Popular and talented actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo, (RMD) has sued the nation’s popular online fashion and beauty retailer, Jumia, for unauthorized use of image rights of the actor on ‘Jumia Fashion’ Instagram page without his permission.
According to RMD’s publicist, this unauthorized use of the image has been ongoing and has had the effect of portraying to unsuspecting customers that Jumia enjoys the patronage of or endorsement of RMD.

RMD is a well known brand ambassador for various companies and his image has been widely and regularly used for product placement in a variety of platforms. He has always jealously guarded his image and has been meticulous about the type of products and services associated therewith. Jumia’s unilateral and unauthorized use of RMD’s image for the advancement of its products and website has undoubtedly enhanced Jumia’s brand awareness and created a buzz about Jumia’s fashion line at the expense of RMD.

Beautiful Popular actress has opened up on the real reason why she left Nollywood.
In a chat with Saturday Beats, Lillian revealed that she practically ran out of the movie industry because of piracy after she became a producer.

“I purposely took a break from doing movies. I became a producer and I wanted to be doing my own movies but piracy couldn’t allow me. In Nollywood, experience is actually the best teacher; nobody really tells you the truth. You have to go through the experience to find out what others are suffering from.

In a recent interview with punch newspaper, Popular Nollywood actress and beautiful mother of twins, evealed that any movie project she gets involved in must be the type that allows her to return to her kids.

She also revealed that her little babies do not have any reason to miss their father, because they interact with him often.
“Acting is a demanding career. I am taking my time and only doing jobs that will give me time for my boys. When we go on locations, we spend days before coming home but for now, that is not what I want for my kids.”
“So, I only take jobs that will make me come home to them,” she said.
Concerning if the children won’t feel the absence of their father, the ‘Arewa Okunrin’ actress commented, “why should they miss their father?’
