Trust we are all doing well. Please can someone guide me regarding the letter I am supposed to get from my current place of work in support of my SOWP application. Please what exactly should the letter contain i.e what's the format, any sample too will be appreciated. Thanks ahead.

I wanted to do same because of the processing time for SOWP. Spouses usually get denied visit visa? What do tou guys think?

I still think you should take the Work Permit route. I applied for TRV 2ce for my wife (to avoid the long processing time for Work Permit) and twice she was denied . It was after this that I applied for Work Permit before she was now granted a visa. A process that should have taken a few months ended up taking over a year.

Apply for the Work Permit (paper application), I hear it's way faster.

Bro, you do well by lifting the spirit.
I applied for my wife too May 16th (online), biometric next day.
She was also asked to do Medical exam, November 23rd.

Waiting for the Medical result to be updated and let's see how long it'll take to get the request for passport.

Has your wife done hers yet?

Just going through this thread now and I know how frustrating the wait is, and the worst is not knowing for how long.

Here is the timeline for my Wife, maybe it would give some of you some respite.

I submitted an open work permit app for my wife on the 23rd of April (online), Biometric on the 29th.

She was just asked to go do the Medical Exam on the 22nd of November. This is looking more like a 7 months process, a far cry from the 17 weeks shown on the website.

Hopefully this processing time reduces. E no easy.
