You have not done justice to the question. I believe in seeing samples (pysically or otherwise). I was never a fan of POP even when PVC was not around. I went to visit a Rev. Father in his parish and i saw the PVC that was used in his apartment. It was lovely and well done. The colour and layout blended well with the sitting room that it was used for. I will prefer that PVC layout and setting to POP any day.

Oga there was no better way to do justice to that question judging from what I have suffered at the end paying attention to such question in the past. The worst thing about your own case is that you've already made up your mind to give your PVC installation to your carpenter, so, ? I'm sorry we dont run that free consultation anymore. People have taught me lessons. The least I can do for you is to advise you to tell yous carpenter to get samples of pieces of PVC as a professional installer so that he can show it to you to choose the colour/design pattern. I have mine-over 20 different colours/designs. If you are not physically present, he should snap them with digital camera and upload to your mail. That is how I serve my clientsand it cost me a fortune to achieve that. Unfortunately, some people enjoy such services from me on this forum for free under the guise of patronising me only for them to get people they see physically or know to get the sample they've chosen from the market and install for them. They 4get that I pay for my internet services, not to talk of the precious time I spend to attend to them. I think I've learnt enough lesson.
