Dear

Dear OP, if you have enough money to do courses like CFA.....you can start.
I'd prefer you get a good job, graduate trainee roles if possible, while at it you save and do financial certification courses.
When opportunities come knocking, you'll have gotten experience as well as your certification.
If you go for certification, you may be underpaid because of your lack of experience. Most vacancies mention certification as an added advantage for entry-level roles.

CareerFinance Analysts In The Hoiuse by JessiE06(op): 10:45am On Nov 16, 2024
Good morning guys, I just finished my NYSC 2 weeks ago and I need advice. I want to pursue a career in finance and become a financial analyst. I'm a graduate of accounting education from Lagos State University and I need advice and answers to some questions from professionals in this field.
First thing first
Where do I start?
What certifications would aid me in this career path?
On which course should I do masters, I heard it's better to get a masters in economics
And what advice do you have generally for anyone who is just starting out.
Also if anyone has an internship opening anywhere, I'm available😊 cos I'm just an unemployed graduate at this point.
Thank You
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Help Am About To Leave My 100,000 Paying Job To Start A Bakery Business by JessiE06: 10:19am On Aug 25, 2022

Please stay with your job or think of another business to open. Bakery business is not a business you can start if you are not very FINANCIALLY BUOYANT and have ANOTHER steady source of income. It is a highly risky business where you can lose 70% of your investment in a day. As someone whose parents own a bakery what I can never advise anyone to start it because you have to be prepared to run into debt at anytime. You'll be shocked at the large amount of debts and loans most of these big bakeries have to take to continue running. It is a very profitable business but it is so risky that just the slightest thing can cause you to lose half of your investment. Worst is no matter how many years of experience you have it is never enough. I can go on and on about the risks. From production to the workers to sales. It's plenty
