[b][img][/img][img][/img][img][/img][img][/img][img][/img]It's been heard that a Nigerian citizen lost is life at kenya deportation camp... source of death is still unknown. Almost 200 Nigerians have been arrested in Nairobi, kenya and they were been locked up at the deporting camp. It was well known before that any illegal foreigner arrested should be deported which i think its the normal procedure to every country. But the current issue here in kenya is other way round. Kenya immigration have seen these as an avenue to exploit more money from the people arrested. Before, when any arrest is made, they will be instantly deported...but right now, they arrest them and ask them to pay KSH70,000 each before they can be given a "DEPORTATION VISA".... yet, the foreigners are the one to pay for their flight back to their countries. This is really making me sick... the only thing i can see from all this is that "KENYAN GOVERNMENT ARE BREEDING THEIR CITIZEN FOR ANOTHER XENOPHOBIC ATTACK". It has gotten to the point that the Immigration are asking their citizens to give out the info and locations of any foreigner living around them. Lots of my friends have been deported unfairly, a friend of mine was recently deported because MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE. Hes already a father to a Kenyan woman. Now, this issue is getting out of hand, Right now, its not about the illegal staying of the foreigners alone...its about hatred towards Nigerians, if any Kenyan is telling you guys that their country is not corrupt, That's a lie....the biggest truth is their they are the smartest thieves ever liveth in Africa. Their immigration sucks, when coming in to Kenya, after paying the sum of $50 for their visa, their police will threaten you bcoz u are a nigerian..and asked u to give them money...i pay up to $500 before they let me in. I was even accompany to use the ATM to withdraw from my Domiciliary account. It sucks to see Nigerians ranting with Kenyans on Nairaland ... Forget about the economy and forget about which country is beautiful or not.. Though our country economy sucks at the moment, but i know Nigeria will spring up again and we will see what will happen. It has become so obvious that even Kenyan ladies and some reasonable men are complaining on twitter about the mass arrest of Nigerians. Now, Many Nigerians are fleeing away...why? They will say Their life matters!!!!!!!!! This is what i know, we are all AFRICANS AND WE HAVE OUR BUT. we all struggling to make things better, What Nigerian is facing today, if Kenyan government should face it, your economy will grow bald bcoz you wont be able to survive it. We Nigerians will all stay strong and go through it all together. RIP TO A DEAR FRIEND AND A GOOD GUY THAT LOST HIS LIFE... LOVE U BLOOD.

lol, just like me bros, i dont wanna come back ooo... Kenya sweet like anything, best weather so far...and lots of stable ammenites...beautiful babes and its very lucrative place to be...but one serious thing about kenya is just to be very careful with HIV. Its just like south africa
Riddler32:

Do me a favour, buy a ticket to kenya. When you arrive get your visa at the entry with $50 and see the difference between the two Nations.
Kenya is a wonderful place, pretty good weather, consumable oxygen, beautiful citizen willing to assist for free and a peaceful place.
Nevertheless, the babes are in a whole world of their own, taking ownership, getting involved and picking up the bills. Not hard to please the Kenyan ladies.
To this end, most Nigerian won't want to come back.

LadyX:

Are you sure the country mentioned is not upto to your feet?
Are you aware of the following facts about Kenya?
1. Education
-There is free primary education in Kenya
-Secondary education fee is subsidised i.e the government pays part of the fee
- University students are given loans by the government to pay fees+ accommodation, etc. The loans are repaid when graduates start working.
So whether you come from a poor or rich family you can get educated easily...the only difference is that some rich people take their kids to private schools, which are expensive
2. Health
-There is free maternal health care i.e women deliver free of charge in public hospitals
-Children under 5 are treated free of charge in govt hospitals
-Accident victims can be treated in any hospital before they pay even a kobo. So this prevents unnecessary deaths....can you say the same about .. ? It's against the law to turn away a patient in an emergency situation
3. Ever heard of 24/7 electricity supply?
Electricity is cheap. People don't use generators. Think of the money spent by Nigerians in buying generators, fuels, etc. What could people be doing with such money? Developing themselves. Think of the noise and smoke from generators...think of the lives lost to generator fumes. Kenyans don't experience these
Come to think of it.. if Kenya is as bad as some Nigerian bloggers and Nairalanders want to make you believe, what were the 17 Nigerians doing there? Why didn't they leave when their visas expired? Why couldn't they renew their visas? The area that they were living in is not even a middle class suburb in Nairobi. It's just an ordinary place .... meaning they weren't able to live in places where expatriates and who is who in Nairobi live
There are so many positive facts I can write about Kenya, but lemme stop here
To all the people with negative opinions about Kenya, Google is your friend

well, all these that were written about kenya are truth.. Kenya is 1000 times better than Nigeria. Ever since i have been here in kenya, i have never seen a sitaution of power faliure here in kenya, and there's always stable clean water. Apart from that, their economy is really strong... even their currency exchange rate right now to naira is ksh3.5 to #1. can u imagine u having 30 thousand shillngs and its like 100k to naira. the fact is that NIgeria is messed up really!!!
