Jamie90: If 4k is the price to drive from Allen to Shomolu, then I am better off investing in Keke. Even a northerner driving keke at opebi won’t take that price to shomolu. ... Omo investing in keke is actually better, fairly used keke less than 2m wey you put for road can easily give you 8k-12k daily around 48k- 72k weekly, while naija used camry or corolla wey you buy 4m-5m, weekly rental of 60k-70k na war omo |

Sukkyy2010: Hello everyone,
Please I need an advice with undiluted truth and fact. I'm on the verge of taking the last one chance of my life to make an end meet after several attemp taken failed, but this time I can't afford to make any mistake like the preceded one.
I have 6million naira as my total liquidity or my entire financial worth and I'm currently considering going into E-hailing business and used the money to get myself a ride to kick start the business.
I don't want to be over optimistic with this my investment choice, so I decided to come here to seek honest advice from the people in this community who are Into the business to advise me as a brother.
My question:
Does the business still worth doing and invest all I've got into it? although I'm optimistic but optimism is not enough feelings for taking a decision without considering the other side outcome.
Please your heartfelt advice will be much appreciated, Thanks God bless! ... carry like 3.5m-4m buy small car we no dey chop fuel and easy to maintain.. use the remaining 2m maybe invest am for treasure bill, no use all your money buy car oo.. Insha Allah in the next 9-12months u don recoup ur capital.. |

I may not advice you to marry with 100k salary, though it's doable, am very sure that more than 70% of nigeria don't earn 100k .. if you marry your wife make sure she is earning at least 80k-100k monthly.. so una go manage together with 180k income, don't give birth to more than one child,... Family total income-2.160m House rent-average a room selfcon-300k per annum.. Feeding- buy your foods in bulk- like 50k monthly.. Transportation-20k monthly.. Nepa bill-10k Miscellaneous-40k monthly Savings-30k monthly.. |

Sometimes when I see some comments here I just dey shake head dey laugh, hustle wey you dey earn like 40k-60k on average, 15k-30k on a very bad day, with savings of 4m-6m yearly driving ur own car... for a country like 9ja where 65% of its population lives below 2.15 dollars per day, less than 100k per month.. I will say that an average e-hailing driver wey know wetin he dey do, earns more than 90% of Nigerian population.. |

Please I’ve been using my Lexus is 250 for bolt/inDrive for like 2 weeks now and I make like 20/30/40k daily (after commission and fuel) depending on how the day is and how much I can work for the day. Please house I need your advice on the suitable car you can suggest I go for within that price that can serve me for the job. Thanks and God bless you all .. u can get a clean 9ja used 2005-2007 honda civic 3m-3.5m, maybe budget like 500k-1m for repairs since na naija used.. go with ur trusted mechanic, the truth is that, this is one of the best car for this hustle very easy to maintain, parts are relatively cheap, fuel consumption very low.. |

We all know how much we dey make weekly and monthly on a low,we know 40k rentals weekly is a crime. .. person go buy fairly 9ja used civic or corolla 4m-5m come dey get 40k weekly how long will it take to recover ur investment, I never even include cost of car repair or maintenance.. when my keke (maruwa) dey remit 10k daily , 50k weekly rental.. Any e-hailing driver wey e dey hard to do 60k-80k weekly rental should check what he/she is not doing well.. unless ur car is not sound.. |

reverendfather: Giving out my Honda accord 2011 4plug to a friend to use for Uber on office hours and weekend. Is it something that can get us both 400k at the end of the month as profit?
He gets to drop me off at Ikeja, at 6:30am and then goes out to hustle with it and comes back maybe from around 7 or 8pm daily and on weekends, I let him use it, but on Sundays I may only grant him access from 12pm after church movements.
Is 400k doable as profit that we can both share either equally or depending on the minor charges.
On my car, 70litres can easily take me a distance of 350 to 400miles.
My location is Lagos .. the best option na to give the guy the car on rental like 75k weekly, he can easily net that 400k in 2 weeks, maybe he handles minor repairs, major repairs like 50-50.. or maybe u can hustle with the car urself, drive only on weekends u can even net 300k-400k monthly just driving on weekend, but your body go tell u |

Glithronix: @pearl191 One of the trips I did today. Rider accepted. I drove to PU 9mins (based on traffic). Was it a good or bad trip, based on the naira/km and, or, time to destination? Nobody is an island of knowledge, I can learn and take corrections.
Much respect, boss. As for me most of this ride prices are ridiculous, but wetin man go do naa, personally I prefer long distance trips more, u know say most drivers na family men, people still on higher purchase.. They have to meet their daily target naa, for you to take home like 45k-60k daily, let say u take this type of long distance trip ... 15k*6 trips =90k gross.. take home after fuel like 30k-40k, then maybe you fit collect small short trips to met your daily target maybe make extra 15k-20k..For me to break even for this hustle with this their ridiculous prices you have to know when to take long and short distance trips.. The truth is that this hustle no dey that lucrative again, to take home like 40k-80k now u have to put in more hours like 8-12hours.. |

Only a man on kolos will pump 4M into bolt/Indrive and expect to break even in six months, I.e a real mad man. He can make that (if he chooses to sleep on the road on a day to day), quite possibly, having 500k in his bank account in six months is a different story entirely...
