Tough but not impossible. You can change your status through marriage to a citizen.

Apart from getting married to an Irish citizen, are you trying to say that there are no other means of converting your tourist visa to a long stay visa or work visa?
Like I learnt in some European countries, you will have to pay and do all formal registration and documentation. plz kindly help verify this. Thanks.
