I will kindly suggest you use the West Africa or East first, before proceeding forward to other countries, mostly now that the country passport is been as nothing,and the holder a scammer.

Having multiple stamps of Ghana, Cotonu and Togo you can add Ivory coast to it,then proceed forward to Singapore, depending on your financial capacity,will go a long way.

East Africa,Rwanda is visa free. Kenya,just get your ETA,and you are good to go.

There was this time around last year, I was just outside my workplace and there’s this woman that sells bole and fish along the road. It’s been pouring all day and at that evening it was just a drizzling rain and I was about to head back inside cause it was very late and this woman always loves me around time like that cause she was always very scared of the night. She was just about packing up her left goods and me getting ready to head back inside cause I was working night duty. Lo and behold, I heard a vehicle ram into a body. This woman selling ran away as fast as she could and started screaming at the top of her scared shocked voice, a mini bus had just crashed into a girl late into her teens. Everyone started dispersing shouting she was dead and that in no way would she survive it. I had to man up and help her out of the drainage she was hit into. It was a horrible hit and run. While struggling to pick her out of this water-filled ditch no one came up to help me but alas one girl from the hostel just right around came to help and her friend joined. As I laid her back flat on the road first thing I did was to check if she was still breathing, (never stopped imagining how dumb me could stay composed and not panic) and well she was and it appears she only had a massive cut right below her right elbow, well maybe a one or two broken bones but only the cut was visible. The two girl that came to help called a keke and was taken to the a small clinic that was closest which was the clinic of those girls college. I kept telling her to keep her eyes open regardless of how hard it can be for her which she did (cause me nor want make pesin pikin kpai for my hand o 😂). We made it there and wow Nigeria is f***ed. The only thing they could do was talk and give her a shot of painkillers. The girls that helped me paid for her admission card and called her parent from her phone which she struggled to open from her pattern lock and luckily her dad’s got a keke as well. She was later taken to Uniben and she survived and we still see till this day and she always thank me everyday. I was just happy I was there to help and it didn’t went south on me.I can never forget that day, my shirt was dripped in human blood, I saw a human bone fresh with flesh hanging from it. I almost threw up bro. Horrible graphic sight. We are nothing just an animal with a soul thats all we are!

For real bro, I don’t know a thing about SA visas, if it was the US or Europe I pretty much know a lot about it but the former I don’t. And btw I haven’t gotten a visa yet, I’m just gathering my facts and knowledge about the whole thing for now before I start. Go through the entire thread, you’ll definitely get something that pertains to your case.

Yes you can apply for US visa from any country they have embassy.
I have applied for us visa from London while on UK visitor visa. Just be ready to answer extra questions on why you couldn't apply from country of your residence.

I’ll try and see how to get a SA visitors visa for at least 8 wks and how fast one can get an appointment for a US visitors visa while in SA already. I only have one shot at this and I won’t screw it up 🙏🏿

You CAN apply for a US visa from Cape Town. Upon booking an appointment, they'll ask if you are coming from another country to apply for the visa, your response will determine the appointment date they'll give you, as they prioritize citizens and residents.

That being said, any individual can apply for a US visa from any country as long as they are legally in that country, irrespective of status. However, those who apply in countries where they are not citizens or permanent residents may likely be refused. They also have to provide reasons other than convenience or unavailability of appointment in their usual country of residence.

I can however tell you for free that US visa interviews in Cape Town and many other parts of the world are a lot easier than Nigeria.

GIVE IT A SHOT. Just give them plenty reasons why you'll return to Nigeria at the end of your visit. And make sure you haven't overstayed your SA visa at the time of your interview.

You can also apply from Mozambique, Lesotho or Botswana. US Embassy in Botswana attends to none-residents only on the second and third Thursday of the month.

I know I might likely be refused as well but I’m being optimistic as to I got a better chance there than here. I don’t know how fast one could get a visa appointment there coz the vacation will only last for a week or so but mind you I wouldn’t apply for a visa that short, probably like 8-12 weeks yunno cause I need the time for the entire process and I’d like to know everything about the SA visa application here. If you wouldn’t mind I’d like you to help me a bit there cause I’m totally naive about how SA embassies and visa works or anyone who could. Thanks any positive inputs is highly appreciated 🙏🏿

Just FYI Sir, you would need to provide a cogent reason why you can't apply for US Visa from your home country or where you are resident. Unfortunately, Visitor's visa holders in SA are not considered resident.
For most countries, they won't even allow you submit the application, for US, you may be allowed to submit but there is a very high chance of denial.
Just have that in mind when going to SA assuming you and your friend find a miraculous way of convincing the SA consulate about the relationship which is actually another difficult part. It's hard enough for SA citizens to sponsor Nigerians right now, let alone someone that's not even a citizen trying to sponsor/invite a Nigerian especially if you don't have a good travel history (apologies if my assumption here is wrong)

Everything is possible though but have these points in mind.

What I was looking forward to was to either stay there for a few years and find my path to the US. And my question is what and how do I process the entire thing starting from the visiting visa process to SA and how I can overturn that into a residential or any type of visa that can make my stay permanent for a while there.
