One question that no one has answered, especially our officers that are already in-service, we have asked severally, i don't think it's a confidential something.

Did they later pay for the training period? We remember you told us no pay for the 6months but some said they'll later pay it as arrears.
Now the question is, did they later pay it? If yes, is it full payment or partial.

Or pay starts from after commissioning.

We're interested in this information so we can know how to do our permutation ahead. Make person no go dey borrow running cost during the 6month with hope of paying back. 6months is half a year o and no matter how you will still spend money in college even if they're feeding cadets.

Let me make things clear for you, it is true that there's no payment throughout the period of the training.
As for later payment, no one can confirm that, for example support staffs did their P.O.P. 30th of march, 2022, that is seven months ago, uptill now there's no even a rumour of salary arrears.
So, just zero your mind about that, if it come, thank God, if it didn't come, you wouldn't be disappointed.
My advice, don't borrow too much money, I know of someone who was unable to settle his debt since march this year, so act wisely.

It is almost impossible, we that participated in this exercise since 2019 can attest to that. Even if someone want to help you, following these steps is mandatory. There will be a series of verifications to be done during your training and anyone who missed one step will be dealt with appropriately.

Yes, I can recall that I am came 18th out of 20 among the recruits we ran together with, infact I arrived 19:09, I will never forget with that, that is 51 seconds before the time elapsed.
So don't go and give yourself cardiac arrest, jog at your own pace.

He was my classmate, and we were posted to same command. A very cool guy, I was at the command yesterday when we heard the terrible news, most of us including the officers bursted in to tears.

Let me allow u guys know sth customs is one of the biggest jobs in Nigeria when it comes to uniform followed by efcc, there's no way they have finnished training and not been paid, now let me elaborate every agency in d ministry of interior started receiving their salaries while in training, d recent trainees nw is civil defense and they all been paid , still yet they are not done with training talk more of customs that have money to pay themslvs without help of fed govt. Even road safety that just finished recently all started seeing salaries b4 their p.o.p...i wish u all goodluck fam

You can believe what you like bross, but take it or leave it " CUSTOMS NEVER PAID SALARY " to trainees that passed out in march and July during training.

Yes, this is the truth, because some people may use this information to spread damaging information about the training.

Anyone who gave you an appointment letter now is a scam.
Someone recently reported to Goron Dutse with fake appointment letter given to him by a fraudster.
Customs are very serious about these kind of issues, so don't allow yourself to be a victim of cheap scam.

The training colleges are expecting recruits so no one will deny you entry.
What will happen is this;
For that night, you will be allowed to rest your heads inside but without a meal.
On Sunday morning, all the recruits will report outside the gate. There proper welcoming will be done.

Names and APL will be checked and then you will be documented (that you have arrived and you're present for the training).

Boxes will be searched in case of illegal items (Knives, hard drugs, electric kettles & stove etc). After that, you proceed in and sit on the floor. While sitting, hostel accommodations will be allocated to each recruits (this will be done in batches). Once you have been given accommodation, you can now settle down.
It's very possible that kits will be issued that day. All these will take time, they may round up late in the evening.

For that guy that said meals won't be provided till Monday, please that's wrong. From Sunday evening, you will start collecting meals. A meal ticket will be given to you. Please don't misplace it oo, else you won't be getting food.

I wish you all safe trip as you journey to Lagos and Kano. We go meet for there!!

Seems the transfer window is currently open. Please if you know you were given a PFA (Pension Fund Administrator) you don't like and you've been given a PIN, kindly proceed to the PFA you like and give them the PIN, inform them of your wish to change to theirs. They'll accept you wholeheartedly and effect the change immediately.
Do not hesitate, the transfer window opens once a year.

Please can you suggest a better PFA? I registered with PAL pension.

Everything will be alright by God's willing, I faced the same issue last time I went to collect mine, it is problem created by some colleges, they usually issue certicates after four years.

Update for those going with statement of results

I went with a statement of my NCE results. I was able to collect the appointment letter but I wasn't documented.

I was asked to go the school and get an attestation letter that should be addressed to the comptroller general of customs. Then take same to the HQ and get it stamped then come back and continue with the process.

I'll advice those going with statement of results to this first instead of wasting transport and time. If yours is ready, go and collect it, it's that simple.

Someone whose name wasn't on the final list came in today but he didn't succeed.

That is all I have for now.

Sorry to hear that, I spent three days in my institute to collect my certificate.
It is the reason I was unable to come last week.

After your credentials screening, you will go for medicals and that wraps it up for day one.
You are to report in front of the clinic by 0630hrs (6.30am) the next day for your endurance test.
So you are advised not to go home, look for somewhere close by and pass the night inorder to meet up with the time given.
