Inter Milan have made Yaya Toure their number 1 transfer target and are ready to give him a 5-year contract worth over £10million a season in a bid to lure him away from Man City

Meanwhile Toure is on around £210,000-a-week at Man City and has 2 years left on his contract - but the Italian giants are prepared to offer him an incredible deal worth a staggering £54million in total.

City boss Manuel Pellegrini has already insisted publicly they want to keep midfield powerhouse Toure, but they have yet to offer the Ivory Coast international an extension.

It could mean Inter's interest - with City also likely to ask for a big transfer fee - is difficult to resist.
Inter coach Roberto Mancini, who signed Toure for the Blues from Barcelona for £24m in 2010 and made him a key figure in their 2012-13 title-winning side, has made no secret of his desire to reunite with the powerful star.

But it is the mind-boggling figures which prove that Inter mean business, because there had been suspicions over whether they could afford the deal.

Premier League club Hull City have confirmed that they have informed the Football Association of their latest bid to change the club’s name to Hull Tigers.

They had until Wednesday evening to lodge their new application after it was rejected by the FA council last year.
An arbitration tribunal ruled the name should remain Hull City for the time being but that the council’s decision be set aside because of the involvement of the Football Supporters’ Federation chairman, Malcolm Clarke, on the sub-committee that recommended the name change be rejected.

Now the club’s owner, Assem Allam, has formally appealed against the decision and is understood to be hoping to have the new name introduced in time for the start of next season.

“As I’ve said repeatedly, the owner knew weeks ago that he had the right to challenge the appeal and he wanted to just go quiet on it,” said the Hull manager, Steve Bruce.

“There’s no disputing his views have not changed. That’s the kind of man he is so we have to respect those views. For what he has done for the club – and I say this repeatedly – he’s put it on the map a little bit and he’s put his hard earned money so he’s entitled to have his opinion.

“Now you are going to get some, and we’re all traditionalists, that will be opposed to it but hopefully there is a middle ground where everybody can find a solution. I think at the moment we put it to one side and make sure that Hull City/Hull Tigers are going to be in the Premier League next year and we can have that debate in the summer.”

Brighton and Hove Albion has become the 1st English Championship club to provide training and counselling to all its young male and female players in the law and ethics surrounding sexual consent.
This is because in 2013, 4 of the club's players were cleared of sexual assault charges at the Old Bailey.
They were all found not guilty of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old woman at a hotel in Brighton.

About the programme :

The Protect, Inform and Prevent (PIP) programme aims to explain when, in law, consent can be said to have been given.
It involves players taking part in confidential question and answer sessions about their previous encounters and is led by a former police detective and a psychotherapist.

ok can you help me with this current list or a source to it,tnks

of course he does

deife:
Jeez2, he is my brother from another mother. He really deserves it.

Gareth Bale of Real Madrid is the fastest player in the World when running with the ball, reaching a speed of 36.9 km per hour, and he is followed by the 22-year old Damm, capable of reaching 35.25 km per hour with the ball at his feet.

Gareth has surprised everyone by coming out to top the list of the ten fastest footballers in possession of the ball, ahead of Super stars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi;

In fact you have to go down the list as far as number five to find Ronaldo, while the seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth positions are occupied by Messi, Wayne Rooney, Franck Ribéry and Sergio Ramos, respectively.

Today's report has it that Man Utd.'s coach Luis Van Gaal will pocket a bonus of £1m at the end of the season if Manchester United retains the top 4 spot on the EPL table and hence qualify for the Champions league next season.

The club currently leads 5th placed Liverpool with a whooping 5 points following last Sunday’s hugely-significant 2 - 1 victory at Anfield.

United’s owners – the American-based Glazer family – and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward are known to be delighted with Van Gaal’s impact in his first season at the club.

And the Old Trafford paymasters will be happy to reward their experienced manager if he leads them back to the promised land of the cash-rich Champions League.

Manchester City 5 - 0 Newcastle

Ok so Chelsea fans lets face this hard truth..............

we are scared. The question is WHY ?

Manchester City are back on track, after (recently) struggling (to keep up with Chelsea at the top of the Premier league result table) in their previous Premier league matches in the absence of SUPERMAN midfielder Yaya Toure (who went to represent his home country in the AFCON 2015 competition)

They effortlessly beat Newcastle in this game to a 5-0 victory, while the Chelsea side disappointingly drew 1-1 against bottom struggling side Burnley. They are now 5 points below the Premier league top spot which Chelsea currently occupies

This is the 2nd time Manchester City have scored 3+ goals within a very short time interval in the Premier league history (21 minutes). The 1st was 7 minutes v Burnley in April 2010

City's David Silva was involved in 3 goals in this game (2 goals and 1 assist),the first time for him in a single Premier league game

Sergio Aguero has scored in 5 of his 7 Premier league appearances for his club against Newcastle

Aston Villa 1 - 2 Stoke City

Aston Villa have failed to win in any of their previous 11 league games, maybe it's because they are always given red cards in their games.

They are the only Premier league team to have acquired more red cards in matches played in the Premier league this season (a whooping 6 red cards!!!)

Villa's Scott Sinclair scored with a header in this game, his 1st since August 2012

Stoke City's manager; John Gregory is the last permanent manager to win his 1st league game against Aston Villa

Chelsea 1 - 1 Burnley

In this this game,Chelsea conceded from a corner, the 2nd for them in the Premier league all season

They have luckily kept 16 clean sheets in their last 20 home games (kudos!)

Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas is the only Premier league player to have the most assists in the Premier league this season (he has assisted in 15 goals for the club)

Ivanovic has now scored 4 goals in 6 matches for his club (Chelsea)

This is the 2nd time for Burnley to draw against a top-flight team this season, the 1st was (2-2) against Manchester City in late December

Danny Ings has scored in 5 of his last 6 matches for Burnley

Crystal Palace 1 - 2 Arsenal

Palace's Yannick Bolaise made his 100th appearance for the club in this game in all competitions

Arsenal have won 14 of the 26 Premier league matches they have played this season.

Their recent consecutive wins have now seen them progress to the 3rd place on the Barclays Premier league result table, dramatically moving a step above their usual 4th place.

Problem is will this last?

Will Arsenal be consistent and prove themselves to be unmovable like the Chelsea side who have been top since the start of this season ?

Will they maintain this position (and maybe overtake City and Chelsea),or will they enjoy this new position for just this week, seeing that there is just 1 and 2 points differences between them and Manchester United (4th place) and Southampton (5th place) respectively.

All I can say for now is; lets keep our hopes high, our fingers crossed and watch as the Premier league battle moves into the 27th week

Oliver Giroud in this game, scored his 50th goal for Arsenal in all competitions

Carzola has scored more penalties in the Premier league this season, more than any other player in the Premier league

Arsenal lost in this game because they clearly underrated the Monaco side and besides, they defended poorly in this game;Monaco's 2nd goal was counter-attack.
and this Monaco side....hmmmm i no understand them self...every player na attacker and defender at the same time ?
Quite frankly, they had a very good defence in this game and were far better than the Arsenal side
