I just watched the interview and I remember saying sometime ago here that she does not like the guy. Those acts were just games to her. Maria cannot be romantically linked to anybody in that house outside the house.

Big brother giving them a free week is actually strategic, they planned it very well.

So in the five weeks remaining, evicting three each weeks means by the final week, there will be eight housemates remaining so they will have to evict four housemates in three weeks and three In one week so that in the final weeks, there will be five remaining.

So if cross enters top two in the voting, big brother will evict three because they won't want either Maria or Pere to go yet but if cross is outside top two then they will evict four and cross will go.
