my machine is not rooted I don't like root anyway I switch to infinix from techno because tecno never update there phone no matter what the update they release is safe because I have updated mine using 2G not even 3G and the whole process did not take less than 20 mins download ---- install and upgrade just don't interrupt the phone during the process but if your phone is rooted then you will definitely brick the phone with the update and another thing is if you have rooted your phone you won't need the update just some minor optimization and added instagram apk that's allhappy surfing

I just got mine, I haven't rooted it, so you're saying it's safe to update
