. Thanks a lot. I should have added prior to my previous reply that I'm a big fan of bodybuilding.com myself, and a member of Bodyspace too. I tried buying but they didn't have Nigeria in the dropdown for contries they ship to. I remember seeing Namibia and was disappointed. I wanted to buy an entire stack but that just took the stuffing out of me. As I don't have people who can help me bring it down here, I'll rather just send a mail to the customer service unit at amazon.com. I'll have to add that I have a dealer at Idumota though, and we've done business twice. He comes relatively cheap, now that I know the Game's a mega rip off store. But I'm very reluctant to do business with him this time 'cos of the danger in fake health products. The first person that replied to this thread; Geoforever, dropped his number and offered to help me with some place, but he's never picked up his calls. Few days ago I saw a missed call from him. *shrugs* |
Oh really? Wooow. Not that's some "rip off" there. I tried buying online too but I didn't get the hang of it properly. I ordered 5lb Whey Gold standard at about $25.9 from amazon.com. But then my friend told me I had to send the product to a shipping company first, and that the shipping company'd ship it down to my adress in Nigeria and collect their shipping charges at the point of delivery. I was a bit confused, cos I always thought all I had to do was enter the address on my Mastercard and pronto, amazon includes shipping fees and totals it and deducts the sum from my Mastercard. I bought a jersey from ManUtd online store a while ago and all I did was enter my details and stuff. I didn't bother about any headache. I'll like to hear your say on this, the site you used and the general method of online procurement inclusive of shipping process. I hope you'll prove my friend wrong. Thanks a lot. God Bless Nairaland. |
Echala. I stormed the Palms yesterday and checked the Game out. Their sports and health aisle was fillllllllled with supplements like you said. Huge bucket-sized to small pocket sized range of supplements. The lowest 5LB there was N9650. Very fair bargain. I went to HealthPlus too but they had about just 10 supplements with none in 5LB. I'll be picking from the Game sometime today. I'm typing this at midnight. Thanks a lot man. Spicywax. Could you please elaborate on these terms? "Rip-off" and "mega". 'Cos I'm not familiar with them. Thanks. |
Thanks Echala. I check MedPlus and HealthPlus at Shoprite Adeniran Ogunsanya. I found a few products but they were the biggest sizes; 5LB They went for like 28k and 30k. I'll definitely be at the Palms tomorrow and I'll check the Health and fitness aisle at THE GAME. I'll also check HealthPlus and MedPlus. Thanks a lot. God Bless Nairaland. |
Woow Vixen! Thanks a whole lot! Yeah, I already had it in mind to check out the health shops in Palms and Adeniran Ogunsanya shopping complex. I looked up some stores online and I found out that MedPlus, HealthPlus and Sportsshop had outlets in Palms. I'll check out these shops as soon as I can. Thanks a lot and God Bless. |
Ok. Thanks a lot. But why don't you just put the address of the place here? |
Hello Nairaland! I'm an avid fitness lover and I want to add mass and get leaner. I've used quite a few supplements to good effects but I'll like to try new ones. I've tried to do a few procurements online but it'll take about a month for the shipment to get to Nigeria. I'll like to know where I can get any body building supplements in Lagos, most especially Whey protein products. |
Thanks at all. . God Bless us all. |
Depends on what medium you're using to browse. If you're browsing with a laptop it's a bit tough, but if you're browsing with a mobile(e.g Blackberry) just scroll down and you'll see "Start new topic". |
I know this thread mighn't adequately convey how thankful I am, but I hope it goes a bit of the way in telling the administrators of this site that Nairaland has been of ineffable help to some of us. May God increase you in all spheres. God Bless you. Nairaland o ni baje oo! |
I just wanna say a big Thank You to all especially jjjkkkooo. I was eventually able to recover my files. God Bless Nairaland. God Bless you. |
That reminds me. Who knows the website to the Nigerian online store "Veni vici"? |
Thanks blackweaver. Thanks Nairaland. God Bless us all.AMEN |
@denzel2009. Lemme break it down to you in simple terms. Never say something is 'impossible'. NEVER. You and so many other tech savvy people I know told me I couldn't recover my files. For the records, I didn't. I recovered every single file that has ever ever graced my hard disk in it's 3years of existence. Over 1.5million files, and only about 5% were corrupt. What d'you say about 'impossibility' now? |
@blackweaver, i've succesfully downloaded the testdisk file. thanks. I cant wait to get home to try it out. ![]() |
@blackweaver yes I've tried testdisk. I saw your previous reply. However the testdisk zip folder says that it is invalid and it won't open. I've downloaded it a number of times and it still says the same thing. |
Hi Skydancer and all, please I formatted my laptop and I need to recover the files. I've found a recovery software which is Scavenger. However I need the license key before I can recover my files. I'll be glad if you can help me with it or with any other recovery software at all. Thanks. |
I did a complete format and new OS installation on my HP 6735s laptop. Prior to format, I did a backup of my files but unfortunately I didn't backup my picture folder. I have(had) an incredible picture database that dates back to 2004. It's one of my dearest tresures, a true collector's item. I know of 'undelete' applications that can recover files that were accidentally deleted permanently by rewriting them back into space. But in my case here it's a complete format. Still I've heard of powerful RECOVERY softwares that can recover any file that has ever graced any system's hard disk. |
Loooooooool @ femus! |
Hmmmmmn |
Hmmmmmmmn. Thanks for the reply jjjkkkooo. Are you an engineer? And where can I get you? I should put a call across to you soon. |

Thanks guys for really tackling this issue. Considering the popularity of the Blackerry in Nigeria and moreso the erratic state of our power supply, it's quite appalling that Solar chargers haven't properly invaded the phone market in Nigeria. In due time I believe, we'll have them everywhere. Lolatin. That link's a dud link. Please be more specific, give us a link or a direct contact we can call for purchase. Thank you. Happy new month to y'all. God Bless. |
Thanks a lot people. But I don't have time on my side and I need it urgently. Any one who offers hand to hand sales would be a better idea. Trying to contact the manufactures would be a long thing. I've seen it twice, so I have cause to believe I'd find it somewhere, somehow. Thanks y'all for the inputs. More suggestions and answers are still welcome to this thread. God Bless. |
