Rindo69:
In Nigeria, government is the largest employer. This is why our government offices are filled with the most mediocre people and nothing works. The work of government isnt to employ, the work of government is to create an enabling environment that triggers growth, growth in an economy generates jobs! You cannot pay 70k a month minimum wage and expect growth. Growth comes from consumption, you earn more, you spend more. You spend more, factories and manufacturers have to produce more. In order to produce more, they employ more people!

I agree with the bolded. You are very much correct.

Ah ah!
We finally catch him. You think you're wise.
This time you won't be lucky if indeed you're guilty.
Anyman that can't cough out money for women is sinning against God.
Spoil us with money and things will be smooth for you.

Omoh! If I get bad dream tonight, na you ooo.

NassBoy:
I'm posting this here in order to get more clarifications regarding this recruitment exercise by the federal government of Nigeria.

So, sometime in March, I applied for same job when it was announced. I applied and I prayed for success. Just four days ago, a friend whom we applied same day, called to inform me that the lists of shortlisted candidates have been released and that I should check the Portal. But before I checked, I asked about his own status and he said he wasn't Shortlisted. When he said this, I instantly lost hope. I told him there was no point checking it because I already knew I would not be shortlisted too, so what's the point checking?. He insisted that I check. I was nervous.
To my surprise, I finally checked and saw that I was shortlisted. And I can only pray that I succeed after all. To God be the glory.

For those who are already in the system, how are these things done?.
Secondly, I heard exams/aptitude test would be next, but no date has been fixed yet. Does anyone know the Exact date?
Thirdly, what and what do I need to study ahead of the test?. What are the kind of questions involved? I was told it's Mathematics, English and current affairs. How true is this?
Lastly, how much is the salary for starters when you get a federal civil service job. I can see Grade Level 8 on the dashboard. Does this mean that if I succeed(by God's grace), I would start from level 8?

Let no fake pastor or prophet discourage you. Be courageous and have faith in God. I am also shortlisted: Ministry of Education. Please, in case you have any past question soft copy, help me with it. 🙏🙏🙏

I just rechecked what you applied for. You are the first person that applied the same position I applied for on this platform. Here is my whatsapp number 07068031195

Chasito:
Congratulations, I applied and they shortlisted me too.

When does it ask for NIN, is it during sign up or when exactly, I have done it multiple times

After signing up, the next thing is to apply. When applying, you will see where you will input your NIN.

Yes beneficiaries will be entitled to monthly stipend.

Sorry for asking too much. How much are we talking about?

Rindo69:
So, you put your hope and aspirations in your leaders, vote them into office. You hope that these leaders can lead the country on a path of prosperity but what happens. They enrich themselves, send their kids to the best schools and put them in juicy positions basically setting them up for life. You, the voters, because you are unemployed and unemployable due to their neglect of the educational system, stiffling economic growth with their inability to provide good roads and electricity, piling on more taxes, have to make do with skill acquisition programmes. I hope you know many people who will sign up are graduates from the universities who couldn't get jobs in their field of study .

You call this a win abi!

Do not get me twisted. Let us reason together. Can government employ every graduate? Nigeria is producing more than 350 thousand graduates every year.

Those who are occupying government offices are not willing to leave anytime sooner: they falsify age to extend their stay, thereby leaving the graduates stranded. Your loved ones might even be among those commiting this atrocious act.

Unemployment is a global crisis. This is because of the rising population. The available resources cannot meet the demand of the rising population. I am not disputing the fact that there are corrupt politicians. Indeed, there are!

Will they be giving monthly stipend in the course of the training?

Rindo69:
They send their kids outside, put them in multi-nationals and MDAs or as board members ...then train you as shoe maker , hair dresser and barber, then you will carry your mouth to shout renewed hope

Well done

The earlier you understand that life is not a bed of roses and all fingers are not equal, the better for you. Everybody cannot be rich at the same time. Everybody cannot put on good clothes at the same time. Everybody cannot travel out of the country at the same time. Everybody cannot be educated at the same time. The world is like that to create a balance.

If you are in the position of those politicians, you might even be worse than them.

Just applied. Will there be remuneration during the course of trainning?

Any shortlisted Education Officer whatsapp group?
