Since you are using custom Rom, I take it you have custom recovery, Fastboot installed.

Reboot into recovery, wipe cache, Dalvik, data, system and data (if you don't want to keep your personal files)

Reboot into Fastboot, connect the phone to PC, copy Rom zip onto it.

Switch to recovery, locate and Install the custom Rom you copied.

I believe you know you will install gapps as well.
