My brother, I once had the same problem, Antivirus Programs are for Viruses, Antispyware are for Spyware, start by downloading Windows Defender Spyware free of charge here www(dot)download(dot)com/Microsoft-Windows-Defender/3000-12771_4-10353597.htm

Then you update it, you should see the "Check for New Definitions" Button when you run it after installation,

Then you Scan your system, you should know what to do with the results

If u xperience funny activities like "windows defender cannot update", its because not all antispyware can see all spyware, and some spyware stop ur antispyware from updating, you'll have to download another anty spyware, just Search Google with "Free antispyware"

About the I-POD, there is a possibility that you have a virus on your IPOD, here is what I suggest,

plug your I-pod to any PC with an updated Antivirus

Scan the IPOD for virus (right click on the IPOD icon from my computer, click scan)

To view all the files on your IPOD, right click the ICON from My Computer and click properties

then un-check "Hidden" from Attributes and u will see all your files, you can now do with them what you like

Warning: Those file are kept hidden because apart from your music files, the Apple software that makes ur IPOD work is stored there. If you delete all the files, you IPOD becomes a flash drive and u can no longer play from it.

My advice, copy everything in the flash and paste in another folder, then format your IPOD (do this only after u have scanned for viruses) then copy all the contents of that folder back to your IPOD,

This should solve ur problem unless u have been dropping your IPOD on the floor,
