Objectivist04: With this set of governors in south east, Otti Mba and Soludo, south east is going to record a.great leap before 2027 because the three governors are on fire . Just look at Aba looking well developed with high rise buildings and good roads everywhere. Aba a none state capital is more developed than all the south west towns except lagos . The most developed south west none capital town is ogbomosho which looks like a slum.
Going forward south east will be a region of interest because we got it right with good leaders this time especially in Abia, Enugu and Anambra. By the first quarter of next year a lot of projects that will change South East will be commissioned they include
ICC = Enugu Hotel presidential = Enugu 260 smart green schools = Enugu 260 type 2 hospitals =Enugu Solution fun city = Anambra Anambra government house = Anambra Remodeling of ekwuemes square = Anambra Ekwulobia flyover = Anambra Portharcourt road = Abia 62km Umuahia ohafia road = Abia Ohanku road = Abia Ekeakpara road = Abia Remodeling of ariaria mkt =Abia (doubtful) Note these are projects I believe will be comissioned before the end of match next year. There are numerous other projects ongoing whose completion will exceed march but I didn't include the . If you know any project that might be completed within the stipulated time which I didn't add, you can do well and add it . Awka shopping mall |

Elohimisgood: 'How Lagos High Court Sentenced Me To Death For Crime I Know Nothing About' - Ebonyi State Indigene Cries Out For Help
Ogochukwu, who narrated his ordeal in a video, said he was accused of arranging a robbery attack at a place where he was employed as a security guard (gatekeeper) in the Lekki area of Lagos.
Sampson Ogochukwu, an indigene of Ebonyi State in Nigeria's South-East, currently residing in Lagos, has appealed for help after being sentenced to death by hanging by the Lagos State High Court for a crime he claims he knows nothing about.
According to SaharaReporters , Ogochukwu, who narrated his ordeal in a video, said he was accused of arranging a robbery attack at a place where he was employed as a security guard (gatekeeper) in the Lekki area of Lagos. He said he was arrested in 2017 after his friend he identified as Chuks Viviana Okonkwo from Imo State who made him relocate from Onitsha in Anambra State to Lagos, got the security guard job for him.
Narrating his ordeal, Ogochukwu said,“I was in Onitsha in Anambra State when my friend, Chuks Viviana Okonkwo from Imo State asked me to relocate to Lagos for him to look for a good job for me because I was not doing any reasonable job in Anambra state.
“I came to Lagos in 2017 and he got a job for me at Lekki Phase 1, and I started working there as a security guard.”
However, he said the same friend who got the job for him brought four others to his place of work, tied him with a rope and forced him to take them to his employer, where they robbed his employer and carted away with his employer’s car and other valuables.
He said,“As I was working there, I didn’t know that the boy had another plan till one day, he came to my place of work with four other boys.
“Before I could know what was happening, they overpowered me and tied me with a rope and forced me to take them to the people I was working for.
“I didn’t know what they wanted, so I took them to the people I was working for and they robbed the people I was working for. They stole the people’s car and other things.”
After the robbery, Ogochukwu said the armed robbers forced him into the car trunk and ran away but along the road, they brought him out, gave him N100,000 and asked him to leave Lagos and return to the South-East.
However, he decided to go back to his employer to explain what happened but he got arrested and was accused of being the masterminder of the robbery.
“When they were leaving, they put me inside the car trunk and got to the road, they brought me out and gave me N100,000 and said that if I knew what was good for me, I should run back to the East.
“They ran away and I decided to go back to my place of work to explain to them what happened. When I got there and explained what happened, but they arrested me and called the police.
“I explained to the police but they said I was lying, that all of us arranged for the robbery. I was taken to court and from court I was sent to prison since 2017,”he said in the video.
Ogochukwu further said,“I don’t have anyone. I didn’t even have a lawyer to speak for me in court. But not long after, they tracked and arrested the armed robbers.
“They (armed robbers) told the police that I was not part of them and that I knew nothing about the robbery but the police insisted that I was part of them.
“They (armed robbers) called their people who got lawyers for them and we kept going to court since 2017 and October 31, 2024, the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja discharged the other four persons and sentenced me to death by hanging.
“They said I was the one who brought the armed robbers who came to rob, meanwhile there was nothing like that.”
Pleading for urgent help and intervention by any lawyer to appeal his case, Ogochukwu said,“Please Igbos, help me. I need a lawyer to appeal my case. Please help me. I don’t know anything about this. Please, I’m making this video from inside prison.”
Meanwhile, SaharaReporters called two mobile numbers attached to the video said to be contacts through which Ogochukwu could be reached but they are all not available.

Anambra is good, thanks to these guys but Soludo has not been contributing his quota efficiently. The question which you are running away from is simple "what's Soludo doing?" obviously almost nothing. Go to Soludo's Twitter page, even the good people of anambra are disappointed in him. Are you more Anambra than everyone? You want to keep defending a shitty governor because you are too emotional about Anambra and its making you lose your sense of reasoning. Stop being overly emotional, we all want Anambra to grow, it will be our joy to see that Anambra, a part of Igboland is growing. abuzz33: I was at Anambra Invest last year. The entrance is directly on old Enugu Rd and it was chaos entering and leaving because it interfered with traffic plying that road which is heavy. Expect the same with Fun City.
Clearly the Anambra state Ministry of Works lacks the capacity to design projects from holistic standpoint. It shows in the flyover design in Awka where they chose left angles and convoluted underpass at amawbia, kwatta and arroma which slows and concentrates traffic. Flyovers are built to improve traffic flow and the design in the underpass should have been a roundabout.
Then rather than selecting somewhere like the vast dry ABS land close to the secretariat for the ICC they selected a swamp far from the town which required heavy and expensive sandfilling and will make the parking lot inherently unstable. Then they put the front gate in front of heavy traffic.
Or is it Onitsha Mall where they put the food court on the far end and the anchor tenant on the other and then locked up the nearest entrance to ShopRite to force people to pass by the food court?
The govt makes numerous mistake because they design projects in house with lack of foresight and competence. Going forward they need to award design of projects externally to a competent company and the construction to another competent company. The result is better for everyone.
Go and look at Agodi gardens in Ibadan for example. Designed by an internationally renowned South African company and built by a competent contractor.
As the bible says my people suffer for the lack of knowledge. There is a reason people spend decades studying and practicing architecture, engineering, soil testing, material science, urban planning things important for building projects. Anambra govt should do things properly. I’m not sure you were at Anambra invest last year, cox if you’re you should have noticed that there’s another entrance gate from the other side going towards awka wonderland, the ongoing hotel is towards that side too Then solution fun city has three entrance gate, while the express remains the major entrance You don’t make claims you’re not sure of, desist from that, this is an educative forum. Thanks |

IzunnaOkafor: By Izunna Okafor, Awka
A metal scrap dealer (popularly known as Iron Condemn), Mr. Chinonso Ezekiel Nwaebonyi has been arrested in Anambra State for defiling his neighbour's seven-year-old child in Awka, the capital city of the state.
Aged 30, the suspect, who hails from Ebonyi State was said to have committed the crime no fewer than five times before her parents eventually found out.
It was gathered that the suspect usually commits this beside the fence at the back of their compound.
Confirming this in a statement issued to newsmen on Thursday, Chidimma Ikeanyionwu, the Spokesperson of the State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Welfare, said the defiled girl and her twin brother were born to their parents after ten years of childless, adding that the suspect usually commits the crime on Mondays and Tuesdays when they go to the compound to play.
The statement reads in part: “According to the 7-year-old, she, alongside her twin brother, usually goes over to the next compound to play since the holiday started before the suspect started defiling her. She stated that the suspect has had carnal knowledge of her for about 5 times of which was always on Mondays and Tuesdays.
“The mother of the survivor said she got to know one of the days she came back from work to bathe her kids and discovered that her daughter's private region was swollen.
“On enquiry, she was briefed of what had been going on, and she quickly went to the next compound to complain to the guardians of the suspect after which she took her daughter to a pharmacy before coming to the Ministry.
“Meanwhile, the suspect, who had earlier denied the allegation, later confessed to committing the said crime but only once.
“According to the 30-year-old, he never forced the girl but only asked her to raise her clothes and lie down on the ground.
“It is important to note that the 7-year-old survivor and her twin brother were born to her parents after ten years of childlessness.” Wawa people and disgracing igbos are like 5&6🌚 |

LOVEALAIGBO: With the upcoming 5-star hotel, the area in and around the convention centre needs to be spruced up and made spotless! A dual carriageway needs to be constructed to replace the existing one; it should be lined on both sides with trees; grass should be regularly manicured and watered; a bus shuttle service should operate between the hotel and the airport…running at say 1 hour intervals; and something should be done about that warehouse next door as it lowers the tone of the neighbourhood….if the state gov’t can’t buy it or provide alternative land for the owner, they should plant tall trees that would grow to block out the view….you don’t want to be looking out of your hotel window as you sip your morning coffee to see that! Stop that please, what you called “warehouse “ is a big industry with staff quarters Both the industry and the hotel will be a game changer for ndi Anambra You’re advising governor to demolish a massive industry because of a 5star hotel?? abuzz33: Widening amawbia to ekwulobia is good initiative. Anambra is not a mega city but highly urbanized and requires good transpiration connectivity.
I hope the current govt also establishes a joint rail initiative with Abia , Imo and Enugu to construct a rail line from Enugu - Awka - Onitsha - Owerri - Aba - Port Harcourt. Anambra state might not be a “mega city” yet but it’s attending the status of a mega city gradually. It’s only Anambra state that has multiple cities in Ala Igbo, others have their capitals and maybe one city We don’t need a joint railway that connects other Igbo cities yet, for now a railway that will connects onitsha to awka to Nnewi and probably Ekwulobia will do for now, maybe in the long run we will now include other cities outside Anambra, let’s walk first before flying Btw, prof Charles Soludo is doing marvelously well in Anambra state infrastructural wise, dunno when he will flag off his ten storey 5star hotel and the railway connecting onitsha to awka, those two will forever be his legacy projects. |

ChumzyOma: Senator Ubah Rises as Preferred Choice Amidst Ndi Anambra's Disappointment with Soludo's Leadership
As the 2025 gubernatorial election in Anambra State approaches, Governor Charles Soludo's administration faces mounting criticism for its numerous failures, leading to widespread dissatisfaction among Ndi Anambra. Soludo's selective focus on road projects, widely perceived as politically motivated, has resulted in uneven infrastructure development, neglecting many areas outside his political stronghold. Furthermore, his administration's inability to effectively combat rising insecurity has raised serious concerns about the utilization of federal security funds, causing fear among residents and negatively impacting public events.
In stark contrast, Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has emerged as a strong alternative, actively engaging with Ndi Anambra through pragmatic and community-centred initiatives. Ubah's popularity has surged due to his hands-on approach to addressing pressing issues, including significant improvements in infrastructure, healthcare, and education. He has facilitated the construction and rehabilitation of key roads, sponsored medical outreach programs, established healthcare centres, provided scholarships, and supported school infrastructure projects. This active involvement and commitment to the real needs of the people highlight a stark difference to Soludo's perceived detachment and unfulfilled promises.
As the election nears, Ubah's ambition and vision represent a call for responsive and decisive leadership. His promise of a revitalized Anambra, characterized by inclusive development and strong governance, sharply contrasts with Soludo's lacklustre record. Ubah's focus on community engagement and practical solutions positions him as a beacon of hope for a better future for all Anambra residents. His multifaceted approach not only addresses the immediate needs of his constituency but also contributes to national economic policies, restoring public trust and offering a vision of robust governance and inclusive progress. Ubah's leadership symbolizes a new era for Anambra, one that prioritizes the well-being and development of all its citizens.
Ndi Anambra, we have a better alternative in Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, CON. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Ifeanyi uba is chasing a wide dream which can never be possible 2025, dude will retire from politics because he will even loose his senatorial district |
