Well, I know military or command secondary schools in Nigeria are not full combat-training institutions like the Nigerian Military School (NMS) in Zaria where upon graduating they go on 5o apply easily for the NDA. The NMS strictly trains future soldiers. Meanwhile the list you mentioned was built so children of military personnel could access stable, affordable, and high-quality education, mix up with civilians etc. They are not the same. How did military sch now turn to Defense Academy.

For your information, based on military training (Combat) mixed with Academic.
We have 3 Military sch.

1. Nigeria Military Sch, Zaria, Kaduna state
2. Airforce Military Sch, Jos, Plataeus state
3. Nigeria Navy Military Sch, Ikot Cross river state.
Student from this sec school, are issue service number and graduate into Nigeria Military.
It is open to both Military and Civilian, you obtain form from their respective Military Education Directorate. Every May, Entrance exam is usually around June.

We only have one Nigeria Defense Academy which is situated in Kaduna. (NDA)
