Culture / Reward Hardworking Pure Water Sellers Not Lazy Beggars. by jerrydelight(m): 12:59pm On Jan 15, 2016
I Just Interviewed 3 Pure Water Sellers In
Central Area Abuja, And According To
Them: Sometimes, It Takes About 6 Hours
To Sell 20 Sachets Of Water Which Amounts
To A Total Of N200 (1Dollar).
From The N200, The Profit Is Only About
N40 As The Pure Water Sellers Have To Pay
The Wholesalers Their Money Back As Well
As Cover The Price For Ice Block Which Was
Used To Cool The Water.

The Long And Short Of It Is That Some Of
Them Make Only N40 In 6 Hours Of
Hustling Under The Hot Sun, Risking Their
Lives On Major Express Roads And Always
At The Mercy Of The Environmental
Protection Board Who Whip Them With
Cane When Caught; Burst Their Water
Sachets To The Ground And Fine Them
N5,000.

As If That Isn't Bad Enough, When
Passengers And Drivers Reach The Traffic
Stops, They Prefer To Dash N100, N200 Or
Even N500 To Beggars And Fake Sufferers
Who Sometimes Make About N1,500 A Day
Doing Nothing But Begging, Leaving Them
Richer, Luckier And Safer Than The Pure
Water Sellers Who Are Young Entrepreneurs
ServingThe Larger Community With Their
Trade, And Trying To Make Ends Meet.
So When Next You Are At A Traffic Stop,
Please:

1. Dash The Pure Water Seller Instead

2. Buy Pure Water To Patronise Them And
If The Change Is (N10, Or Even N20, You
Can Leave It With Them)

3. Say Something Nice To Them. Greet
Them, Encourage Them.

4. Slow Down, Don't Knock Them Down.

5. Even If You Wont Buy The Pure Water, If
They Ask You To Buy, Rather Than Ignoring
Them And Facing Front As If They Are Not
Humans, You Can Look At Them, Smile And
Say "Thank You"

Religion / The Principle Governing The Making Of Vows by jerrydelight(m): 12:51pm On Jan 03, 2016
After the Sunday school one
beautiful Sunday morning with
topic centered on how to
experience divine favour in
another sense how to receive
favour from God, much emphasis
was laid on sacrificial giving i.e
giving that costs you something,
not just anything but something so
dear to you that you can't part
with easily.
Someone asked about making a
vow i.e waiting to receive before
giving ( giving only when one must
have received).

it actually made
sense that you can receive great
blessings from God by the reason
of your vow but the problem is in
paying the vow after receiving.
It takes a man/woman that truly
fears God pay or fulfill his vow
because we tend to easily forget the
vows we made in difficult situation
when we come out of such
situations .

God does not often respond to
request we make with Vows if we
have at hand that which we are
vowing to give when we receive
because unlike Sacrificial giving
which is based on faith, vows are
based on trust. God gives, in this
case trusting that you will fulfill
your vows so if you have what you
are vowing to give at hand but
holds back, waiting for God to act
first it means that you don't trust
God and how do you expect Him
to trust that you fulfill your vows if
you don't trust him that he will
give.

I have heard from some quarters
that the reason why they often
make vow and hold back waiting
for God to act first is because if
they fail to fulfill their vows, God
can easily take back what he has
given but if they act first and God
did not respond, they will be the
one at loss and that is the result
for the lack of trust.

God usually acts first if what you
are vowing to give is not at hand
but dependent on what you are
asking for so he gives trusting that
you will pay / fulfill your vows.
Hannah as well the Jephthah and
the other prominent men and
women that received the
blessings / favour of God because
of the vows they made, received
because what they were vowing to
give were dependent on what the
were asking.

Hannah vowed to dedicate the
child she is asking for to the
service of God all the days of his
life, she was vowing to give from
what she will be given. Jephthah's
vow was dependent on his victory,
if he had lost the battle none from
his house will come out to
welcome him i.e if he didn't perish
in the battle field. Etc
Hence in other to receive that which
you are requesting from God with a
vow, what you are vowing to give
must be be dependent on what you
are expecting to to receive. But if
you have what you are vowing to
give at hand trust God and act first
for he that putteth his trust in the
LORD shall be made fat.(Pro.
28:25b)

I remember seeing them in a banger Pack now know as knockout and there a reward for gathering a complete squad.

Religion / Is This Message Actually From Pastor E. Adeboye? by jerrydelight(m): 1:50pm On Dec 22, 2015
Rapture  Alert: By Papa Adeboye - Religion

D end is HERE
ADEBOYE'S TESTIMONY
I saw it again. This time more scary. The end-time is more than nigh. It will happen like a flash unexpected and time shall be no more for repentance. In my dream, it was as if God shut his ears.I saw multitude of people running into a church. But inside that church, screaming and shouting everywhere; people making utterances to heaven. Behold it was as if a strange spirit entered into some people more clearly, I remember seeing an old man who was beside me whom the said spirit entered into and as he let out a cry, he disappeared and few other people. At that point, I realised that the rapture has taken place. I cried the more. Immediately, the devil took over and started making mockery of the left over Christians. He had a register of everyone's name... At this point, I woke up. The end is more than near. What breaks my heart the most is that many people in the church will not make it if Jesus comes now? Many are unaware that the end is near. Don't tell me that it's advancement in technology or development. If any area of your life is not in sync with God's word - Repent and be converted. If you miss heaven you can never miss hell...think about it. Hell is not a pretty place. the worst part is that it is for eternity... Don't keep this message and don't get annoyed when u receive this; just do the whole world a favour and keep broadcasting the Lord Jesus coming; u might save a lost soul. Please rather than post and forward senseless messages, send to everyone you know. Do the work of an evangelistPLEASE SHARE THIS MESSAGE WITH ALL YOUR CONTACTS. Have you ever wondered what would have happened if we treat the Holy Bible the way we treat our mobile phone? And we really can't live without it. Only 7% will re-send this message. Don't be among the 93% who will not share the message. Satan said "I wonder how humans claim to Love God and disobey Him, and claim that they hate me yet they obey me.'' Do not send later send now, tomorrow may be late. God bless you as you do so!!!!!!!!!!⏳⏳

This message has been shared over and over again across the social media especially "WHATSAPP" and I have been wondering, is it actually from pastor Adeboye ?

Religion / Why It Seems Your Sacrifices Are Not Been Appreciated. by jerrydelight(m): 9:06am On Dec 10, 2015
I woke up this morning with feelings in my
guts, "why must I have to die/suffer daily
for a people that don't know the extent to
which i go for their welfare?". Am a kind if
person that is ready to die for another to
live, I don't usually care what it will cost me
so long as it will save some one from
destruction or dying and usually don't
expect anything in return, not even a thank
you. I have been okay with this all this
while but don't understand why this feeling
today.

It was a thought of - must you always be
the one? Why not let others taste the
burden too? So they will understand what
sacrifices is all about.

It is unfortunate to say that most times we
appear to be conscious and make fuss of the
sacrifices we make for other but unconscious
of the greater sacrifices others are making
for us or on our behalf.

If you are making
sacrifices and the people to whom you are
making those sacrifices seems not to
recognize or appreciate them, it is because
you are not recognizing the sacrifices of
others for you.

Sometimes when people make sacrifices for
we us we see it as been lucky, blessed or
favored.

In as much as you appear to be
dying daily for someone or people, know
also that there are people dying for you on
a daily basis, when you quit dying for them,
others will also do same and both of you
will perish.

The spirit world don't have kingdoms grin Sorry I laughed! It's shocking how poorly taught we Africans are. We should be schooling other races on the concepts of Spirituality.

1. You cannot lose your salvation because no one needs saving. This realm we are is a learning school for everyone. Although it is a realm of "limitations" but we are all fine.

2.Salvation is not like obtaining Citizenship. Lets not forget you OP are a Citizen of Nigeria and of the Planet. You were born with it! You don't need to obtain anything.

3 Jesus is not your savior. You don't need a Savior, neither was he once a citizen of darkness. Take the name "Jesus" out and put your name there, then it will make more sense.

4 the spirit world have no 2 kingdoms but unlimited levels of consciousness. Think of energy fields. Some energy particles are more potent than others. The higher you go the stronger it becomes. That is why your level of energy charge determines where you will fit in. Some are closer to the source than others. It is fair to say we are almost in darkness on this planet due to misinformation. All you need is to move into the light and that's it. No one needs a savior, maybe perhaps an alarm clock to let you know when to wake up.

And lastly the Spiritual realm is neutral. It is slightly leaning towards the positive and yet at equilibrium.

i didnt know how delusional some people can be

Religion / Can One Lose His Salvation? by jerrydelight(m): 9:37pm On Dec 09, 2015
a lot hs been said about salvation been lost and it been eternal but after a lecture on citizenship i have come to realize that Salvation is like Citizenship and Citizenship as we all know can be gotten through Naturalization,Birth, Marriage and "CAN ALSO BE LOST" through the following general factors applicable to all nations; *Renunciation (voluntary loss). *Treason. * Affiliation with enemy country.

Salvation like citizenship is gotten simultaneously through naturalization ( Willfully accepting / believing in Christ Jesus. John 11:25-26, 12:39), Birth ( being born again of the Spirit. John 3:3-6, 1Pet. 1:23) and marriage ( Companionship / Communion with the Holy Spirit. Rom. 8:1,4).

These processes of receiving salvation occurs simultaneously. Prior to a Christian's encounter with Christ Jesus, he was a citizen of the Kingdom of darkness (hell or of the world) John 8:23, 15:19, 1Pet.2:10,but after his encounter with Christ Jesus he was translated from darkness to light (1Pet. 2:9),sealed with the Holy Spirit to guarantee your rights in the Kingdom ( Eph. 1:13:14) hence owing no allegiance whatsoever to darkness but now to light. By accepting Jesus Christ into his life, he automatically renounced his worldly citizenship.

The spirit world, unlike this physical world, has just but two Kingdom; light(heaven) and darkness(hell) which are in constant opposition to one another and one can only belong to one at a time.

There is no neutrality in this spiritual citizenship, when you are not against one kingdom , it means you for it. Matt. 12:30, SALVATION CAN BE LOST in the same manner citizenship is lost i.e through;
*Renunciation of one's faith in Christ Jesus. This means rejecting or relinquishing every rights and privileges of being in Christ Jesus. Heb. 6:4-6, 12:15-17.
*Treason (Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost). Matt. 12:31-32, Eph. 4:30
*Willful sin, (serving the flesh which is against the spirit ). Heb. 10:26, Exo. 32:33.

If the theory of once saved always saved was to be true, there won't be any word of God speaking of erasing names from the book of life which is the assurance of salvation (Phil. 4:3). Due to the fact that written and sealed assurance of salvation can be broken and erased ( Exo. 32:32-33, Rev. 3:5, hence Salvation can be lost.

read cyprian ekwensi's works, they talk about such things a lot.
if you are referring to the passport of mallam Illya by Cyprian Ekwensi I haVe read it.
that spirit that makes it hard to let go is a product of the feeling of inferiority. feeling of inferiority in the sense of feeling cheated, which aggravate the obsession of getting even.
Religion / Complex Of Inferiority is what it Makes Hard To Forgive. by jerrydelight(m): 7:56pm On Dec 02, 2015
If you are finding it difficult to forgive anyone who offends you, it implies that you are suffering from the complex of inferiority because, the forgiver is always superior to the offender.
Forgiveness is an act of showing one's superiority over an offence / offender, So if you can't forgive, it simply shows that you are no way better than the offender.

If you are finding it difficult to ask for forgiveness from anyone you 've / might have offended, it implies that you are suffering from the complex of Immaturity because, only the matured have the boldness / courage to approach anyone they offend and ask for forgiveness.
Some say that pride is what makes it hard to ask for forgiveness but the truth is, Pride is a manifestation of immaturity.
Asking for forgiveness is a way of showing your maturity.
What is so hard in "am sorry, forgive me"?.
