I asked a friend who just traveled and she said didn’t cause it’s invalid in Australia, she just got one over there.

But another said I have to get 2 police checks, one in Nigeria and another in Australia.

Please what’s the correct thing to do?

My sponsor was asked to make it 13-16 million.

A friend of mine was asked to make his 20 million.

Hello, please I have a question

A friend of mine who applied to Torrens was denied visa this morning. Reason for the denial was because they don’t believe he has genuine access to the funds in his sponsor’s account. His sponsor is his in-law.

His agent is saying that they send them mails with stronger proof of relationship with sponsor because that is their reason for the refusal but he doesn’t know which is better between that or to just reapply.

The cas officer that handled his visa application was Suzan.

Please we need advice. What can he do??

Please it’s urgent. Who has any information on this??

Go ahead and apply, everybody has their own situation/luck. You waiting for whatever how long you want to, won't change the fact that if you merit it you will get it or you will get it because you waited. And you applying now does not mean that because they refused theirs your too will be refused.

They probably didn't show enough GTE to qualify them. Is your case thesame?

And also please when did they apply and when were they denied.

My GTE is good. They applied last week of October.

When filling your application for visa online there is a space to write a short GTE statement of 300 words. You cant pass it the limit. The rest characters begins to show red. Like twitter tweets when you pass character limit.

That is what it is referring to. Aside that one you fill online. Rule says you can attach a supporting statement. Thats the one that can be lengthy. No limit.

So I dont think they were denied because of that you cant even go further if you type above 300 words.

Right now, I’m really confused on whether I should go ahead and lodge or I should wait because the ones that were denied, there was no reason given to them. It’s really confusing.

My agent lodged my visa recently and the SOP was more than 300 words. very lengthy. I want to assume this does not matter. They can't be denied for this because this is not the only requirements. +

I have a question please.

There’s this new rule on home affairs website concerning having SOP with just 300 words. I don’t know if anyone else has seen that. It’s been on the site for 2 weeks now.
My agents got 2 students visa denied and no reason was given so they don’t know if it’s because of the sop issue.

Is there anyone that is yet to lodge his/her visa because of the 300 word SOP policy?

Torrens asked that I sign a consent form to begin online next year if my visa application isn’t done by the February start date. I can only get my COE issued when I sign this form.

Was your visa application refused if so, you will see a space there for that reason tick it. Make sure submit your refusal email to the school.

My visa wasn’t refused. I haven’t even lodged one yet.

I requested for refund from torrens was asked to fill form which i did, form for withdrawal and refund up to 3weeks now nothing yet, they said it takes time to get a refund.

I would advise you to start applying to some other school now, once u get offer and still yet to hear from Torrens university, ask for refund... The school is really not worth it anymore.. better still, if you can apply to more expensive school and save yourself all this delay..

your Ecoe should not take more than a week after payment of your fees my thought is on your admission or offer letter is your course online or face to face ,if it is online an Ecoe will not be issued.Keep on calling the admissions team of your school they will be better placed to sort you out cheers….

I didn’t option for online schooling. I made it very clear to them when they brought the offer. I declined.

Brother keep sending them mails even if they know you’re desperate it won’t reduce your chance far as it’s in a respectful manner it won’t reduce ur chances of visa or coe it evens shows you’re eager and a serious minded person.

Please I have an issue, it’s been close to a month now and I am yet to receive my COE from my school (Torrens) after paying fees.
I declined starting online and asked to defer to next year but it’s been too much hassle from Torrens ever since.
I’ve sent emails across multiple times and my agents too has been following up but there’s no positive response yet.

I don’t know if there’s anyone that is experiencing such from Torrens as well.

Should I keep emailing the school concerning my COE? I’m really desperate for answers and feedback.

I got a call from the Torrens agent this morning, he explained that I wouldn’t be deferred to February because it will affect me in lodging my visa application and getting a grant. He further explained that I wouldn’t be getting any grant this year till January or February next year if I’m being given a COE that is bearing February date. So I’ll be getting my COE with the September date but will be allowed to begin my course in February.

I spoke to my agent about it and she said it’s not true (about me not getting a grant this year if I get COE bearing February start date).
It’s really confusing.

Please is there anyone that has any idea what I can actually do. Please any opinion or idea about this issue will be appreciated �.

Prior to lodging my visa application, I’d like to make some enquiry.

Given the reasons I intend to state as to why I will be returning back to Nigeria, is it advisable to add that My father has a business (no relation to my course of study) which I will be coming back to work in and that my mum is a registered nurse and I have worked alongside her (volunteering) so I intend to come back and get a full time job at the workplace.

Kindly defer your admissions, because you have not time again to apply for visa..

Go ahead with your tuition payment. You ain't going to be question again for GTE assessment.

Do you have any idea when I should be required to pay for my OSHC??
