I just did that... After Browsing for 15 mins it's on 97%.
I think the best solution is not to charge it to 100.just stop at 98.. It will last a lot longer.

if I touch the home screen key the launchers will close.

go to apps in all settings, swipe till you see all then scroll to Launcher3, then click clear defaults then press home again.

It's not just you, mine drops till like 90 then it's good.
I think it needs to be calibrated

yeah I rooted but after the update the phone became "unrooted" so I had to root it again, heard some rooted peeps bricked theirs while updating so it's wise to have a backup. I used 3g.

Mine is not rooted so i can go ahead with the update right?

I have had the phone for two weeks now and I have been a silent reader of this thread and only decided to post to address some of the issues you raised.

1. User experience varies by individuals and that affects performance.

2. The battery is NOT overhyped. I am a china procurement agent (yes, I'm promoting myself )
and I am on the phone from 8am to around 8pm, with regular browsing on H+, chats and voice calls and I still have enough juice at the end of the day. I am a power user and I can confidently go out without carrying my charger. For a regular user, he/she can squeeze two days out of it.

3. I have not had any issue concerning copying files from a PC (I speak for myself though)

4. I have not had any issue with deleted sms reappearing.

5. Speaking about cons, the only issues I have with the phone are that the capacitive keys are not backlit and my whatsapp for some strange reasons lags before it loads, that said, these are very minor issues I can live with.

6. If you discover more cons, its probably peculiar to your unit not a widespread thing.

7. I upgraded to the latest update and I saw improvements in the call log and ability to delete multiple sms at once. No other significant improvement though.


8. In summary, to everyone reading this,if you want to order for the phone, go ahead. It's a great deal at this price point.

From page 1 to this present page, 90% information there is order order order....... no accurate user's review, users are only giving us the pros, what about the cons? i noticed some people are overwhelmed because this is the best product they have gotten from infinix so far.
For me i still maintain the phone's battery is over hyped. It lasts very well provided u don't press it. Managing sms too na war, deleted smses keep on reappearing, am tired of deleting and redeleting smses


Try connecting your phone to a computer via a USB to access files on your memory card, it's an awful experience.

Am not saying the phone is not good bt we are only talking abt d good sides of the fone, what happened to the ugly side of it. Don't let us mislead people here.

Update your phone and ur sms will get deleted.
Ionno if it's yours, but the battery is pretty damn good
And I don't have issues connecting it to pc I even use it as hotspot
