Tyson Fury responded to Anthony Joshua calling him out immediately after his victory over Wladimir Klitschko by saying "challenge accepted".


British Boxer of Nigerian Descent, Anthony Joshua established himself as the world's leading heavyweight by adding the WBA belt to his IBF title with a dramatic 11th-round stoppage of Klitschko in front of an estimated 90,000 crowd at Wembley Stadium

Anthony Joshua after defeating Klitchsko called out Tyson fury who has been inactive since his defeat of Klitschko having most recently struggled with depression, but he has remained a consistent presence on social media.

"(Tyson) Fury where you at, baby?" Joshua said while still in the ring. "I love fighting. Tyson Fury, I know he's been talking, I want to give 90,000 a chance (to see us), I just want to fight."

Fury tweeted back saying: 'Challenge accepted. We will give the world the biggest fight in a 500 years. I will play with you. You are a boxer's dream'.

In another tweet, he added:

"Well done Anthony Joshua. Good fight, You had life and death with Klitschko and I played with the guy. Let's dance."

Nigerian- French Musician, Asa shared her story on her Asa Encore show which held on the 29th of May 2017 at Eko Convention Centre.

Asa shared her story with her audience of ho she got signed.

She said; "While I was student in France, I wanted any chance to perform, to open shows for artists…Any chance at all to sing. I heard about this Grammy nominated group who were in town and found my way to audition for them. When I got to where they were rehearsing, I was asked to wait. It was cold, coming from Lagos, I didn’t pack any warm clothing

I ended up waiting for 10 hours

They had almost forgotten about me and were already packing up when I was called to show what I could do. I poured all the anger and frustrations of waiting into that audition. They liked it and asked me to come open their show for them the next day, it was a two minute slot

After my two minutes performance, I got signed. I later heard there were 5 record labels fighting to sign me that day.

Lady who attempted suicide in Lagos, arraigned for attempted suicide, granted N500k bail

An Ebute-Meta Magistrates Court, Lagos, on Monday ordered a textile dealer, Mrs. Titilayo Momoh, to undergo psychiatric evaluation following her arraignment by the police for attempted suicide. .

Momoh, 58, was also granted N500,000 bail with two sureties in like sum. The woman was on March 24 stopped from jumping off the 3rd Mainland Bridge into the Lagoon by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command.

Then, Momoh, who lives in Lekki Lagos, disclosed that she was pushed to committing suicide in order to put an end to her constant sleeplessness and shame occasioned by her indebtedness to 3 Swiss textile dealers. .

The member of RCCG, disclosed that on several occasions she had attempted to see her Parish Pastor to identify with her problem and for the church to help her raise money, all to no avail.

Media Adviser to Apostle Suleman, Phrank Shaibu, in a new interview has laughed off rumors about the visit.

“Images of interrogation can never leave because the officers and men of the Nigeria Police are professional”, he told our correspondent.
“Apostle Suleman’s mission at the Force Headquarters was concerning his police protection.

“He went there to renew agreement of officers attached to him because whenever he is in Lagos, Abuja or Auchi, there are police security attached to him.

“So he met with top officers to discuss the terms, among other requirements. Nothing more. People will talk, we are used to it.”

Meanwhile, Apostle Suleman has reacted to new allegations made against him by alleged lover, Stephanie Otobo, and vowed not to allow them go unchallenged.

Chocolate City boss, Audu MaikorI didn't appear in court today, April 20, 2017 for his on-going case over his comments on the Southern Kaduna crisis. Audu who has been arrested twice on the case last appeared in court on Monday, March 13, 2017 when he was granted bail on health grounds and the case was adjourned till today.

Audu didn't appear in court because his failing health and respiratory problems deteriorated and he's had to travel out of the country for treatment.

The court sat this morning at about 9am and the case has now been adjourned till May 15, 2017.
