Bobrisky narrates how he was sexually harassed by a man in Lagos, advise girls to always go out with acid.



Kudiratu Olayinka, who is a staff of popular entertainment network, MTV Base, came out few days back to reveal she was sexually harassed by a man at a mall.



It all looks as if her story has motivated Bobrisky to open up on his own experience too.



Bobrisky also took to SnapChat to narrate his ordeal in the hands of the man he actually intended to help, but who ended up harassing him and claiming they would waylay him at a corner and rape him.

#Tech: Why brands need to get into ‘voice’ in 2018
Talking, once seen as the less cool forerunner of text messages and Whatsapp, is having something of a comeback, much like (regrettably) three members of the 90s British boyband, Five.

Look at the race to dominate in voice-activated devices which saw the likes of Google, Amazon, Apple, and Samsung going head-to-head in 2017. From our friend Alexa and the compact Google Home to the wonderfully titled LingLong DingDong — China’s leading voice-activated device from JD.com — 2017 was big for voice.

But 2018 is going to be even bigger. With more tech companies getting involved in the game, brands would do well to take note and start producing content worth shouting about.

So why will voice explode in the new year?

Podcast popularity — audiences are listening, and advertisers should be talking

The RAJAR report (PDF) told us that, in the UK in 2016, there was a 27 percent rise in the number of people listening to podcasts over the year. To put that in terms of real people, 4.7 million adults in the UK alone tuned into some kind of a podcast in autumn 2016, compared to 3.7 million in 2015.

And they’ll continue to be produced, with even higher production value, as brands realize that podcasts are a great chance for them to get up close to their customer, quite literally speaking into the ears of an interested audience with a strong emotional connection to the content. If you’ve ever had a conversation with a fellow ‘Serial’ listener, you’ll know what I mean.

This is already happening in the US, while in the UK podcasts are like the wealthy ageing population: largely ignored by brands. With no click-through, and no ability to even hear the ad unless you go into the podcast — talk about visibility metric disasters.

However, out of sight, out of mind is a terrible mantra for getting up close and personal with customers (or, as I like to call them: people). 2018 will show that brands who’ve bought into voice tech and audio are the ones who are winning, with low costs and high rewards.

Interactive gets interesting — people want to have a dialogue, not just passively absorb information

We’ve already seen this start to happen. As voice-activated devices gain in popularity and increase their skills, users at home will want more from their voice assistant. You can already book your Uber and order your JustEat through Alexa — though you still have to accept your two pizzas and extra garlic bread from a real human delivery driver in most cases.

Other brands should be looking at how they can introduce skills that can benefit them. Whether that’s by offering a personal stylist, working out innovative ways to connect items in the smart home, or creating content, interacting with instead of tothe consumer will soon be seen as crucial, much like it’s on social media. Accenture recently reported that 60 percent of people would like to use an Amazon Echo in their shopping experience. In fact, seven percent already are.

The BBC has already stepped up to this new challenge — producing a tailor-made drama for audio devices: The Inspection Chamber. An interactive entertainment source could be like gold dust for brands producing content or ads, with listeners actively participating and therefore ready to absorb information.

Publishers are also on board with voice tech

The Financial Times is converting its articles into audio for some of its subscribers, and reportedly many publishers have entire teams dedicated to Amazon Echo content. Vogue, in September, brought its issue to Google Home, as people asked questions about celebrities and were answered by pre-recordings of Vogue journalists.

Increasingly in 2018, publishers will find new ways to get involved with voice tech as the trend gets legs and starts to become a day-to-day part of our lives. This means new ways for other companies to innovate and expand their use of voice tech in partnership with publishers, who are getting ahead of the latest technologies.

The success of brands such as Audible and the development of voice device skills, like the ability to get special Amazon deals when you voice shop with Alexa, shows us that listening is here to stay. Investing now in content and media is important to stay ahead of the conversation in 2018, figuratively and literally.

The brands who do this well will see the long-term benefits of creating a brand voice and storytelling to build emotional connections with people — it’s as simple as that.

Proposal


The housemates on Wednesday entered a pairing game in the house in which the female housemates were asked to pick numbers after which they were told to choose a male partner each.

The male housemates in return had the choice to either accept or reject the ladies as they approached.

Acceptance meant that the female housemate would receive a flower from the male housemate.

However, there was slight drama as Ahneeka was turned down by Dee one as he refused to give her the flower.

This generated an uproar in the house after the game as Ahneeka felt embarrassed sitting alone on her bed.

He said he didn’t reject her intentionally as he had no idea it was the permanent pairing section but thought it was just a game.

A self-described ‘blood witch’ who caused a social media storm by giving herself a menstrual facial wants to inspire scores of other women to do the same thing.
Earlier this month Australian Yazmina Jade, 26, collected the blood from her period and smeared it on to her face in a ‘sacred ritual’ which went viral.
Now, the Gold Coast feminine healer has encouraged women across the globe to stop hiding their menstrual cycle by following her lead – and share their results.
Former hairdresser Yazmina said she felt a ‘blood bond’ with the women who took part.

Yazmina believes menstrual cycles are mired in shame.

But she said these are equaled in force by supporters, who have told her, ‘this is incredible, this is just what we need’, and she has some strong words for those who stand in opposition.

“I was feeling very disconnected with myself as a woman and carrying too much shame around my period.”

The wife of one of the known pastors in Ghana, Osofo Maame has accidentally leaked her own s.ex video.
MandyNews.com gathered that the pastor’s wife mistakenly shared the video into a public Whatsapp group she belongs to.
As to who she was actually sending the video to is not yet clear, probably, she could have been sending it to her husband, the pastor.
From the short video, the Ghanaian pastor’s wife could be seen playing with her vital parts in the video while she seductively danced, facing the camera.
Through it all, her baby was crying in the background but Osofo Maame was too consume with the flames of passion to attend to the child.

A Nigerian lady has cried out on social media after her husband mercilessly beat her up allegedly because she couldn’t give him more children.
According to the story shared yesterday by Human Rights lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye, the lady has also been sent out of her matrimonial home with her only child – a 13 year old son.

You recall, another Nigerian man accused of beating his wife to pulp once said battery was the only language the woman understands.
Francis Abiagan, an employee of Business Day Newspaper, said his wife of 10 years, Joy, had made life difficult for him since he brought his sick mother to their Ifo, Ogun State, residence.
A group, Campaign Against Impunity and Domestic Violence had accused Abiagan of beating and stripping naked his wife.
In a statement signed by the group’s spokesman, Gbenga Soloki, the photojournalist was accused of inflicting injuries on the woman, boasting that nothing could happen to him.
According to Soloki, Abiagan had been assaulting his wife for a long time, with the couple’s family intervening to broker peace whenever they quarreled.
Abiagan, who admitted on telephone that he beat up his wife, said he could not endure the way the woman treated his mother.

“I have been married for 10 years now. My mother had stroke and no one was available to take care of her. I brought my mother to the house and since then, it has been war.
My wife hates my mother with passion. My sin is that I accommodated all her siblings and they have turned my life into a nightmare.
“My wife has been devising means to deal with my mother. She starved my mother to the extent that I hired a help, who cooks for her.
My wife was seen dragging my mother on the ground, calling her a witch. I have been enduring it but I could not bear this last one she did to my mother.
“My wife threatened the cook I hired not to come. The church has organised several meetings for us. They begged her to change but she refused. It is the language she understands I gave to her.”

A young woman Celine Dookhran, 20, was raped and murdered by her “obsessed” uncle before her body was padlocked in a deep freezer, a court heard.



Dookhran was kidnapped along with a second woman by her Uncle, Mujahid Arshid, 33, and his employee Vincent Tappu, 28, who took them to a six-bedroom house that Arshid, a builder, had been working at, the Old Bailey heard.”

Both women were then raped and their throats cut in what prosecutors described as a “horrific crime” on July 19 last year.

Arshid considered dissolving the bodies of both ladies in acid or hiding them in a chest-high freezer he installed two days before, it was claimed.

The second woman managed to survive and raised the alarm from hospital, which lead to the discovery of Miss Dookhran’s body.

Opening the prosecution case, Crispin Aylett QC warned jurors: “The evidence that gives rise to those charges is, I am afraid, simply horrific. You will have to steel yourselves for what is to come.”

Mr Aylett said Arshid had become “obsessed” with Miss Dookhran but knew that she was having a sexual relationship with her boyfriend, a Libyan Muslim.

The following day, on July 19, Arshid and his accomplice Tappu burst into Miss Dookhran’s room, stuffed socks into both women’s mouths, which they also covered with tape. Tied up the women’s hands and feet together and each of them was wrapped in a builder’s dust sheet.”

Arshid scooped up clothes, underwear and phones to give the “entirely false” impression Miss Dookhran had run away, it was claimed.

Mr Aylett said the women were taken from the house wrapped in dust sheets and put in the boot of the Arshid’s pick up truck. Tappu played no further part, jurors were told.
The court heard that Arshid had the set of keys to a six-bedroomed detached house between Wimbledon and Kingston where he had been working and took the women there, tying them to pipes in the utility room.

He allegedly took the second victim – who cannot be named for legal reasons – upstairs and raped her, before doing the same thing to his niece, Miss Dookhran.

Mr Aylett said:

“In the bathroom of that house, he cut Celine’s throat, most likely with the lock knife. “With her mouth still stuffed with a sock, Celine died from the combined effect of the restriction of her airwaves and the blood that she lost.”

The court heard Arshid then took the second woman, who is also in her 20s, upstairs and cut her throat, telling her she would be “dead within ten minutes”.

He put Celine’s body into the deep freezer and locked it with a padlock but the second woman survived and was later taken to hospital.

Based on the second woman’s information, Arshid was arrested the same night in Folkestone, Kent, where he had fled to.

Arshid was charged with murder, attempted murder, two counts of kidnap, two counts of rape, two counts of conspiracy to falsely imprison another, possessing a firearm with intent – a Taser.



He however, denied all the charges which included one count of sexual assault, and one count of assault by penetration, involving the second woman between November 2008 and November 2010.

His accomplice, Tappu, of Acton, west London, denied two counts of kidnap, two counts of conspiracy to falsely imprison another, and one count of possessing a firearm with intent.

Someone who was inside a car in the club premises in Kenya, filmed the two having beside a Range Rover SUV. The person is said to have identified the woman as the wife of the friend of the man she was having with beside the car.

In the video, the man is seen lifting up the woman’s clothes before engaging in Reproduction with her. The woman is also seen holding a beer can, meaning she was intoxicated at the time.

A 12-year-old boy, identified simply as Ojonugwa was reportedly set on fire by thieves in Kogi state to prevent him from identifying them as those responsible for the theft of a mobile phone.


The young boy was said to have known the identity of the thieves who stole a phone in Ogugu, Olamaboro LGA in Kogi state, so the criminals abducted him and took him on their motorcycle to a location where they asked him to lie down and close his eyes.
