that the process will soon come to an end as I've seen folks get this recently in 6-10 months. I didn't have any document rejections or any returned application because I tried to make all the docs i submitted as comprehensive as possible. My advice to anyone in this process, would be to watch YouTube videos online. There's an Indian dude's channel (Hit Submit and Canada), super helpful with the process. Please watch all his videos. Goodluck to everyone and God willing, I'll come and share my testimony here soon.[/quote] |
Congratulations - this is really quick. Super happy for you. I pray his passport comes back to you soonest. Question: Was it processed in Accra? God, I see what you're doing for others - enter our neighborhood, Lord! 18422806]Outland online - April 27th 2022 AOR - August 10th, 2022 SA - 11th August, 2022 Medical request - 3rd October, 2022 Pre-arrival Letter - 6th October, 2022 Medical passed - 15th October, 2022 Multiple Ghost Updates PPR - November 14th, 2022 Thank You Jesus. Funny! to those who say people overspiritualise everything, men need to be cautious o we live in a very very wicked world. I ve heard so many stories of wedding gifts turned bad. my dad and 2 other men prayed over my sister's gifts when she got married and told them to wait a while before they opened them. i did hear about a couple that got married and few weeks into their marriage they were already having issues, quarreling n all at the slightest provocation, they later opened their gifts say 4-6 months after their wedding date and guess what they saw a steaming hot pot of Amala inside one of them gifts. Their man of God was called to pray and all and it was revealed that for as long as that amala would be hot, their marriage wld always be tumultuous... i cannot confirm the story but i know worse things have happened in this life o.
