May God help you to move Isoko - north to an enviable state it ought to be among it peers. A lot needs to be done. You may either write your name in Gold or follow suit the steps of your predecessors. A word is enough for a wise. All I can do for now is to pray for you.

Rivers, Delta, Akwa Ibom etc are as rich as Lagos. PDP has been governing those states since 1999 with little or nothing to show for it in terms of modern development and transformation.

Rivers, Delta, Anambra and Abia also have the potential to generate as much internal revenue as Lagos but no, the PDP rulers are only interested in stealing oil allocations and not improving the states.

As for Ebonyin, the comparison based on revenue alone is illogical. What is the population of Ebonyin? If the population that the Lagos state government has to deal with is the population size of Ebonyin, the state would look like Dubai today. With over 25million people to provide for, the state is still better governed than Ebonyin with less than 2million people.

Don't over rate Lagos.
Lagos was a Federal capital territory.
Enjoyed a lot of colonial influence, schools, hospitals, tax system, etc. It baffle me when people compare Lagos to some other state. Majority of the developed areas in Lagos had one time enjoy Federal presence. That's just the truth.

Politicising employment is the greatest problem affecting Nigeria currently. It has messed and thrown competence into the bin. Every sector is fill with incompetent people who know one person that is connected with someone inside power. God will help Nigeria.
